    Hello, I need to filter details of specific Type(i.e Custom Type) . DIA2Dump blindly dump everything as type. I need to give it specific custom type as string and as result need all data members(i.e data section of that class). Is there any specific function available in DIA SDK for this. say I have Custom type MyClass and it has 4 variables as data members i.e DWORD data, DWORD location, BOOL MachineType and FLOAT Price. Now I should be able to pass MyClass as in parameter and it should output as data members(listed above as data,location...) of this class. How..?? Regards Regards Usman

  • Why does the MSCVRT library generate conflicts at link time?

    I am building a project in Visual C++ 2008, which is an example MFC-based app for a static C++ class library I will be using in my own project soon. While building the Debug configuration, I get the following: warning LNK4098: defaultlib 'MSVCRT' conflicts with use of other libs; use /NODEFAULTLIB:library After using the recommended option (by adding "msvcrt" to the "Ignore specific library" field in the project linker settings for the Debug configuration), the program links and runs fine. However, I'd like to find out why this conflict occured, why do I have to ignore a critical library, and if I'm to expect problems later I if add the ignore, or what happens if I don't (because the program builds anyway). At the same time, the Release configuration warns: warning LNK4075: ignoring '/EDITANDCONTINUE' due to '/OPT:ICF' specification warning LNK4098: defaultlib 'MSVCRTD' conflicts with use of other libs; use /NODEFAULTLIB:library I'm guessing that the "D" suffix means this is the debug version of the vc++ runtime, no idea why this gets used this time. Anyway, adding "msvcrtd" to the ignore field causes lots of link errors of the form: error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol imp_CrtDbgReportW Any insight greatly appreciated.

    I am looking for a (preferably pure) python library to do AES 256 encription and decryption. This library should support the CBC cipher mode and use PKCS7 padding according to the answer to an earlier question of mine. The library should at least work on Mac OS X (10.4) and Windows XP. Ideally just by dropping it into the source directory of my project. I have seen this by Josh Davis, but am not sure about how good it is and if it does the required CBC cipher mode...     I get this exception after i removed from my project the jars (pdfbox ,bouncycastle etc) and moved them to another folder but i included them in the build path ... at the first line eclipse shows this error( the constructor PDFParser(InputStream) refers to missing type InputStream) -altought FileInputStream is extended from InputStream- and i don't know why?     First, a caveat. The main script is not run in a webpage. I will be running the .js file in Windows using Windows Script Host. The problem: I would like to create a javascript "library" containing a number of objects, each with a number of functions. I expect this library will get rather large with time and would like to keep it in a separate javascript file (let's call it Library.js). I would like to access the objects from Library.js from another script (let's call this one User.js). In essence, I am looking for something similar to the C/C++ "include" paradigm. Is there anyway to implement this in javascript? (Remember, this is not web-based)

    Hello, I have a framework that uses Boost and CgiCC in the core application and in its interface. How should I version the library binary interface (a.k.a. libtool -version-info)? I have no problems tracking the changes in library itself when I make various changes. As it is clear for me how should I version. But... Both Boost and CgiCC libraries do not provide any backward compatible API/ABI and my library may be linked with quite arbitrary versions Boost and CgiCC so I can't provide any promise about the interfaces, so I can't really specify -version-info because even the same library compiled against different versions of Boost and CgiCC would not be compatible. So... What should I do? How should I version library? I know that I should not depend on Boost and CgiCC interfaces in first place, but this is what I get so far for existing stable version. This issue is addressed in next major release but I still have and want to maintain current release as it is very valuable.

The best library I can find for this is CGAL, but this is the sort of project I would hesitate to make without garbage collection. What language/library pairs can you recommend? So far my best bet is importing CGAL into D. There is also a project for making Python bindings for CGAL, but it's very incomplete.

    I am writing a command line tool to convert Markdown text to html output, which seems easy enough. However, I am wondering how to get nice syntax coloring for embedded code blocks, like the one used by Stack Overflow. Does anyone know either: What library StackOverflow is using or if there's a library out there that I can easily reuse? Basically it would need to have some of the same "intelligence" found in the one that Stack Overflow uses, by basically doing a best-attempt at figuring out the language in use to pick the right keywords. Basically, what I want is for my own program to handle a block like the following: if (a == 0) return true; if (a == 1) return false; // fall-back Markdown Sharp, the library I'm using, by default outputs the above as a simple pre/code html block, with no syntax coloring. I'd like the same type of handling as the formatting on Stack Overflow does, the above contains blue "return" keywords for example. Or, hmm, after checking the source of this Stack Overflow page after adding the code example, I notice that it too is formatted like a simple pre/code block. Is it pure javascript-magic at works here, so perhaps there's no such library? If there's no library that will automagically determine a possible language by the keywords used, is there one that would work if I explicitly told it the language? Since this is "my" markdown-commandline-tool, I can easily add syntax if I need to.

    I am building a shared library on Ubuntu 9.10. I want to export only a subset of my functions from the library. On the Windows platform, this would be done using a module definition (.def) file which would contain a list of the external and internal names of the functions exported from the library. I have the following questions: How can I restrict the exported functions of a shared library to those I want (i.e. a .def file equivalent) Using .def files as an example, you can give a function an external name that is different from its internal name (useful for prevent name collisions and also redecorating mangled names etc) On windows I can use the EXPORT command (IIRC) to check the list of exported functions and addresses, what is the equivalent way to do this on Linux?

  • How do I add a reference to a Web Application Project in an Associated Class Library?

    I'm working on an internet application that has been set up as a web SITE project (I know...) in Visual Studio. I need to add additional features/functionality so have added a class library to the project and referred to it in the main web site project. The issue now arises because I need to make use of core objects which live inside the App_Code directory in the web site project but this project doesn't appear to expose its DLL like web app/ code library projects do. Because of this I can't add a reference to the web site project in the class library to leverage the common site-wide code/objects. I can't move the stuff out of App_Code so I'm looking for a way to refer to the website project dll from the new class library. Can anyone suggest a workaround? All help v. gratefully received :-)

A 2-way-naviglabe many Orders to one Type relation is meant. Order Type instances are, for example, "Request availability", "Request price", "Preorder", "Buy", "Cancel", "Request support", etc. Order Types are to be addable and editable in the resulting application. Should I model Order Type as Class or as Enumeration? From the data perspective I can't see the difference actually.

    I have a generic class that should allow any type, primitive or otherwise. The only problem with this is using default(T). When you call default on a value type or a string, it initializes it to a reasonable value (such as empty string). When you call default(T) on an object, it returns null. For various reasons we need to ensure that if it is not a primitive type, then we will have a default instance of the type, not null. Here is attempt 1: T createDefault() { if(typeof(T).IsValueType) { return default(T); } else { return Activator.CreateInstance<T>(); } } Problem - string is not a value type, but it does not have a parameterless constructor. So, the current solution is: T createDefault() { if(typeof(T).IsValueType || typeof(T).FullName == "System.String") { return default(T); } else { return Activator.CreateInstance<T>(); } } But this feels like a kludge. Is there a nicer way to handle the string case?

  • Convert C function to Objective C or alternative way to include C library?

    Background: I'm new to Objective-C and I've never touched C before. I'm trying to include a C library in my iPhone/iPod Touch project and I could not successfully compile the library's source code using the included instructions, so I've resorted to including the .h and .c files in Xcode. The library is for Hebrew Dates and corresponding Jewish Holidays. It can be found here: http://sourceforge.net/projects/libhdate/ I cannot seem to import the .c files into my implementation files. I can import the .h files though. When I try to use #import "file.c", where file.c is a file that is in XCode, it doesn't work. Why not? I've considered just writing the functions over in Objective-C, albeit only my needed functions and not the whole library. How can I make the following C function work in Objective-C? Are there other things that need to be included/re-coded/compiled? How so? I am almost certain something is missing, but I'm not sure what.   • Is there a .def file equicalent on Linux for controlling exported function names in a shared library

    I am building a shared library on Ubuntu 9.10. I want to export only a subset of my functions from the library. On the Windows platform, this would be done using a module definition ( .def) file which would contain a list of the external and internal names of the functions exported from the library. I have the following questions: How can I restrict the exported functions of a shared library to those I want (i.e. a .def file equivalent) Using .def files as an example, you can give a function an external name that is different from its internal name (useful for prevent name collisions and also redecorating mangled names etc) On windows I can use the EXPORT command (IIRC) to check the list of exported functions and addresses, what is the equivalent way to do this on Linux?

  • help('modules') crashing? Not sure how to fix..

    I was trying to install a module for opencv and added an opencv.pth file to the folder beyond my sites.py file. I have since deleted it and no change.   • What exactly does a self-describing type in .Net mean?

    Given this MSDN article, we learn that the Common Type System in .Net has this classification of reference types: "Reference types can be self-describing types, pointer types, or interface types. The type of a reference type can be determined from values of self-describing types. Self-describing types are further split into arrays and class types." So an array, for instance, is a self-describing type because we can determine it's type from its values? How? Is that it, or is there more to this definition?
