  I use the command line sqlite3 executable to check queries I make from my code. Is there a way to read in pragma statements or other session setup (".mode csv" for example) when the executable starts up? I know I can do a ".read " once I'm in, but that's tedious.

  Hi guys, I am parsing command line options in Perl using Getopt::Long. I am forced to use prefix - (one dash) for short commands (-s) and -- (double dash) for long commands (ex. --input=file), but problem is, that there is one special option (-r=) so it is long option for its requirement for argument, but it has to have one dash (-) prefix not double dash (--) like other long options. Is possible to setup Getopt::Long to accept these?

  I've been working on a small and simple program that i drop files onto and based on certian rules they are moved to diffrent places. the program works fine unless i drop more than a few files on the program then it kicks back an error (that appears to be more windows than anything) that the start up command c:\myapp.exe \file \file \file is to long I realize i could set up a background proccess but i really would prefer that this program not run in the backround (where it would be idle 99.999999999% of the time) Can anyone think of any way around this limitation?
