I notice when I create a project template from an existing project in my solution, it does a semi-string replace to update references. However, it does not replace string literals. It does update my web.config file, but not code files. The project template: namespace MyTemplateProject { class MyClass { public string GetStringValue() { return "MyProjectTemplate"; } } } The generated code when used as a template: namespace MyActualNewProject { class MyClass { public string GetStringValue() { return "MyProjectTemplate"; } } } How can I instruct the template maker to replace "MyProjectTemplate" wih "MyActualNewProject"?

how to better use of eclipse code templates (PHP)?

One particular problem I was having was using ${word_selection} in an Eclipse PDT template. I was recently trying to use some code templates with Eclipse PDT 2.1 to speed up some common tasks. We use a lot of getters/setters, so I wrote the following template. function get${word_selection}() { return $$this->getData('${word_selection}'); } function set${word_selection}($$${word_selection}) { $$this->setData('${word_selection}', $$${word_selection}); } I named the template "getset" and the only way I know to use the Code Assist is to type: "getset" then hit my code assist keys (I have it set to Esc, but I think the default was Ctrl+Space). The problem is, this doesn't actually let me select a word to be used by the ${word_selection}. how do I type in my template name, hit the key combo, and have a word selected all at the same time? I also want to know what kinds of templates people have set up and any other tips for using templates to speed of programming.

Is the following possible in Silverlight when a button is clicked? An Excel template is downloaded from a remote server and saved to the local machine An instance of the template is then opened on the client A macro is then executed within the new Excel document I can do everything apart from saving the template to the local machine. I can save this in isolated storage but then I don’t know where this is when trying to open it from the Excel COM interop code. Has anyone any ideas or is this not possible?

If I'm not mistaken this should be as simple as: JdbcTemplate template = new JdbcTemplate(datasource); template.setFetchSize(1); // template.setFetchSize(Integer.MIN_VALUE) does not work either template.query("SELECT * FROM cdr", new RowCallbackHandler() { public void processRow(ResultSet rs) throws SQLException { System.out.println(rs.getString("src")); } }); I get an OutOfMemoryError because it is trying to read the whole thing. Any ideas?

Cannot load JRubyEngine because org.apache.bsf.util.BSFEngineImpl not found

Hi, I'm trying to use JRuby in a custom application, and I don't seem to be able to load the JRubyEngine object. If the data source's impersonation information is set to "use the service account", this error occures: Error 2 Internal error: The operation terminated unsuccessfully. 0 0 Error 3 OLE DB error: OLE DB or ODBC error: Login failed for user 'NT Service\MSSQLServerOLAPService'.; 28000. 0 0 Error 4 Errors in the high-level relational engine. A connection could not be made to the data source with the DataSourceID of 'Data Warehouse', Name of 'Data Warehouse'. 0 0 Error 5 Errors in the OLAP storage engine: An error occurred while the dimension, with the ID of 'Items', Name of 'Items' was being processed. 0 0 Error 6 Errors in the OLAP storage engine: An error occurred while the 'Id' attribute of the 'Items' dimension from the 'Warehouse_MultidimensionalProject_Cube' database was being processed. 0 0 Error 7 Server: The current operation was cancelled because another operation in the transaction failed. 0 0 I guessed that this account has no premissions but (1) I coudn't even add this account (it seems that it doesn't exist) and (2) how is that even possible for it to not have built-it poremissions? I'm trying to create a set of overloaded templates for arrays/pointers where one template will be used when the compiler knows the size of the array and the other template will be used when it doesn't: template <typename T, size_t SZ> void moo(T (&arr)[SZ]) { ... } template <typename T> void moo(T *ptr) { ... } The problem is that when the compiler knows the size of the array, the overloads are ambiguous and the compile fails. Is there some way to resolve the ambiguity (perhaps via SFINAE) or is this just not possible.

Mixins, variadic templates, and CRTP in C++

Here's the scenario: I'd like to have a host class that can have a variable number of mixins (not too hard with variadic templates--see for example http://citeseerx.ist.psu.edu/viewdoc/summary?doi=10.1.1.103.144). However, I'd also like the mixins to be parameterized by the host class, so that they can refer to its public types (using the CRTP idiom). need a near 100% uptime third-party web-accesible hosting for static web resources

I hope this makes sense: my business sells a website template, we currently have about 10,000 users. For various reasons that are unimportant to this question, I try to keep the file size of the zipped template we give them as small as possible. Because of this, I have taken a bunch of images and a couple of static files used by the template and moved them to external hosting. They are referenced by absolute URL in the css and markup, instead of shipping all of those images and files with every template. So, basically 10,000+ and growing users are requesting images and files from a third-party host. I don't use my own webhosting for this because I still kind of use a medium-cheap shared hosting for my website, and if it goes down, 10,000+ users are potentially effected. Currently I'm having the template directly access files inside of an open-source google-code project that I created for just this purpose. But, that seems like a bastardization of what a google-code repository is for, and plus, google code (i've found out) often spews 502 bad gateway errors for hours at a time. So, anyway, my question is: where is the right kind of place to host these? Obviously I'm willing to pay. My main needs are speed and uptime, since the images and files are being requested from thousands of different websites every day. Is this something that I should use Amazon S3 for? I'm guessing there's some kind of service exactly for this kind of need, but I'm at a loss to figure out what it is.

I'm working with the fulltext search engine of MSSQL 2008 which expects a search string like this: ("keyword1" AND "keyword2*" OR "keyword3") My users are entering things like this: engine 2009 "san francisco" hotel december xyz stuff* "in miami" 1234 something or "something else" I'm trying to transform these into fulltext engine compatible strings like these: ("engine" AND "2009") ("san francisco" AND "hotel" AND "december" AND "xyz") ("stuff*" "in miami" "1234") ("something" OR "something else") I have a really difficult time with this, tried doing it using counting quotation marks, spaces and inserting etc. but my code looks like horrible for-and-if vomit. In this case some workarounds are to simply inline the decltype(T() / U()), to give the point class a default constructor, or to use decltype on the full result expression, but I got this error while trying to simplify an error I was getting with a version of op_div that did not require a default constructor*, so I would rather fix my understanding of C++ rather than to just do what works. Spring webflow 1.0 - Downloading a file

I am using spring webflow 1.0. I am uploading a csv file, parsing it, and displying results before proceeding. The user has an option to download a csv file that contains the records that did not pass validation. When I click the link in a JSP to download this file, webflow invokes a form Action. The form action writes out a file via getting the output stream off the response: HttpServletResponse response = ((ServletExternalContext) context.getExternalContext()).getResponse(); I do not want to leave the jsp I'm currently on. I just want to download the file. In other words, I do not want to transition to another state. I just want to serve the dynamically rendered file. Static Access To Multiple Instance Variable

I have a singleton instance that is referenced throughout the project which works like a charm. It saves me the trouble from having to pass around an instance of the object to every little class in the project. However, now I need to manage multiple instances of the previous setup, which means that the singleton pattern breaks since each instance would need it's own singleton instance. What options are there to still maintain static access to the singleton? To be more specific, we have our game engine and several components and plugins reference the engine through a static property. Now our server needs to host multiple game instances each having their own engine, which means that on the server side the singleton pattern breaks. I'm trying to avoid all the classes having the engine in the constructor.

Explicitly instantiating a generic member function of a generic structure

I have a structure with a template parameter, Stream. Within that structure, there is a function with its own template parameter, Type. If I try to force a specific instance of the function to be generated and called, it works fine, if I am in a context where the exact type of the structure is known. If not, I get a compile error. This feels like a situation where I'm missing a typename, but there are no nested types. I suspect I'm missing something fundamental, but I've been staring at this code for so long all I see are redheads, and frankly writing code that uses templates has never been my forte. What is causing my HTTP server to fail with "exit status -1073741819"?

As an exercise I created a small HTTP server that generates random game mechanics, similar to this one. I wrote it on a Windows 7 (32-bit) system and it works flawlessly. However, when I run it on my home machine, Windows 7 (64-bit), it always fails with the same message: exit status -1073741819. I haven't managed to find anything on the web which references that status code, so I don't know how important it is. I have something like the following code: template<typename T1, typename T2, typename T3> void inc(T1& t1, T2& t2, T3& t3) { ++t1; ++t2; ++t3; } template<typename T1, typename T2> void inc(T1& t1, T2& t2) { ++t1; ++t2; } template<typename T1> void inc(T1& t1) { ++t1; } I'd like to reimplement it using the proposed variadic templates from the upcoming standard. However all the examples I've seen so far online seem to be printf like examples, the difference here seems to be the use of references. I've come up with the following: template<typename T> void inc(T&& t) { ++t; } template<typename T,typename ... Args> void inc(T&& t, Args&& ... args) { ++t inc(args...); } What I'd like to know is: Should I be using r-values instead of references? Possible hints or clues as to how to accomplish what I want correctly. What guarantees does the new proposed standard provide wrt the issue of the recursive function calls, is there some indication that the above variadic version will be as optimal as the original? (should I add inline or some-such?)

I copied the packageTmp over to the inetpub/wwwroot, then added a website and included it as my path installed the crystal report runtime,CRRuntime_32bit_13_0_4 but still did not work i also have crystalreportviewers13 folder in wwwroot/aspnet _client/systemweb/4_0_30319 this is the error I encountered when I go to the page with crystal report may i know where the path is defined?
