    Hello, There is the next task: I need to check if input parameter (object) is array, then return array of input elements. For example I have input array like this: int [] array = {1,2,3,4}; And method private object[] GetArray(object @from) { } So, I need to check in this method that input variable is array and after return this array. For checking I use if(@from.GetType().IsArray) And how to create array from object ??? Is it possible ? Thanks.

  • issue displaying total row on devexpress pivot grid when paging

    Hi, I'm working with devexpress pivot grid, so I added the paging function and everything is working fine, the only thing I need to do is display the total row on each page, at this moment it is displayed just in the last one, I was looking on DevExpress documentation and it looks like pivot grid calculate the total and gran total automatically and I don't find any thing about my task, anybody knows how can I do this???     I'm deveoping a big project, I have the dev folder (connected to a specific subdomain) then the "real" folder, the live one. When I'm ready to push patches or whole new versions I'm currently copying the files individually, is there a program that can help me do this task?     I got infected by a virus. It looks like I removed it, but it somehow injected a few more processes (I can see them in the task manager) that respawn when I kill them (somehow). Is there a way to destroy those process to stop them from respawning, or in the case something else is respawning them, to kill that "something"?

    I need to expose a function, let's say compute that takes two input files: a plan file and a system file. The compute function uses to system file to see whether the plan in the plan file can be executed or not. It produces an output file containing the result of this check including recommendations for the plan. I need to expose this functionality in a REST architecture and have no influence on the compute function itself (it is being developed by another organization). I can control the interface through which it is accessed. What would be a recommended way to expose this functionality in a REST architecture?

  • Easiest way to position camera in XNA?

    Everytime I load my model into XNA, I can usually see it far off in the distance. When I change some parameters and make it zoom up close, 10/10 times it's rotated funny and I'm set with the task of rotating it. Is there any easy way to do it except by experimenting? Or am I exporting it wrong (using Blender)? Is there any value I should set the objects in my 3d scene to be before exporting it so they appear 'upright'?

    Ok, I have a flowchart definition (basically, array of nodes and edges for each node). Now I want to calculate coordinates for every task in the flow, preferably hierarchycal style. I need something like Graph::Easy::Layout but I have no idea how to get nodes coordinates: I render nodes myself and I only want to retrieve box coordinates/size. Any suggestions? What I need is a CPAN module available even in Debian repository.

    Our organization is at CMMI Level 2, and as part of the requirements of the level, we have to maintain an RTM which more or less contains the following entries for each requirement: Requirement Description Reference Section Functional Specification Document Reference Section Design Document Reference Section Test Cases Document Now, this might be an overkill for a small project. But more importantly, this could be a nightmare to maintain when the requirements/ features keep changing, and documents have to be constantly updated. What do the gurus say about this? Should one avoid such level of documentation or are there any tools to manage when a "change" out dates so many artifacts? And by using the term 'gurus', I am not talking of coding champs; rather people like Steve McConnel or others who have worked on commercial projects of medium to large scale. Quotes/ book references/ articles will suit me. EDIT: It's not just requirements that change. Design Document can change; well, even test cases may change.

    I have a site where people upload videos, which are converted to .flv format. Simple. I wanted to also convert to an mp4 format that will "stream" to an iphone and blackberry, or allowed to be downloaded to either, for later viewing. Can someone post a working ffmpeg line to accomplish this task?     Hi there. I'm trying to build a simple cluster based on Windows XP. I compiled OpenMPI-1.4.2 successfully, and tools like mpicc and ompi_info work too, but I can't get my mpirun working properly. The only output I can see is Z:\orterun --hostfile z:\hosts.txt -np 2 hostname [host0:04728] Failed to initialize COM library. Error code = -2147417850 [host0:04728] [[8946,0],0] ORTE_ERROR_LOG: Error in file ..\..\openmpi-1.4.2 \orte\mca\ess\hnp\ess_hnp_module.c at line 218 -------------------------------------------------------------------------- It looks like orte_init failed for some reason; your parallel process is likely to abort. There are many reasons that a parallel process can fail during orte_init; some of which are due to configuration or environment problems. Can anyone help me? Upd2: Error code -2147024891 might be WMI error WBEM_E_INVALID_PARAMETER (0x80041008) which occures when one of the parameters passed to the WMI call is not correct. Does this mean that the problem is in OpenMPI source code itself? Or maybe it's because of wrong/outdated wincred.h and credui.lib I used while building OpenMPI from the source code?
