• Parsing xml files locally from assets folder using XmlPullParser

  Im trying to parse a local xml file that I place in my assets folder. I've been trying to do this for almost a week now. • DELETE method not working in Apache 2.4

  I'm running Apache 2.4 locally and dealing with RESTful services authenticating through OAuth. GET, PUT and POST work fine but I can't get DELETE to work. I've tried installing WebDAV and mod_dav, overriding methods in .htaccess, tried Limits, force (enable) DELETE options in configuration and pretty much everything I've found in Google and StackExchange. • Individual pst files for individual outlook 2010 folders

  I was wondering if it is possible for the following scenario: Suppose I have 5 folders in my Microsoft Outlook 2010. Currently, there are 1 pst file that contain the 5 folders. Each folders contain emails that are grouped according to the folder name. So, can I have 5 pst file, whereby 1 pst file for 1 folder? This is because at some other time, I will create new folder(s) and existing folder I may remove from Outlook (but still able to make a copy of the pst file)

• Apache is sending php files to my browser instead of parsing

I have made a virtual host entry, but for some reason Apache is sending the PHP to the browser instead of parsing.. from googling around it looks like it's a problem with the mimetypes, but I'm not an Apache expert by any means, so if anyone could help it would be appreciated... • No external src ip in log files (my router ip appears instead)

  I recently retired my workhorse WRT54G router/AP in favor of a Linksys EA2700. Since then, all inbound traffic (bound to an Ubuntu 10.02 box running LAMP)logged to Syslog, Apache's error and access logs, etc. (all behind said router) is getting logged with a src ip of 192.168.1.1, that of the router's internal ip. For example, here is an old entry from apache's access.log: 74.82.68.20 - - [22/Feb/2011:10:14:34 -0600] "GET /assets/css/style.css HTTP/1.1" 304 154 "http://example.com/view.php?event_id=1" "BlackBerry8520/5.0.0.822 Profile/MIDP-2.1 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 VendorID/100" And here is one since switching the router: 192.168.1.1 - - [05/Oct/2012:21:29:25 -0500] "GET /somedir/print.css HTTP/1.1" 200 650 "http://example.com/somedir/" "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:15.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/15.0.1"** That first field is the problem. Each and every entry in every log shows an "external" IP of 192.168.1.1, which isn't very helpful. Any ideas? Much thanks from a n00b!

• innodb recovery from .ibd files

  My website has crashed a few days ago. The hosting company says some innodb database crashed. They sent a MySql data folder. I tried to restore the database, but phpmyadmin is only showing MyISAM tables. I checked the database with navicat. When I click innodb table, I got this error table 'xyz.wp_posts' doesn't exist. is there anyway to fix this on windows? • Run a MongoDB configuration server without 3GB of journal files

  For a production sharded MongoDB installation we need 3 configuration servers. According to the documentation "the config server mongod process is fairly lightweight and can be ran on machines performing other work". However, in the default configuration, they all have journalling enabled, and with preallocation this takes up 3 GB of disk space. I assume that the actual data and transaction volume of a config server is quite small, so that this seems a bit too much. Is there a way to (safely!) run these config servers with much less disk use for the journal? Do I need journalling at all on config servers? Can I set the journal size to be smaller?

• Expanding Files 0%, error 0x80070017 Windows 7 x64 RTM

  I have downloaded Windows 7 x64 from MSDN. I have checked the hash of the file and it is correct. I have them made a bootble USB stick (http://kmwoley.com/blog/?p=345 (had to use my vista bootsect.exe as running 32bit at the moment). When I boot from the USB it fails when expanding the file. It stays on 0% and fails after around 90 seconds. The error is 0x80070017. As the hash is correct and I am using USB I guess it could be a hardware problems. Any advice how to get Windows 7 installed? The machine is a Dell Studio Slim.

• Enter key on Mac OS X renames files instead of launching

  On my Mac when I hit the "enter" key on a file on my desktop or in the finder, it enters the "rename file" mode. 1) How do you actually "launch" or "open" (i.e. double click) the file with only the keyboard? In Windows, the Enter key does this. 2) Is there a way to map the Enter key to do this in Mac instead of rename? Honestly, it makes little sense to me. I mean, how often do you rename something? Once, maybe. How often do you open something? Lots and lots of times.

• Is there a way to import email from the raw email files?

  I have a client who recently switched hosts. When they switched hosts they didn't backup their email and updated their configuration settings so they lost everything. However, I was able to log in to their old hosting control panel and download their mail folder. I am wondering if there is a way to extract their emails and/or contacts from the files. I'm not sure what type of files they are, there is no extension, but the folder directory is structured like this: mail/ .Drafts/ .Sent/ .Trash/ cur/ new/ theirdomain.com/ tmp/ [email protected] maildir Inside of the theirdomain.com folder, there is a folder for each account and inside of that is a folder called "cur" which has a whole bunch of files with names like 1292945327.H169813P25958.uscentral21.myserverhosts.com,S=10117/2,S and if I preview those files I can see the actual email messages inside of them but I have no idea how to get that information from those files to an email client. Anyone know of a way to work with these files? Thanks in advance for any insight you can share!

• Moving MODx Files to Other MODx Website

  I have one website with modx installed to www.website.com/modx/ --- Keep in mind there are other Websites In Progress on this storage server. My issue is that I'm moving all this: templates, template variables, chunks, snippets, etc to another server that already has modx installed in it. My first instinct is to go to phpMyAdmin and export the sql file and import them to the new website's server. However, an error occurred when I attempted to do this. It had found many duplicates in fields that were associated a PK (due to it being the same website just a redesign). I don't have to go and dump the table of the oldsite and then upload the new sql file do i? Please advise.

  I wanted to install adobe reader on my ubuntu 10.10(Maverick Meerkat).I have downloaded the file and copied it on my desktop.I had then browsed to the desktop directory through command line terminal. • Samba users are writing files with the same owner

  I created a Samba share and 3 users (Marc, Mary and Paul), both in Ubuntu (12.04 LTS) and Samba. Then I configured 3 Win7 computers to access the share, each with different credentials. I created 3 folders, one for every user, and chown'd them to the related user, chmod'd them to 0700 and even restarted Samba. Every time that Mary or Paul create a file or a directory in the share, it ends up to be owned by Marc. They all can access the Marc folder, but none can open Mary's or Paul's. Can you help me with this problem? What am I missing?

My doubt is if I create a shared folder on domainA with read access to everyone for e.g., \\server1.domainA.net\sharedfolder. Will I be able to access this folder by just entering the path likewise from any machine in domainB without entering credentials.

• Keep-Alive header not sent from Tomcat 5.5 http connector?

  Hi, We're currently using a hardware load balancer, which then goes to Apache and that then goes to Tomcat 5.5 via the AJP connector. We've decided to dump apache for various reasons - In our current system it doesnt provide any advantage. However when I look at the headers sent when we do this, the "Keep-Alive: timeout=15 max=96" header doesnt get sent when you use the tomcat http connector Interestingly, i can find no documentiation on "keepalivetimeout" for tomcat5.5, but i can for tomcat6. But neither can i find evidence that tomcat5.5 doesnt support this setting. here's my connector: <Connector port="8090" maxHttpHeaderSize="8192" maxThreads="400" minSpareThreads="150" maxSpareThreads="300" enableLookups="false" connectionTimeout="2" maxKeepAliveRequests="400" disableUploadTimeout="true" /> So; Is there any way I can specify the keepalive timeout if we use the http connector with tomcat 5.5, and force this header entry to be sent? • What does the email header "X-CAA-SPAM" refer to?

  I've got an application that sends out notification emails to users of the application (this is not spam; the information in these emails is solicited and useful, and is also a feature turned off by default and must be enabled by the user). The app is still in beta, and one of our testers reports that the notification emails are going to his junk mail folder in Outlook 2003. This is the only reported case of this, but I asked him to send me the email headers from the message, and I noticed that there is a header there labeled "X-CAA-SPAM" with a value of 00000 . I'm a programmer, so I'm fairly green in the world of successful automated emails - does anyone know if this header is the culprit? If not, any suggestions?

  I'm serving up a static site via nginx. location ~* \.(avi|bin|bmp|dmg|doc|docx|dpkg|exe|flv|gif|htm|html|ico|ics|img|jpeg|jpg|m2a|m2v|mov|mp3|mp4|mpeg|mpg|msi|pdf|pkg|png|ppt|pptx|ps|rar|rss|rtf|swf|tif|tiff|txt|wmv|xhtml|xls|xml|zip)$ { root /var/www/html1; access_log off; expires 1d; } And my goal is to exclude requests like http://connect1.webinar.ru/converter/task/. Full view is like http://mydomain.tld/converter/task/setComplete/fid/34330/fn/7c2cfed32ec2eef6788e728fa46f7a80.ppt.swf. Despite the fact these URLs ends in such a format they are not static, but fake script requests, so I have a problems with them. What is the best way to do this? How can I add an exclusion for this URL or maybe I can to exclude the specific file exptension (.ppt.swf, pptx.swf) from the list of this Nginx location? Thanks.

SFC showed the ff. message after I ran it: "Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them. Details are included in the CBS.Log windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log."
