  • PHP / Drupal equivalent of .bat file [closed]

    I am new to Drupal and have just started in Drupal 7. I have a very simple .bat file that calls a .txt file to open a ftp connection, get a file off the ftp server and place it on my desktop. Now that I know that works.. (YAY!) I need to figure out how to have it done with a cron job in Drupal, save it somewhere so that I can unzip it somehow and then populate a table in the database with it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

    I'm new with dealing with the .sqlite3 in iphone, I created a sqlite3 file in /Users/myLab/Library/Application Support/iPhone Simulator/5.1/Applications/308C4355-D8EE-4524-A7F9-638DEB68B298/Documents/file.sqlite3 and I inserted the tables into it using Terminal.app and everything works ok with my app. but when I moved this application to another device, opened by xcode and trying to run it, I discovered that my tables are not found in this .sqlite3 file in another device. how can I save my tables in .sqlite3 file??

    I read some tutorials on how to read data from a database.properties file- which basically stored key-value pairs. What i want to know is, in which folder should I place this file? Is it in the root (ie "src") or within a package... And how do I access this file, if it is placed in "src"- my code will be within a package (and the package's directory will be under src)- so how do I access the properties file, which is in "src", from a class within a package?

    I sometimes get this error when resuming from hibernation: Delayed Write Failed: Windows was unable to save all the data for the file G:\$Mft. The data has been lost. This error may be caused by a failure of your computer hardware or network connection. Please try to save this file elsewhere. I know this is caused because the hard drive (G:, an external USB drive) was (a) plugged in when I hibernated and wasn't ready at wake-up, or (b) I simply forgot to plug it when resuming from hibernation. My question is: is there any way to see which particular file/folder/etc failed to be written? The hard drive functions correctly before and after, so there seems to be no permanent damage. Is there a detailed log someplace or a utility? I've searched but found nothing. Thanks for any help!

    I have a KVM server that I expanded the LV of then rebooted. However now when booting I get the error: error: Failed to create domain from /home/kvm/kvmx/kvmx.xml error: (domain_definition):1: Document is empty (null) ^ It appears the config file still exits however it is now empty. I attempted to replace the contents of the file with the correct previous information however it continues to wipe it on attempt to boot and fails again with the same error. How would I got about solving this so the file doesn't get wiped on every reboot? OS: Centos 6 64bit I would appreciate any help you may have.

This in mind, I downloaded the lua source from the offical site. After compiling the only file even close is liblua.a. I need a liblua-5.1(.4).so file for Apache. How do I make a .so file for liblua?

    I have a CSV file in which every column contains unnecessary spaces(or tabs) after the actual value. I want to create a new CSV file removing all the spaces using bash. For example One line in input CSV file value1 ;value2 ;value3 ;value4 same line in output csv file should be value1;value2;value3;value4 I tried using awk to trim each column but it didnt work.     I need to inventory based on file age a huge NAS. Some folders are restricted, and only users or groups have rights. As you probably know Treesize is the best solution, the only problem I found is that if I want to script it it only takes a screenshot instead of writing the information to a text file. (If done through the GUI I'm allowed to copy/paste into text, but I need to script it, several shares). Robocopy /l lists the files but I also need to know the dates (last access / last modify) I saw a kernel driver by hobeanu to bypass ntfs permissions. But do you know any easier way to bypass ntfs permissions? or any other application that allows this type of request and save the information to a text file. (scriptable) Thanks

  • Restricting server.log file size (minecraft) in CentOS

    I'm currently running a bukkit (minecraft) server which generates a server.log file with all the console messages / errors. Every now and then I have a plugin (which i need) that crashes and can cause the server.log file size to increase dramatically. I've had it hit 32GB before which used all my disk space. Is there a way to make it a rolling log (deletes old errors) or be able to limit the file size so it can't go above say 10MB. But the solution needs to not affect how the server runs so it doesn't throw an error when it can't write anymore. Anyway of doing this with CentOS?
