You all know about restrictions that exist in shared environment, so with that in mind, please suggest me a php function or something with the help of which I could stream my videos and other files. I have a lot of videos on the server, unlimited bandwidth and disk space, but I am limited in ram and cpu.
I'm not sure if it's just me, but whenever I open .txt files in internet explorer, it always parses the HTML, so forms, buttons, fields all show up. It does this on multiple computers, and I'm fairly sure it hasn't always done this. I know FireFox doesn't, FireFox loads it as a text file. Does anyone else have this problem? If so, have you solved it? If so again, how?

Each day an application creates a file called file_YYYYMMDD.csv where YYYYMMDD is the production date. But sometimes the generation fails and no files are generated for a couple of days.
I'd like an easy way in a bash or sh script to find the filename of the most recent file, which has been produced before a given reference date.
Typical usage: find the last generated file, disregarding those produced after the May 1st.
Thanks for your help
Hi, I'm finally ready to upload my Android app to the market. I didn't create a fancy icon like it shows at the android developer site. I just made an image that I liked and made it 48x48 png. Will that be ok?
So I have a list of key/value pairs of configuration values I want to store as java property files, and later load and iterate through.
Questions:
Do I need to store the file in the same package as the class which will load them, or is there any specific location where it should be placed?
Does the file need to end in any specific extension or is .txt ok?
How can I load the file in the code
And how can I iterate through the values inside?
Hello
I have a .NET CF project. In the project directory I put a simple xml file (users.xml) which has to be read by the device. When I debug the application on device emulator and try to load the file from code, the Exception is thrown (FileNotFoundException "Could not find file '\users.xml'.").
Is there a mechanism to automatically deploy also configuration files to a device emulator?
The following Rebol code fails due to an out of memory error:
read/binary http://mirror.bytemark.co.uk/ubuntu-releases/lucid/
ubuntu-10.04-desktop-i386.iso
How can I use Rebol to read large binary files over HTTP?
Several people have asked, in a roundabout way, but I have yet to see a workable solution. Is there any way to open an excel file from directly memory (like a byte[]) ? Likewise is there a way to write a file directly to memory? I am looking for solutions that will not involve the hard disk or juggling temporary files. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
I have a massive MySQL database (around 10 GB), and I need to copy it to a different server (slicehost). I don't want to do a DB dump and reimport b/c I think that would take forever. Is it possible to just move the raw SQL files from one machine to the next, setup an identical mysql server, and flip the switch?
I have three files in a folder 'test'
one.php
two.php
print.html
And i have .htaccess file in the same folder
RewriteEngine On
RewriteBase /test/
RewriteRule ^(.+)\.html$ $1\.php [L]
if we take the print.html in browser , there will be error , because of .htaccess file,

Can you recommend me what should I read/learn in order to make a well organized code in C?
One of the things I want to learn is the principles of splitting project in .h and .c files, what goes where and why, variable naming, when to use global variables ...
I am interested in books and articles that deal with this specific problem.
Hi,
I have a large number of image files in my iphone app bundle (~3000) and I want to determine the dimensions at runtime rather than store this data in the database or an xml manifest for the images.
Is there a way to do this programatically?
to run a single file you can run in mysql
.\ filename
or you outside of mysql you can run
mysql < filename
I have a directory of sql files so I'm trying to run them all at once by using a wildcard
*.sql
but it doesn't work.
Any ideas?
It seems that the popularity of jQuery and MS AJAX, as well as tools like YSlow & Google Page Speed have given rise to common components being hosted on Content Delivery Networks (CDN).
So which CDN's exist and what files do they serve?
We have to delete some directories and their contents using Java running on Windows.
I was worried about running into the directory files being locked.
We could just invoke Unlocker to do the delete. Or is there a more Java centric way to handle this situation?
Hi,
I have over 2000 HTML files that are now in Wordpress blog. I have the URL Map of Old_file.html and new wordpress URL.
I want 301 redirect but don't want to add 2000 lines to htaccess. Can you please suggest how to accomplish this using PHP so that when there is a request for old url, the php script should lookup into the database and redirect(301) to the new URL ?
Thanks.
The default methods for dealing with xml in c# seem incredibly crude to me, leading me to suspect that I must be missing something in my searches. What is considered the standard best practices to parse xml files in c#?
I've found out the hard way that my website can be hacked by passing a query string parameter that has many ../s to access files outside of the website directory, and then screw with the website.
Is there a way, perhaps through the php.ini, to not allow file includes outside of a certain root directory?
I have a list of directories
/home
/dir1
/dir2
...
/dir100
Some of them have no files in it. How can I use Unix find to do it?
I tried
find . -name "*" -type d -size 0
Doesn't seem to work.
