    I'm using SVN for a project, and for easy deployments to the server we're just using another SVN enlistment there. So I've been using Remote Desktop to log onto the server and then trigger an update (we use Tortoise SVN). Is there an existing tool (or SVN feature) that would allow me to trigger this update without logging on to the server and doing it manually?

  • Run a macro in all buffers in vim

    I know about the :bufdo command, and was trying to combine it with a macro I had recorded (@a) to add a #include in the proper spot of each of the header files I'd loaded. However, I couldn't find an easy way to run the macro on each buffer. Is there a way to execute a macro through ex mode, which is what :bufdo requires? Or is there another command I'm missing?

    Hi, Due to the lack of Deployment functionality of Visual Studio Express edition, I'm here asking if anyone can recommend a very nice free Deployment template for the express edition. I'm mainly working with C# desktop project. I know that there is still ClickOnce deployment in the Express edition, but it seems to me that it is not so difficult to control, which means, you do "click once", then the tool will give you a bunch of files out of my control, not so easy to maintain.     I am planning to make a web app which will eventually use Cassandra. But now that I don't have it and don't have server(s) to run it from, I'd like to start by using MySQL. The question is, is it possible to structure data and queries in such a way that it would be fairly easy to later port it to Cassandra? Main idea, I guess, would be writing MySQL queries that would be possible to change to same Cassandra queries. Maybe you have a better suggestion?

    I'm setting up an online ordering system but I'm in Australia and for international customers I'd like to show prices in US dollars or Euros so they don't have to make the mental effort to convert from Australian dollars. Does anyone know if I can pull up to date exchange rates off the net somewhere in an easy-to-parse format I can access from my PHP script ?   • Can't get the JSONP workin' with WCF Data Services...

    What am I missing here? It seems from all that I read and watched, exposing JSON from a WCF Data Service should be as easy as adding the '[JSONPSupportBehavior]' directive in front of the Service Class. Problem is VS2010 doesn't recognize 'JSONPSupportBehavior'. Is there a reference I am missing? Seemed like, from alll the articles, it was supportted outta the box. TIA S.

I don't find the database interface useful to search for logs and sometimes they don't even log(I might be wrong).     What do I have to do to disable all system pop-ups in WinCE 6 R2? I read Mike Hall's post about Kiosk mode [1] but that's not going to work for us because we still want the standard graphical Explorer shell.     I was wondering if there is easy solution to this or I'm stuck with following: When updating DB: dti.Pass = Crypter.Encrypt(dti.Pass); _db.SubmitChanges(); When selecting from DB: Data.DbTableItem dti = _db.Single(a=a.Id == id); dti.Pass = Crypter.Decrypt(dti.Pass); Meaning - I am not really into writing repetitive code and this seems like logical thing to be supported by LINQ; so I'm wondering if it is.
