  • 'System.Windows.Data.MultiBinding' is not a valid value for property 'Text'.

    - by chaiguy
    I'm trying to write a custom MarkupExtension that allows me to use my own mechanisms for defining a binding, however when I attempt to return a MultiBinding from my MarkupExtension I get the above exception. I have: <TextBlock Text="{my:CustomMarkup ...}" /> CustomMarkup returns a MultiBinding, but apparently Text doesn't like being set to a MultiBinding. How come it works when I say: <TextBlock> <TextBlock.Text> <MultiBinding ... /> </TextBlock.Text> </TextBlock> But it doesn't work the way I'm doing it?

  • Last Grid Column Not Auto Resizing With Grid

    - by photo_tom
    I'm having a problem with my TextBoxs not "Auto" resizing. I'm trying to create a form that behaves and looks like the Properties Editor in Visual Studio. What appears to be happening is that the third column is not expanding to fill all of the available remaining space in the grid. Image below is how my form looks on startup. The width of the textboxs is determined by the MinWidth setting on the third ColumnDefinition statement. Also, the Width is set to "*". With any other setting, the resizing done with the GridSplitter doesn't work correctly. <StackPanel Orientation="Vertical" VerticalAlignment="Top" x:Name="Stacker" Grid.IsSharedSizeScope="True"> <Expander x:Name="Expand" IsExpanded="True" Header="This is a test of a Second Panel" Width="{Binding Width, ElementName=Stacker}"> <Grid x:Name="EditGrid1" Margin="3" > <Grid.RowDefinitions> <RowDefinition Height="Auto" /> <RowDefinition Height="Auto" /> <RowDefinition Height="Auto" /> <RowDefinition Height="Auto" /> <RowDefinition Height="Auto" /> <RowDefinition Height="Auto" /> <RowDefinition Height="Auto" /> </Grid.RowDefinitions> <Grid.ColumnDefinitions> <ColumnDefinition Width="Auto" MinWidth="50" SharedSizeGroup="SharedSize1" /> <ColumnDefinition Width="Auto" SharedSizeGroup="SharedSize2" /> <ColumnDefinition Width="*" MinWidth="50" x:Name="ValueCol" /> </Grid.ColumnDefinitions> <GridSplitter Grid.Column="1" x:Name="ToolBoxSplitter1" Grid.Row="1" Grid.RowSpan="6" Panel.ZIndex="1" HorizontalAlignment="Stretch" ResizeBehavior="PreviousAndNext" Width="3"/> <TextBlock MaxHeight="40" Grid.Column="0" Grid.Row="1" Text="{x:Static lex:DoSomeThingView.Name}" /> <TextBlock MaxHeight="40" Grid.Column="0" Grid.Row="2" Text="{x:Static lex:DoSomeThingView.Address}" /> <TextBlock MaxHeight="40" Grid.Column="0" Grid.Row="3" Text="{x:Static lex:DoSomeThingView.Zip}" /> <TextBlock MaxHeight="40" Grid.Column="0" Grid.Row="4" Text="{x:Static lex:DoSomeThingView.NumberOfDoors}" TextTrimming="CharacterEllipsis" Grid.IsSharedSizeScope="True" /> <TextBlock MaxHeight="40" Grid.Column="0" Grid.Row="5" Text="{x:Static lex:DoSomeThingView.DoubleNumber}" /> <TextBox Grid.Column="2" Grid.Row="1" x:Name="UserName1" MaxHeight="50" TextWrapping="Wrap" VerticalScrollBarVisibility="Auto" SpellCheck.IsEnabled="True" /> <TextBox Grid.Column="2" Grid.Row="2" x:Name="Address1" /> <TextBox Grid.Column="2" Grid.Row="3" x:Name="Zip1" /> <TextBox Grid.Column="2" Grid.Row="4" x:Name="NumberOfDoors1" /> <TextBox Grid.Column="2" Grid.Row="5" x:Name="DoubleNumber1" /> </Grid> </Expander> </StackPanel> Any suggestions on how to correct this?

  • Binding a property to change the listbox items foreground individually for each item

    - by Eyal-Shilony
    I'm trying to change the foreground color of the items in the ListBox individually for each item, I've already posted a similar question but this one is more concrete. I hoped that the state of the color is reserved for each item added to the ListBox, so I tried to create a property (in this case "HotkeysForeground"), bind it and change the color when the items are added in the "HotkeyManager_NewHotkey" event, the problem it's changing the foreground color for all the items in the ListBox. How can I do that per item ? Here is the ViewModel I use. namespace Monkey.Core.ViewModel { using System; using System.Collections.ObjectModel; using System.Windows.Media; using Monkey.Core.SystemMonitor.Accessibility; using Monkey.Core.SystemMonitor.Input; public class MainWindowViewModel : WorkspaceViewModel { private readonly FocusManager _focusManager; private readonly HotkeyManager _hotkeyManager; private readonly ObservableCollection<string> _hotkeys; private Color _foregroundColor; private string _title; public MainWindowViewModel() { _hotkeys = new ObservableCollection<string>(); _hotkeyManager = new HotkeyManager(); _hotkeyManager.NewHotkey += HotkeyManager_NewHotkey; _focusManager = new FocusManager(); _focusManager.Focus += FocusManager_Focus; } public Color HotkeysForeground { get { return _foregroundColor; } set { _foregroundColor = value; OnPropertyChanged(() => HotkeysForeground); } } public ReadOnlyObservableCollection<string> Hotkeys { get { return new ReadOnlyObservableCollection<string>(_hotkeys); } } public string Title { get { return _title; } set { _title = value; OnPropertyChanged(() => Title); } } protected override void OnDispose() { base.OnDispose(); _hotkeyManager.Dispose(); _focusManager.Dispose(); } private void FocusManager_Focus(object sender, FocusManagerEventArgs e) { Title = e.Title; } private void HotkeyManager_NewHotkey(object sender, EventArgs eventArgs) { HotkeysForeground = _hotkeys.Count <= 2 ? Colors.Blue : Colors.Brown; _hotkeys.Clear(); foreach (var hotkey in _hotkeyManager.GetHotkeys()) { _hotkeys.Add(hotkey); } } } } Here is the view. <Window x:Class="Monkey.View.MainWindow" xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation" xmlns:x="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml" xmlns:System="clr-namespace:System;assembly=mscorlib" Title="{Binding Mode=OneWay, Path=Title, UpdateSourceTrigger=PropertyChanged}" Height="200" Width="200" ShowInTaskbar="False" WindowStyle="ToolWindow" Topmost="True" ResizeMode="CanResizeWithGrip" AllowsTransparency="False"> <Window.Resources> <SolidColorBrush Color="{Binding HotkeysForeground}" x:Key="HotkeysBrush"/> </Window.Resources> <ListBox Canvas.Left="110" Canvas.Top="74" Name="HotkeyList" Height="Auto" Width="Auto" HorizontalContentAlignment="Left" BorderThickness="0" ScrollViewer.CanContentScroll="False" ScrollViewer.HorizontalScrollBarVisibility="Disabled" ScrollViewer.VerticalScrollBarVisibility="Disabled" ItemsSource="{Binding Path=Hotkeys}" VerticalAlignment="Stretch" VerticalContentAlignment="Center" FontSize="20"> <ListBox.ItemContainerStyle> <Style TargetType="ListBoxItem"> <Setter Property="IsEnabled" Value="False" /> </Style> </ListBox.ItemContainerStyle> <ListBox.ItemTemplate> <DataTemplate> <Label Content="{Binding}" Foreground="{StaticResource HotkeysBrush}"/> </DataTemplate> </ListBox.ItemTemplate> </ListBox> </Window> Thank you in advance.

  • How can I control the width of JTextFields in Java Swing?

    - by Jonas
    I am trying to have several JTextFields on a single row, but I don't want them to have the same width. How can I control the width and make some of them wider than others? I want that they together take up 100% of the total width, so it would be good if I could use some kind of weigthing. I have tried with .setColumns() but it doesn't make sense. Here is my code: class Row extends JComponent { public Row() { this.setLayout(new BoxLayout(this, BoxLayout.X_AXIS)); JTextField fld1 = new JTextField("First field"); JTextField fld2 = new JTextField("Second field, should be longer"); JTextField fld3 = new JTextField("Short field"); JTextField fld4 = new JTextField("Another field"); fld1.setBorder(null); fld2.setBorder(null); fld3.setBorder(null); fld4.setBorder(null); fld1.setFocusable(false); fld2.setFocusable(false); fld3.setFocusable(false); fld4.setFocusable(false); fld1.setColumns(5); // makes no sense this.add(fld1); this.add(fld2); this.add(fld3); this.add(fld4); } } this.setLayout(new GridLayout(20,0)); this.add(new Row()); this.add(new Row()); this.add(new Row());

  • CSS DIV not expanding when more text is added

    - by decbrad
    Hi there... I have a quick CSS question, i'm hoping that somebody can help me out! I have a DIV called #ContentPanel and I want it to be able to expand so that it can cater for more text if needed. At the moment if the text is longer than 500px (as specified in the CSS) it flows out the bottom and over the content in the div below. How can I set it up to auto expand and push all divs after downwards. If anybody has any ideas, please let me know Here's the HTML <div id="MainContent"> <div id="MainImage"></div> <div id="ContentPanel">Text content goes here.</div> </div> ...and here's the CSS #MainContent { position:relative; height:500px; width:800px; margin:0 auto; background-color: #000; } #MainImage { position:absolute; top:0; left:0; width:350px; height:500px; background-color:#000; } #ContentPanel { position:absolute; height:500px; top:0; left:350px; width:450px; background-color:#000; } Thanks in advance! Kind regards, Decbrad

  • Win32 API Programming - Is it worth ?

    - by nXqd
    Now I code win32 api windows explorer . But it seems quite hard to me.I've a month to do it. But through the time I code, I wonder is it worth that I code win32 api ? . When we can create GUI easily with MFC or even easier with C#. What should I do ? 1- Keep coding with win32 api to deeply understand about them. 2- Just learn and code some programs to understand how they work. Can you determine how many time does it take in each choice ( or how many projects ). Thx for reading, as a 2nd student of IT University I really want your advice in this. My purpose is becoming a good and effective programmer :) PS: recommended books are really appreciated.

  • Native ComboBox not displaying choices correctly

    - by anothershrubery
    EDIT: It seems that ListPicker is the way to go but I have had further problems with that detailed Microsoft.Phone.Controls.Toolkit ListPicker throws XamlParseException I have the following ComboBox in code: <ComboBox x:Name="Result" Grid.Column="6" HorizontalAlignment="Center" VerticalAlignment="Center" Foreground="Black" Background="White"> <ComboBoxItem Content="Win" /> <ComboBoxItem Content="Place" /> <ComboBoxItem Content="Lose" /> </ComboBox> But it does not display as I would have expected. When you drop down the ComboBox the options don't appear, it's just like empty items. See below: However, when an item is selected, it displays correctly and the correct index/item is returned. See below: I'm sure there is something simple I have missed but can't put my finger on it. EDIT: Ok I am posting the full code for this. I have a user control, OddsRow, that looks like this: <UserControl xmlns:toolkit="clr-namespace:Microsoft.Phone.Controls;assembly=Microsoft.Phone.Controls.Toolkit" x:Class="MojoPinBetOddsCalculator.OddsRow" xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation" xmlns:x="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml" xmlns:d="http://schemas.microsoft.com/expression/blend/2008" xmlns:mc="http://schemas.openxmlformats.org/markup-compatibility/2006" mc:Ignorable="d" FontFamily="{StaticResource PhoneFontFamilyNormal}" FontSize="{StaticResource PhoneFontSizeNormal}" Foreground="{StaticResource PhoneForegroundBrush}" d:DesignHeight="480" d:DesignWidth="480"> <Grid x:Name="LayoutRoot" Background="{StaticResource PhoneChromeBrush}"> <Grid.RowDefinitions> <RowDefinition Height="70"/> </Grid.RowDefinitions> <Grid.ColumnDefinitions> <ColumnDefinition Width="50*"></ColumnDefinition> <ColumnDefinition Width="70*"></ColumnDefinition> <ColumnDefinition Width="30*"></ColumnDefinition> <ColumnDefinition Width="70*"></ColumnDefinition> <ColumnDefinition Width="70*"></ColumnDefinition> <ColumnDefinition Width="70*" ></ColumnDefinition> <ColumnDefinition Width="100*"></ColumnDefinition> </Grid.ColumnDefinitions> <TextBlock x:Name="RowNumber" Grid.Column="0" VerticalAlignment="Center" HorizontalAlignment="Center"></TextBlock> <TextBox x:Name="OddsNumerator" Grid.Column="1" Width="90" Height="70" HorizontalAlignment="Center" TextAlignment="Center" VerticalAlignment="Center" MaxLength="3" InputScope="TelephoneNumber"></TextBox> <TextBlock x:Name="Slash" Grid.Column="2" Text="/" HorizontalAlignment="Center" VerticalAlignment="Center"></TextBlock> <TextBox x:Name="OddsDenominator" Grid.Column="3" Width="90" Height="70" VerticalAlignment="Center" TextAlignment="Center" MaxLength="3" HorizontalAlignment="Center" InputScope="TelephoneNumber"></TextBox> <CheckBox x:Name="EachWay" Grid.Column="4" VerticalAlignment="Center" HorizontalAlignment="Center" Margin="10,0,0,0" /> <CheckBox x:Name="Place" Grid.Column="5" HorizontalAlignment="Center" VerticalAlignment="Center" BorderThickness="0" Width="71" Margin="10,0,0,0" Padding="0" /> <ComboBox x:Name="Result" Grid.Column="6" HorizontalAlignment="Center" VerticalAlignment="Center" Foreground="Black" Background="White"> <ComboBoxItem Content="Win" /> <ComboBoxItem Content="Place" /> <ComboBoxItem Content="Lose" /> </ComboBox> </Grid> </UserControl> And it is displayed in the MainPage like so: <phone:PhoneApplicationPage xmlns:my="clr-namespace:MojoPinBetOddsCalculator" x:Class="MojoPinBetOddsCalculator.MainPage" xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation" xmlns:x="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml" xmlns:phone="clr-namespace:Microsoft.Phone.Controls;assembly=Microsoft.Phone" xmlns:shell="clr-namespace:Microsoft.Phone.Shell;assembly=Microsoft.Phone" xmlns:d="http://schemas.microsoft.com/expression/blend/2008" xmlns:mc="http://schemas.openxmlformats.org/markup-compatibility/2006" mc:Ignorable="d" d:DesignWidth="480" d:DesignHeight="768" FontFamily="{StaticResource PhoneFontFamilyNormal}" FontSize="{StaticResource PhoneFontSizeNormal}" Foreground="{StaticResource PhoneForegroundBrush}" SupportedOrientations="Portrait" Orientation="Portrait" shell:SystemTray.IsVisible="True"> <!--LayoutRoot is the root grid where all page content is placed--> <Grid x:Name="LayoutRoot" Background="Transparent"> <Grid.RowDefinitions> <RowDefinition Height="Auto"/> <RowDefinition Height="*"/> </Grid.RowDefinitions> <!--TitlePanel contains the name of the application and page title--> <StackPanel x:Name="TitlePanel" Grid.Row="0" Margin="12,17,0,28"> <TextBlock x:Name="ApplicationTitle" Text="BET ODDS CALCULATOR" Style="{StaticResource PhoneTextNormalStyle}"/> <TextBlock x:Name="PageTitle" Text="calculate" Margin="9,-7,0,0" Style="{StaticResource PhoneTextTitle1Style}"/> </StackPanel> <!--ContentPanel -   • Set binding for DataTemplate components in code

    - by Chouppy
    Hi; sorry if I'm not clear, it's not really clear in my head too (especially after trying to find my way in other posts :p) What I'm willing to do is creating DataGrids in code, with zero to numerous columns containing a button, which will call one same function but with a "parameter" (different for each column). Here is what I got so far : DataGrid created in code DataTemplate defined in the xaml resources (with a button) DataGridTemplateColumn which uses the above DataTemplate Is it possible to bind the button's properties (in the DataTemplate), to the DataGridTemplateColumn properties (in my case, the column header would be ok), and how? Is there a way to get an access to the DataTemplate components (the button for example) in code, and modify their properties? Is it possible (and not hazardous) to create a DataTemplate in code? I declared mine in xaml because I found a post advising to do so instead of code. Thanks for your help.

  • Reference for good Android UI design patterns.

    - by sat
    Hi, I would like to get some links for getting started with design patterns.My requirement is , (at Initial stage) How to go about developing a particular pattern , say customized ListView which can be shared across applications . e.g. Applications will call something like drawCustomizedListView(params...) and my code will draw the listview according to the parameters supplied. This is particularly useful when across the applications I have to draw customized views. My intention is, I should not repeat the same code everywhere for doing similar task. Any references for the above requirement ?

  • How to handle a DataTemplate creation

    - by Shimmy
    Hello! Take a look at the following xaml: <ListBox ItemsSource="{Binding}"> <ListBox.Resources> <CollectionViewSource x:Key="CVS"/> </ListBox.Resources> <ListBox.DataTemplate> <DataTemplate OnBinding="myBinding"> <ListBox DataContext="{StaticResource CVS}" ItemsSource="{Binding}" /> </DataTemplate> </ListBox.DataTemplate> </ListBox> So I can handle the binding and manually retrieve the CVS and set its Source property to my custom stuff according to the DataTemplate's DataContext. Or else there is a different way in doing it. Any ideas are welcommed!

  • Positioning element under another

    - by Cedar Jensen
    I am not an expert web-dev so please bear with me here. I would like to display a banner style header for a page with the top part taken up by an image that is 275x116 and then a horizontal menu bar (styled using ul items) appearing at 70% from the top of the banner. How would I set this up so that the banner appears underneath my navigation? Currently, a portion of the left side of my menu bar sits underneath the image but I'd like it to be the opposite so the menu bar is above the image, some thing like this: ============= <start of header> =========== -------- | img | | | | Horizontal menu | | -------- ============= <end of header> =========== My css: #header { background-color: green; border: 0; margin: 0; padding: 0; overflow: hidden; width: 100%; height: 120px; } #logo { background: green url(images/logo.png) no-repeat scroll 0 0; margin: 0px 0px; border: 1px solid white; left: 20px; top: 20px; width: 275px; height: 116px; position: absolute; z-index: -1000; } .container { border:1px solid grey; margin-left:auto; margin-right:auto; width:960px; } My Html: <body> <div id="header"> <div id="logo"> </div> <div class="container" id="primaryNavbar"> <ul> <li><a href="#">Home</a></li> <li><a href="#">Books</a></li> <li><a href="#">Shows</a></li> <li><a href="#">Movies</a></li> </ul> <div class="clear">&nbsp;</div> </div> <!-- end of container --> </div> <!-- end of header --> </body> I thought that setting the position to "absolute" for the logo element and adding in a very low z-index would achieve this but that isn't the case here. Any suggestions?

  • How to set the RelativeSource in a DataTemplate that is nested in a HierarchicalDataTemplate?

    - by Dabblernl
    I have the following XAML, that does all that it is supposed to, except that the MultiBinding on the FontSize fails on retrieving the Users. As you can see Users is an IEnumerable<UserData> that is part of the HierarchicalDataTemplate's DataContext. How do I reference it?? <TreeView Name="AllGroups" ItemsSource="{Binding}" > <TreeView.Resources> <HierarchicalDataTemplate DataType="{x:Type PrivateMessengerUI:GroupContainer}" ItemsSource="{Binding Users}" > <Label Content="{Binding GroupName}"/> </HierarchicalDataTemplate> <DataTemplate DataType="{x:Type PrivateMessenger:UserData}"> <TextBlock Text="{Binding Username}" ToolTip="{StaticResource UserDataGroupBox}" Name="GroupedUser" MouseDown="GroupedUser_MouseDown"> <TextBlock.FontSize> <MultiBinding Converter="{StaticResource LargeWhenIAmSelected}"> <Binding ElementName="Root" Path="SelectedUser"/> <Binding RelativeSource="???" Path="DataContext.Users"/> </MultiBinding> </TextBlock.FontSize> </TextBlock> </DataTemplate> </TreeView.Resources> </TreeView>

  • Is there an MVVM-friendly way to swap views without value converters firing unnecessarily?

    - by DanM
    I thought what I was doing was right out of the Josh Smith MVVM handbook, but I seem to be having a lot of problems with value converters firing when no data in the view-model has changed. So, I have a ContentControl defined in XAML like this: <ContentControl Grid.Row="0" Content="{Binding CurrentViewModel}" /> The Window containing this ContentControl references a resource dictionary that looks something like this: <ResourceDictionary ...> <DataTemplate DataType="{x:Type lib_vm:SetupPanelViewModel}"> <lib_v:SetupPanel /> </DataTemplate> <DataTemplate DataType="{x:Type lib_vm:InstructionsPanelViewModel}"> <lib_v:InstructionsPanel /> </DataTemplate> </ResourceDictionary> So, basically, the two data templates specify which view to show with which view-model. This switches the views as expected whenever the CurrentViewModel property on my window's view-model changes, but it also seems to cause value converters on the views to fire even when no data has changed. It's a particular problem with IMultiValueConverter classes, because the values in the value array get set to DependencyProperty.UnsetValue, which causes exceptions unless I specifically check for that. But I'm getting other weird side effects too. This has me wondering if I shouldn't just do everything manually, like this: Instantiate each view. Set the DataContext of each view to the appropriate view-model. Give the ContentControl a name and make it public. Handle the PropertyChanged event for the window. In the event handler, manually set the Content property of the ContentControl to the appropriate view, based the CurrentViewModel (using if statements). This seems to work, but it also seems very inelegant. I'm hoping there's a better way. Could you please advise me the best way to handle view switching so that value converters don't fire unnecessarily?

  • DesignTime data not showing in Blend when bound against CollectionViewSource

    - by bitbonk
    I have datatemplate for a viewmodel where an itemscontrol is bound again a CollectionViewSource (to enable sorting in xaml). <DataTemplate x:Key="equipmentDataTemplate"> <Viewbox> <Viewbox.Resources> <CollectionViewSource x:Key="viewSource" Source="{Binding Modules}"> <CollectionViewSource.SortDescriptions> <scm:SortDescription PropertyName="ID" Direction="Ascending"/> </CollectionViewSource.SortDescriptions> </CollectionViewSource> </Viewbox.Resources> <ItemsControl ItemsSource="{Binding Source={StaticResource viewSource}}" Height="{DynamicResource equipmentHeight}" ItemTemplate="{StaticResource moduleDataTemplate}"> <ItemsControl.ItemsPanel> <ItemsPanelTemplate> <StackPanel Orientation="Horizontal" /> </ItemsPanelTemplate> </ItemsControl.ItemsPanel> </ItemsControl> </Viewbox> </DataTemplate> I have also setup the UserControl where all of this is defined to provide designtime data d:DataContext="{x:Static vm:DesignTimeHelper.Equipment}"> This is basically a static property that gives me an EquipmentViewModel that has a list of ModuleViewModels (Equipment.Modules). Now as long as I bind to the CollectionViewSource the designtime data does not show up in blend 3. When I bind to the ViewModel collection directly <ItemsControl ItemsSource="{Binding Modules}" I can see the designtime data. Any idea what I could do?

  • Auto showing tips and closing popup when lost focus

    - by darkwindkey
    I have two elements: a TextBox, and a Popup, where the popup contains a tree view to show some tips according to text of TextBox. When the textBox got the KeyDown Event, the KeyDown directly executes pup.IsOpen=true to show the popup tips. However, I also want to show the popup tips when the mouse on clicking the TextBox, and auto closing the popups when the mouse click on any place (besides the TextBox and the TreeView in Popup). I have tried some cases but do not works fine. Case1: Add pup.IsOpen=true; in TextBox.PreviewMouseUp, the popup will stay opening, even if I click any other place in the window. Case2: Add pup.IsOpen=true in TextBox.PreviewMouseDown, the popup tips only shows on keep clicking the Mouse. Case3: Using CheckBox with Binding IsChecked to Popup.IsOpen works fine. but the tips is listed according to the content of the TextBox, therefore the checkbox is not editable for user... Here is my code now: <Window x:Class="popUpTesting.MainWindow" xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation" xmlns:x="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml" Title="MainWindow" Height="350" Width="525"> <Grid> <TextBox Name="SearchBox" HorizontalAlignment="Center" TextWrapping="Wrap" Text="TextBox" VerticalAlignment="Center" KeyDown="SearchBox_KeyDown" PreviewMouseUp="SearchBox_PreviewMouseUp" /> <Popup Placement="Bottom" AllowsTransparency="True" PopupAnimation="Fade" StaysOpen="false" x:Name="pup" PlacementTarget="{Binding ElementName=SearchBox}" IsOpen="False" > <Grid> <TreeView HorizontalAlignment="Left" Height="200" VerticalAlignment="Top" Width="200"> <TreeViewItem Header="A"> <TreeViewItem Header="A1"/> </TreeViewItem> <TreeViewItem Header="B"></TreeViewItem> <TreeViewItem Header="C"></TreeViewItem> <TreeViewItem Header="D"></TreeViewItem> </TreeView> </Grid> </Popup> </Grid> </Window> and the event functions: private void SearchBox_KeyDown(object sender, KeyEventArgs e) { pup.IsOpen = true; } private void SearchBox_PreviewMouseUp(object sender, MouseButtonEventArgs e) { pup.IsOpen = true; }

  • Silverlight graphics pixel side position?

    - by Tuukka
    I try to port simple game to silverlight (SameGame). The problem is that my old source code used pixel sizes to allight game marks to board. I draw simple grid using lines and game mark (using rectangle). How i can set rentacle position correctly? Example 20 20 pixels to upper left corner). private void DrawGrid() { LayoutRoot.Children.Clear(); Rectangle r = new Rectangle(); r.Width = 20; r.Height = 20; r.Fill = new SolidColorBrush(Color.FromArgb(255, 0, 255, 0)); r.Stroke = new SolidColorBrush(Color.FromArgb(255, 0, 255, 0)); r.SetValue(Canvas.LeftProperty, (double)0); r.SetValue(Canvas.TopProperty, (double)0); LayoutRoot.Children.Add(r); Color GridColor = Color.FromArgb(0xFF, 0x00, 0x00, 0x00); for (int y = 0; y < 11; y++) { Line l = new Line(); l.X1 = 0; l.Y1 = 30 * y - 1; l.X2 = 20 * 30; l.Y2 = 30 * y - 1; l.Stroke = new SolidColorBrush(GridColor); l.StrokeThickness = 1; LayoutRoot.Children.Add(l); } for (int x = 0; x < 21; x++) { Line l = new Line(); l.X1 = 30 * x; l.Y1 = 0; l.X2 = 30 * x; l.Y2 = 10 * 30; l.Stroke = new SolidColorBrush(GridColor); l.StrokeThickness = 1; LayoutRoot.Children.Add(l); } }
