    I'm looking for any documentation or definitive information on Ableton's warp feature. I understand that it has something to do with finding transients, aligning them with an even rhythm and shifting audio samples accordingly. I'm hoping to find ways to approximate warping with more basic audio editing tools. I understand that this is ableton's unique device, really any information about how it works would be helpful.     I know at some point I'd come across a Google service built into their API that would provide local information as markers on the viewport (schools, hospitals, etc.)-- I believe this was a simple control that could be added just like the normal map controls, to allow users to turn it on or off with a checkbox or button. I can't seem to find this feature documented anywhere in the v3.0 API docs. Can anyone provide some information on this, or let me know if it was deprecated? Thanks

  • How to determine expected license serial number by viewing an EXE File?

    I was attempting to install an exe that requires a serial number before the install, which the vendor has not provided to us yet. This got my wheels turning about whether there is any information that can be gained from viewing an exe using a hex editor/VI/etc? Using VI to view an exe, I can see some sections of plain text, but it is difficult to determine what it refers to without any context around it. Is it possible to determine any information by reading an exe? Thanks

I'm trying to create a view that you would just input information into a form and press Submit, then a row would be added to the MySQL database with the information you just typed in. I believe you can do this with admin, but I would like to try without admin and I'm not sure if this is possible? I've been using the MySQL commandline to add rows as of now..

    If I'm using a canvas to display data and I want the user to be able to click on various items on the canvas in order to get more information or interact with it in some way, whats the best way of going about this? Searching online I can find information about how to bind events to tags but that seems to be more indirect then what I want. I don't want to group items with tags, but rather have specific function calls when the user clicks specific items on the canvas.

    Hi, A question regarding the HtmlUnit java libary: I've created a log on my server, and noticed that the click() method doesn't pass the "referral" information when it is invoked through a "HtmlElement" or "HtmlArea". when invoked through the more commonly used HtmlAnchor- the refferral information is passed. This is strange since HtmlAnchor is a Subclass of HtmlElement Thanks for the help

    So what I am trying to do is make an application (just for fun, not a lot of purpose), where when you launch it a interface comes up consisting of Username: textboxhere Password: textbox2here then a connect button, and when you fill out your information in the textboxs' then click Connect, it navigates to facebook.com and puts in your information that you defined in the textbox and logs you in.     I've created a login page and registration page and now I want to use that to password protect pages and have pages which show information specific to that user. Would storing the user ID of the user logged in in a Session variable be a safe and correct way of doing this? How easy would it be for a user to change the session variable to a different ID and access another user's information, and not having to type the users login details in?
