    Question http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1082474/authoring-html5-in-emacs talks about nxml-mode but, from what I read, that can only be used for XHTML5, I want to use emacs with HTML5 (no XML syntax). Is there any mode with auto-indentation, tag/attribute completion, etc.?

  • Why don't my groovy enums work, or even compile?

    I'm running Groovy Version: 1.7.0 JVM: 1.6.0_17 (Update -- I just upgraded to 1.7.1 and get the same errors!) I've tried to use enums, using the exact syntax from the groovy documentation, and each time I see the compile error: Groovy:The class java.lang.Enum refers to the class java.lang.Enum and uses 1 parameters, but the referred class takes no parameters Any ideas on what's going on?     I found this in some code examples while googling : $sql = 'INSERT INTO users (username,passwordHash) VALUES (?,?)'; it's new to me, but I would guess that it a substitution method and equivalent to $sql = "INSERT INTO users (username,passwordHash) VALUES ($username,$passwordHash)";` or $sql = 'INSERT INTO users (username,passwordHash) VALUES (' . $username . ',' . $passwordHash . ')';` would that be correct? Is it an actual PHP syntax, or was he just trying to simplify his example?

    I have a sequence of integers representing dice in F#. In the game in question, the player has a pool of dice and can choose to play one (governed by certain rules) and keep the rest. If, for example, a player rolls a 6, 6 and a 4 and decides to play one the sixes, is there a simple way to return a sequence with only one 6 removed? Seq.filter (fun x -> x != 6) dice removes all of the sixes, not just one.

    I have a url /embed?t=X and I want to redirect it to /page/embed/X where X is any number of alpha numeric characters. I know must redirect rules go the other way but for the purpose of the applciation I need to reverse it. Any ideas? I have tried things like: RedirectRule ^embed\?t\=([a-zA-Z0-9]+)$ /page/embed/$1 but with no luck.
