MSSQL2008: DTC Transaction - Internal abort

Hi all, I write a small own replication - a trigger which fires an DTC INSERT to another server (one reason for my own "replication": while trigger is running it calculates some data, another: it works from an express version to an express version). When I do the initial insert from the same Host with the windows authentification it works fine. But there is a webserver on another host, which uses the sqlserver login (for testing sa). When this Host do the initial insert I get a Internal abort after the entlisting and creating phase in the DTCTransaction EventClass (Profiler). The magic is: When I first fire it from the same Host with the windows authentification, I can fire it from the webserver and it works fine. But I just have to wait some minutes and it won't work. Where is my error in reasoning... Thanks! How to migrate from SVN to GIT Locally

I'm working on a project that initially used Subversion, but the remote repository was removed and i don't want to use Subversion any more. I want to migrate it to git. There's a way to do it without the remote repository, keeping all revisions history (without doing a git init .)? I've already made a subversion to git migration with git-svn with no problems it on other projects, but they were on remote repository and i cannot find any info about migrating it locally.

git pull not working

I am not using github. We have git setup on our machine. I created a branch from master called experiment. And my local repository knows that it is out of date. Then why I am not able to do git pull?

I am having a bit of trouble with a select into insert across a dblink in oracle 10. I am using the following statement: INSERT INTO LOCAL.TABLE_1 ( COL1, COL2) SELECT COL1, COL2 FROM REMOTE.TABLE1@dblink s WHERE COL1 IN ( SELECT COL1 FROM WORKING_TABLE) When I run the statement the following is what gets run against the remote server on the DB Link: SELECT /*+ OPAQUE_TRANSFORM */ "COL1", "COL2" FROM "REMOTE"."TABLE1" "S" If I run the select only and do not do the insert into the following is run: SELECT /*+ */ "A1"."COL1" , "A1"."COL2" FROM "REMOTE"."TABLE1" "A1" WHERE "A1"."COL1" = ANY ( SELECT "A2"."COL1" FROM "LOCAL"."TABLE1"@! "A2") The issue is in the insert case the enitre table is being pulled across the dblink and then limited localy which takes a fair bit of time given the table size. Is there any reason adding the insert would change the behavior in this manner?

I am in the process of implementing the jqGrid and would like to be able to use the sorting functionality. I have run into some issues with sorting columns that are related to the base table. How to implement two way binding between an ActiveX control and a WPF MVVM View Model

I have a WPF application implemented using the MVVM framework that uses an ActiveX control and I need to keep the WPF and ActiveX UI synchronised. So far I can update the ActiveX UI when I change the WPF UI using the code at the bottom of the question that I got from the article Hosting an ActiveX Control in WPF and this question. But I cannot update the WPF UI when I make a change in the ActiveX UI. I suspect that I need to fire the PropertyChanged event from my ActiveX control but I have no idea how to do this or if it is even possible. The ActiveX controls I have written are in VB6 and MFC as I am just prototying at this time for the eventual integration of VB6 ActiveX controls in a WPF contaner application. I'm trying to import an already existing git repository with multiple branches and tags into gerrit. I'm following the official guide at https://gerrit-review.googlesource.com/Documentation/install-quick.html#_already_existing_project. However, when issuing the push command all the branches and tags, except "master" which I'm currently in, are "prohibited by Gerrit". The output is something like this: user@host:~/my-project$ git push ssh://user@localhost:29418/demo-project *:* [....] * [new branch] master -> master ! Hello, I am trying to figure out how to convert an "external relative path" to an absolute one: I'd really like a function that will do the following: $path = "/search?q=query"; $host = "http://google.com"; $abspath = reltoabs($host, $path); And have $abspath equal to "http://google.com/search?q=query" The problem is that it is not guaranteed to be in that format, and it could already be absolute, or be pointing to a different host entirely, and I'm not quite sure how to approach this. Installing Ruby Gems behind a Proxy

It appears this topic has been covered a few times before, but those solutions have only gotten me so far. I now have my sources properly updated and I am able to query for gems without an error but I keep getting empty results for my searches. I installed rubysspi and copied over the spa.rb file as mentioned in the readme. The readme also suggested using this line which did not work for me based on my install path: ruby -rspa 'C:\Program Files\ruby\gem' list --remote sspi So I switched it to my install directory off the root: ruby -rspa 'C:\ruby\gem' list --remote sspi But that also didn't work so a search for the gem file located it in the bin directory so this command finally worked for me: ruby -rspa 'C:\ruby\bin\gem' list --remote sspi But I got empty results back: *** REMOTE GEMS *** SO I tried other gems and had the same results. Then I listed my gem sources and rubygems is listed as expected. Am I missing something else? c:\ruby>gem sources *** CURRENT SOURCES *** http://rubygems.org

Need help configurating my Tomcat server without any WAR files

I just reinstalled my entire server, and now I can't seem to get my JSP-based website to work on Tomcat anymore. I use the same server.xml file, which worked perfectly before the reinstallation, but no longer. How to disable auto-generated WCF configuration

Every time my program runs vs adds the default configuration to my app.config file. At that run it works fine, but at the next run it actually tries to read the config. The problem is that the default configuration has errors, it adds the attribute "Address", but attritbutes are not allowed to have capitals so it throws an exception. This means I have to remove the bad section every run! I've tried to configure the .config but it gives errors. Hello! I am learning Qooxdoo framework and I am trying to make it work with a small Django web service. I have a confusing behaviour. I can't get any error into log file or screen. I made a file index.php with content like this: "<?php a();".Normally, I will get message like this: "Call to undefined function a()" but when I called this script on my configuration I got nothing. Only white screen and empty logs. I checked all rights. I turned on all possible log file. Nothing. Please help me. According to my last question about how to create folder here I find some codes that s.b before write it! looking : (sorry for limitation i cant put codes here) they try to Create a bat file,by oracle outfile text_IO,file_type then they write these statement! body_of_file = 'Net use x: \\address' body_of_file += 'md' || filename body_of_file += 'start '|| file name then open bat file and write inside it! then they call it by HOST!!!! like: Host('cmd /c \\address\.x.bat host_folder'|| sysdate); but they can easily and directly by calling HOST! and also I dont know why they code just can in oracle 6i!!!! we use 2 oracle 6i and 10g. please would you help me : 1- why this code dont work in 10g? 2- which way is better?create a batch file and create folder or use HOST for run each command?(in my Idea both is same,How about u?)

Converting from SQL Server 2000 to 2005 for ASP.NET web App

Hi there, I'm moving my ASP.NET website to a new provider. Only problem is, old host support my SQL Server 2000 db. New host only supports SQL Server 2005. How should I go about the conversion ? Can I simply produce a backup of the 2000 (.bak) file at the old host, and restore that file into SQL Server 2005 at the new host ? Or is there more to it ?? Note that I don't own a copy of SQL Server 2005 at home... and I'm trying to avoid having to do so. Thanks, Bazza
