• Phonegap 2.1 for Android - Hello World App 3 errors at launch

  I developed something with Phonegap for iOS, but this is my first trial for Android. I created my hello world application with CLI sth like this mentioned here: $ /path/to/cordova-android/bin/create /path/to/my_new_cordova_project com.example.cordova_project_name CordovaProjectName Even though I created this app in Eclipse Workspace, I needed to import it to Eclipse. I created two AVDs. One for API level 8, one for API level 16. When I try to build, it gives me these three errors and a warning. What is wrong with my setup? • iPhone framework paths?

  I recently moved my projects to a new mac, along with a newer version of Xcode. When i opened my project i noticed that some files were red. So i remapped them by setting the path (by project path) and then providing the proper path location. Now my problem is that the frameworks that i have are red, and i cant find their location! I did set the framework paths to be "relative to current SDK" however. Can anybody help me get my frameworks mapped correctly? The frameworks im using are: - QuartzCore.framework - libsqlite3.0.dylib - UIKit.framework - Foundation.frameowrk - CoreGraphics.framework The XCode version is 3.1.4 (the only one installed). The iPhone app was originally created using a prior version of Xcode (i dont remember which version).

  What is better/faster to use: #! perl or #! perl.exe or #! fullpath/perl(/perl.exe) or #! partialpath/perl(/perl.exe) ? And, when using "#! perl", when it works on a particular system, what is the print() for showing the full path to perl.exe, that could be included into the Shebang Line ? And, if using a /path/path/perl, are "*" or "..." allowed to be used for the folders ?

• git-svn clone checkouts wrong repo?

  So I am trying to switch to git, by using git-svn. I am having a svn repo called myrepo from which I want to clone just the project called myproject. The thing is that by running the following command: git svn clone path-to-repo/myrepo/myproject --stdlayout --prefix=svn myproject the whole repo myrepo is cloned rather than just myproject. I tried using -T, -t, -b as well to let git know about the layout of the project, but without any success. I always get the following output: Using higher level of URL: path-to-repo/myrepo/myproject => path-to-repo/myrepo and tries to clone that one. Am I doing something wrong? It might be that the svn repo layout could be broken or git incompatible ?

• How can I change ruby log level in unit tests based on context

  I'm new to ruby so forgive me if this is simple or I get some terminology wrong. I've got a bunch of unit tests (actually they're integration tests for another project, but they use ruby test/unit) and they all include from a module that sets up an instance variable for the log object. When I run the individual tests I'd like log.level to be debug, but when I run a suite I'd like log.level to be error. Is it possible to do this with the approach I'm taking, or does the code need to be restructured? Here's a small example of what I have so far. • Export environment variable from PHP, for use by exec()'d shell command?

  Somewhat similar to http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2002970/export-a-variable-from-php-to-shell, but my problem is different. I am forced to work with a program that gets an important location variable from an Environment Variable (Linux), rather than a config or, better, a command line option. I have to call this program from within PHP, and currently am doing it like so: shell_exec('/path/to/program option1 option2'); I need to be able to set/override the environment variable that program will be looking for. As an example, this does not work: shell_exec('VAR1=foo /path/to/program option1 option2'); nor does: shell_exec('VAR1=foo; export foo; /path/to/program option1 option2'); for good measure. Both of the above command lines work "as expected" from the shell. Is it possible to override environment variables for programs called via exec, shell_exec, etc?

  I have used the following code to get the document root. $path = get_file_dir(); function get_file_dir() { global $argv; return realpath($argv[0]); } Below code includes config.php and config.php has the $setuprun variable with a value. if((file_exists("$path/admin/config.php"))) { include_once "$path/admin/config.php"; } if($setuprun=="true") { //do some code } In my system, it takes the document root like /home/myname/myfolder and the variable $setuprun has the value and the code works perfectly. But in another user's system, it shows the following error. Notice: Undefined variable: setuprun in /usr/local/www/chat/setup.php on line 22. He is using FreeBSD 8.2 Stable with MySQL 5, PHP5 and Apache 2.2. Can anyone please help me to solve this error?

  I have a process under the Run key in the registry. It is trying to access an environment variable that I have defined in a previous session. I'm using ExpandEnvironmentStrings to expand the variable within a path. The environment variable is a user profile variable. When I run my process on the command line it does not expand as well. If I call 'set' I can see the variable. Some code... • VC++ - Asynchronous Thread

  I am working on VC++ project, in that my application process a file from input path and generates 3 output "*.DAT" files in the destination path. I will FTP these DAT file to the destination server. After FTP, I need to delete only two output .DAT files the folder. I am able to delete those files, because there one Asynchronous thread running behind the process. Since the thread is running, while deleting it says, "Cannot delete, the file is used by another person". I need to stop that thread and delete the files. Multiple files can also be taken from the input path to process. Please help me in resolving this issue. Its very high priority issue for me. Please help me ASAP.

• Is it possible to import specific class from project propreties

  I have 2 projects. First project need to include second. When I copy sources from second project to first I need to modify manually import path to R.java file. The problem is that I need to use SVN external link connection between this 2 projects, that is mean, one project (the bigger one) will take sources from another through svn and should be able to use it without any modifications. If I would be able to specify R.java file path anywhere in project properties it will resolve my problem by changing manually that path. Need to specify that package name of these 2 projects are different. Another solution to resolve this problem also would be accepted. Thank you.

• using i18n characters in url of image tag does not display the image

  I am using the image tag as the path /data/image/image.txt does exists. and it displays the image also. but when i introduce some i18n characters in the path lets say it says 404 error image not found, but the path /data/image??/image.txt does exists, please help me to find the solution for this? I used the firebug also to see whether the characters are decoded properly or not, in firebug I am able to see the correct characters they are not changed, still it is not able to pick the image. thanks a lot in advance. • Running a packaged exe in the same folder as the installed firefox extension

  I have read this thread, and some other How to run a local exe in my firefox extension The problem is, at deployment and using firefox 4.0.1, if I install the .xpi extension, the xpi is put inside the \Profiles...\extensions as **.xpi, which is a compressed format All the solutions assume that the the extension is put in a folder, thus they are accessing the folder as is, which I cannot do for example this guy says //**** get profile folder path **** var dsprops = Components.classes['@mozilla.org/file/directory_service;1'] .getService(Components.interfaces.nsIProperties); var ProfilePath = dsprops.get("ProfD", Components.interfaces.nsIFile).path; //**** initialize file **** var file = Components.classes["@mozilla.org/file/local;1"] .createInstance(Components.interfaces.nsILocalFile); file.initWithPath(ProfilePath); //**** append each step in the path **** file.append("extensions"); file.append("guid"); file.append("sample.exe"); guid in my case is installed as {f13b157f-b174-47e7-a34d-4815ddfdfeb8}.xpi which cannot be accessible this way
