  I'm trying to use xvpviewer (based on TightVNC) to VNC into my VMs running on Citirx XenServer. There are a couple of caveats required with trusting the certificate from XenServer which I've got working. The table is ajax. I guess i need to change the display style for every cell but i don't know how. • SQL Structure of DB table with different types of columns

  I have a problem with the optimization of the structure of the database. I'll try to explain it exactly. I create a project, where we can add different values??, but this values must have different types of the columns in the database (eg, int, double , varchar). What is the best way to store the different types of values ??in the database. In the project I'm using Propel 1.6. The point is availability to add value with 'int', 'varchar' and other columns types, to search the table was efficient. In total, I have two ideas. The first is to create a table of "value", which will have columns: "id ", "value_int", "value_double", "value_varchar", etc - with the corresponding column types. Depending on the type of values??, records will be saved with the value in the appropriate column (the rest will be NULL). The second solution is to create separate tables such as "value_int", "value_varchar" etc. There would be columns: "id", "value", which correspond to the relevant types of "value" (ie, such as int, varchar, etc). I must admit that I do not believe any of the above solutions, originally I was thinking about one table "value", where the column would be a "text" type - but this solution would probably be even worse. I would like to know your opinion on this topic, maybe something else would be better. Thanks in advance. EDIT: For example : We have three tables: USER: [table of users] * id * name FIELD: [table of profile fields - where the column 'type' is the type of field, eg int or varchar) * id * type * name VALUE : * id * User_id - ( FK user.id ) * Field_id - ( FK field.id ) * value So we have in each row an user in USER table, and the profile is stored in the VALUE table. Bit each profile field may have a different type (column 'type' in the FIELD table), and based on that I would want this value to add to the appropriate column of the appropriate type.

My next thought was to modify my generator rule and use the eps() generator together with a condition but here i got stuck: value_rule = (eps( ... ) << bool_) | (eps( ... ) << double_); I'm unable to fill the brackets of the eps generator with sth. like this (of course not working): eps(value.type() == BoolType) I've tried to get into boost::phoenix, but my brain seems not to be ready for things like this.   Hello, I'm using a PHP script that dynamically generates transparent PNGs for use as CSS backgrounds from a query string that takes RGBa and HSLa values. The original script can be found here, I've only added HSLa support. Because background URLs with PHP query strings aren't very pretty, and because it seems to break the IE 6 transparent PNG hack, I thought of using mod_rewrite to allow the script to be called when a .png with this syntax is called : /assets/colors/h[0-360 value]_s[0-100 value]_l[0-100 value]_a[0-100 value].png which would be rewritten to : /assets/colors.php?h=[0-360 value]&s=[0-100 value]&l=[0-100 value]&a=[0-100 value] Here's the issues I'm encountering : passing multiple variables with mod_rewrite using an underscore as a delimiter I know this could be done by passing a single variable and then exploding it in the PHP script, however I would prefer it to be done by Apache. While debugging I can see that I am creating the columns and setting them to the dataGrid and creating and setting the dataProvider, but for some reason I am able to see the dataGrid and the columns but not the data. • Why pass by const reference instead of by value?

  From what I understand: when you pass by value, the function makes a local copy of the passed argument and uses that; when the function ends, it goes out of scope. When you pass by const reference, the function uses a reference to the passed argument that can't be modified. I don't understand, however, why one would choose one over the other, except in a situation where an argument needs to be modified and returned. If you had a void function where nothing is getting returned, why choose one over the other?

  I am having some issues writing a Macro to do the following. I have a very long list of rooms with two columns one containing the room number i.e. B-CL102 and the other containing a varying integer.I am looking to create a new column that will contain another different integer for each of the rooms. Is there any way to write a Macro so that I can use two control cells at the top of the sheet, type the room number into one and the integer matching that room into another, then run the Macro and it will automatically populate the correct cell. Then I can change the two values in the control cells and run the Macro again and so on. Thanks for your help, I have a very minimal amount of experience with Macros essentially just the basics. Firstly, is this even possible, and secondly (if that's not possible), could I create a .reg file and execute that file from with the .cmd file?   Let's say I have a grammar defined to something like: a b c d where c, and d are optional and default to 14 if not given. Can I get it to automatically return the 14 if the value isn't given? The closest I've come is like the following: qi::rule<Iterator, std::vector<int>(), ascii::space_type> some_rule; some_rule %= >> int_ >> int_ >> -int_ >> -int_; // ... some_other_rule = some_rule[&some_callback_for_int_vectors]; which will then get 0 for the optional values that didn't show up (I believe). I then change consecutive 0s at the end into 14. Not only is this horribly wrong, but its also just not elegant. Is there a better way to do this?

• VS 2010 Debugger: Any way to search an object for a particular value?

  I am trying to search the "this" object in an ASP.NET MVC 2 for a string value. In a view, I set the partial view input tag prefix and am trying to figure out how to reference it in the partial view itself. For example: Html.EditorFor(m => m, "templateName", "fieldPrefix"); In the partial view, I would like to search the "this" object for my fieldPrefix string to see where the MVC folks decided to store it. Any ideas?

• Version resource in DLL not visible with right-click

  I'm trying to do something which is very easy to do in the regular MSVC, but not supported easily in VC++ Express. There is no resource editor in VC++ Express. So I added a file named version.rc into my DLL project. The file has the below content, which is compiled by the resource compiler and added to the final DLL. This resource is viewable in the DLL using reshacker, though not when right-clicking the DLL in Windows Explorer. What is missing from my RC file to make it appear when right-clicking?
