    I have a xml file which I want to transform in a jsf code page. Thanks! Update: Let me clarify what I want to do. I want to generate a jsf page dynamically depending on the attributes of a xml file, for instance, 2 input texts, 3 check boxes, etc. To make the transformation to jsf I thought in two approaches, one using jstl and another using xslt. The problem with the former is that I couldn't integrate jstl with jsf code (to set jsf components attributes using jstl variables) and with the last approach, I'm facing the problem described above.I wouldn't like to create components in java (UIComponents). Any suggestions?

  • ASP.net Literal or Page altering HTML string, causing formatting issues

    We have a service that generates a report (using word templates and a 3rd party library), and then returns a string in HTML. While this HTML isn't great - its formatted correctly in this string. We want this HTML to show up on a page - format intact. What we currently have done is set an ASP.net Literal's text element to this string. While this works, I have noticed that it has reformatted the HTML string slightly. For the most part, it looks like it generated a bunch of new CSS classes, and a new style element in the HTML. This HTML does not exist in the string thats being returned. I could filter all of this back out, but wonder if there is a better way. I assume that the Page itself is altering something. What is the best way to display this raw HTML back to the user? I can't directly use a Response.Write(string), because this page does have a few other controls on it.

  • Grouped items in Table view like the Mail app on the iPad

    Hello, I'm trying to figure out how to group items like the grouped mail boxes in the mail app. I need it to be like selecting a mail box, when you tap it it loads new data, your inbox outbox and all of the other boxes for that mail account. Then you can tap back and return to all of your accounts. If anyone has a little sample code they could show or explain how one might go about doing this any help is appreciated.   • Django: Determining if a user has voted or not

    I have a long list of links that I spit out using the below code, total votes, submitted by, the usual stuff but I am not 100% on how to determine if the currently logged in user has voted on a link or not. I know how to do this from within my view but do I need to alter my below view code or can I make use of the way templates work to determine it? I have read http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1528583/django-vote-up-down-method but I don't quite understand what's going on ( and don't need any ofjavascriptery).     C++ developers, all know the basics of C++: Declarations, conditionals, loops, operators, etc. Some of us even mastered the stuff like templates, object model, complex I/O, etc. But what are the most hidden features or tricks or dark corners of C++/STL that even C++ fans, addicts, and experts barely know? I am talking about a seasoned C++ programmer (be she/he a developer, student, fan, all three, etc), who thinks (s)he knows something 99% of us never heard or dreamed about. Something that not only makes his/her work easier, but also cool and hackish. After all, C++ is one of the most used programming languages in the world, thus it should have intricacies that only a few privileged know about and want to share with us. Boost is welcome too! One per post with an example please P.S Examples are important for other developers to copy and paste!

    Hello - I am working on in installer project that needs to gather some info and act on it during the install (mainly online key retreival and registration). The Setup Project UserInterface templates seem inflexible and poorly documented so I am looking at opening a WinForm as a Custom Action. I know this is possible because I see reference to it in many places but this is my first Windows Installer experience and so far it is mired in googled contradictions, partial or outdated information and guesswork... erg.... Does anyone have (even a pointer to) a clear concise description of how one gets this done in a VS 2008 WinForm project... Many thanks for inputs

  • PHP Include Not Working on One Page

    So, I finally got the PHP include function to work by tweaking the .htaccess file yesterday. The index shows up perfectly. But get this, I duplicate the index.html file, rename it and upload it as another page (as a template to work from) and now the PHP include function is not working on that page, even though it's exactly the same code hosted on the same server with the same .htaccess file.     I know that app config is used to provide environmental type of values for process variables. And it is very much key/value oriented. But I have a process (windows service) that uses a skeleton xml template file to produce a fuller version of that file after processesing. What about the idea of including that 'skeleton xml' in the app config file? I am trying to aviod having a standalone xml skeleton file, since it is 'configuration' related, in a way.

I don't know but i always seem to get confused i.e. lack of documentation etc..... but is this the same as Prism?? If not can anyone tell me where the differences are... It appears to be a link for designing smartclient so i presume its composite Or am i wrong? If i am indeed wrong, where is the link to prism and the vs 2010 templates?   • Display archive posts in Wordpress

    I am looking to display archives pages as a normal posts page... So, a posts page with a secondary navigation showing: Latest posts / Last month / Last year / Older On each of those pages, I would like to display a summary of each post just like the standard latest news page. When you click through you get to the full post. For each of menu items I have created seperate page templates such as archives_month.php, Then in the template instead of using For the LAST MONTH page. But I now cannot use this for LAST YEAR and OLDER posts. Can anyone help me? I've looked into a number of different ways to do it but on some blogs it's not clear and most people just retrieve a list of archives rather than displaying the posts. Thanks in advance. Mel

  • Import text file crunching library for Java/Groovy ?

    In a lot of real life implementations of applications we face the requirement to import some kind of (text) files. Usually we would implement some (hardcoded?) logic to validate the file (eg. proper header, proper number of delimiters, proper date/time value,etc.). Eventually also need to check for the existence of related data in a table (eg. value of field 1 in text file must have an entry in some basic data table). While XML solves this (to some extend) with XSD and DTD, we end up hacking this again and again for proprietary text file formats. Is there any library or framework that allows the creation of templates similar to the xsd approach ? This would make it way more flexible to react on file format changes or implement new formats.     I'm trying to use boto as a downloaded library, rather than installing it globally on my machine. I'm able to import boto, but when I run boto.connect_dynamodb() I get an error: ImportError: No module named dynamodb.layer2 Here's my file structure: project/ project/ __init__.py libraries/ __init__.py flask/ boto/ views/ .... modules/ __init__.py db.py .... templates/ .... static/ .... runserver.py And the contents of the relevant files as follows: project/project/modules/db.py from project.libraries import boto conn = boto.connect_dynamodb( aws_access_key_id='<YOUR_AWS_KEY_ID>', aws_secret_access_key='<YOUR_AWS_SECRET_KEY>') What am I doing wrong?   • SubSonic 3.0 - Save method with all columns as parameters?

    Hi, Just getting started with SubSonic. I'm using the Repository pattern, so my domain objects are totally seperate, and SubSonic-generated classes are used only in my data access layer. I'm wondering if a template exists that will give me a Save method (Insert/Update) that requires all table column values as parameters. My thinking is that since I need to do the mapping work manually, at least if my database schema changes (ie, a new column is added), I won't forget to add a corresponding mapping, since the auto-generated method signature would change and the compiler would catch it. I've considered messing with the T4 templates to add this feature, but thought I'd check if this already exists somewhere before I head down that path. Thanks in advance.

The current behavior is such that all fields that is in list_editable displays a form field. However, i would like to change that only when people click on the field would it turn into a editable form field. Twiki and Foswiki have a problem that any authenticated user that has write permissions for a topic also have the write to change the particualar permissions for the topic.
