Does anybody know if there is an effective way to catch the streamed output of Silverlight and saving it to the Hard disk (in any format) without using screen capturing tools?
My 2GB kingston flash drive is not being formatted in windows XP OS !!
When I try to format it, it doesn't get formatted through windows standard formatting option or even in Partition magic 8.0 (DOS based version).
is there a way to encode (?) a divx file into an mpg4 file or something that will play on the iphone, but while the divx is downloading/streaming.
And if possible is it possible to encode on the fly so the divx file gets encoded into an iphone compatible format and then streamed to a iphone with like a 2 minute or so delay, all while the divx file is still downloading.

Hello,
I am working on theora decoder in ffmpeg V0.5. When i try to decode a 422 or 444 ogg/ogv bit stream using ffmpeg, the output yuv is junk. When i checked the ffmpeg source code, i saw that a pixel format is hardcoded to PIX_FMT_YUV420P.
Does theora decoder in ffmpeg/libavcodec support decoding of YUV422/YUV444 mode bit streams?
thanks,
-AD.
I had created many projects using trial version of Visual studio 2008,
Now I have switched back to visual studio 2005, when I try to load the solution, it pops out "version error" now..
I have seen a Office-2007 plugin for office-2003 which allows to open Documents-sheets in office 2008 format.
Is there a plugin for visual studio too??
I have to find out in which exact format JCIFS stores the user principal in the "getUserPrincipal()" property. Therefor i created a test Environment like this:
Windows Server 2008 Domain Controller
Domain named "MYDOMAIN"
Many Testusers in Active Directory
Tomcat Application Server with my Web Application (which simply reads the user Principal and displays its values).
The user should be logged in to the web-application with SSO therefor i need the format that jcifs is using to store the user. (For example user@MYDOMAIN or MYDOMAIN\user...)
I tested the Authentication with other SSO frameworks with Kerberos Method and it works as expected.
I'm now trying to use SSO through the NTLMHttpFilter of JCIFS. When i try to login i get the following error message:
jcifs.smb.SmbException: The parameter is incorrect.
jcifs.smb.SmbTransport.checkStatus(SmbTransport.java:541)
jcifs.smb.SmbTransport.send(SmbTransport.java:641)
jcifs.smb.SmbSession.sessionSetup(SmbSession.java:322)
jcifs.smb.SmbSession.send(SmbSession.java:224)
jcifs.smb.SmbTree.treeConnect(SmbTree.java:176)
jcifs.smb.SmbSession.logon(SmbSession.java:153)
jcifs.smb.SmbSession.logon(SmbSession.java:146)
jcifs.http.NtlmHttpFilter.negotiate(NtlmHttpFilter.java:189)
jcifs.http.NtlmHttpFilter.doFilter(NtlmHttpFilter.java:121)
Regarding to the documentation i'm using to configure this, this is a know issue with the Group policy. It is stated there, that i have to change the Group policy "Networkaccess: lan-manager authentication level" to respond to NTLMv1 request.
I have done this, but it's still not working. So what i also have to configure is the same policy on the client computer. I have to change the policy, so that the client computer sends NTLMv1. But it is always sending NTLMv2 tokens.
The problem now is that i'm somehow not able to change this setting. (I already was before) because the dropdown box to choose the authentication method is "greyed out".
edit: just to make this clear, this dialog is on the client-side in the "local-security policies"
As you can see from this screenshot, the chosen method is "Only send NTLMv2 responses" which is the wrong setting and i'm pretty sure that this is causing the error above.
My question is now, why can't i change this setting? Why is it greyd out?
I have a HP Pavilion dv6446 notebook. It had Windows Vista Home premium. After 4.5+ years of usage, just recently it started malfunctioning. While working fine, its screen goes white or sometimes some thin black lines horizontally. Laptop freezes. Hard reboot works.
Again it works for some 2 hrs or so, same error.
To diagnose I did run the Memory and Hard disk check which is present in the Bios Setup.
Memory test passed. Hard disk test returned an error saying something like - "Replace the hard disk". Bad.. Some sectors or platters have gone bad on the disk. (I confirmed this later by further tests mentioned below)
Then I tried installing a Ubuntu 11.10. It listed 3 partitions /dev/sda1, sda2, sda2.
It again gave error and could not install grub loader on /dev/sda1. Bad sectors.
Then redid the Ubuntu installation, this time asked to to install the Ubuntu on /dev/sda3. and kept /dev/sda1 for /home. Installed fine, and works fine as well.
Due to unavailability of WiFi/ Ethernet driver for that adapters under Ubuntu( at least I could not configure them and get the networking working at all), I decided to go back to reinstall windows Vista.
It did install fine. I did not have to format one data partition which has my data. I just formatted one partition which installed Windows So in effect HDD has not undergone a full format here. Worked ok for 1 day. But same white screen and freeze happened. Looks like while it is in use, it accesses the bad sectors for storing some data and that's when it bombs.
I am inclined to think HDD has not failed fully or crashed but has developed bad sectors.
Else if it was a HDD crash, it would have refused to boot at all let alone install on it.
Questions:
Is there any HDD test check under windows or any such tools windows/linux based ewhere which can identify the bad sectors of the HDD and 'lock/isolate' them from further read-write access of any kind.
If not what are my options, if any to salvage this laptop HDD without replacing it.
EDIT:
Would the Disk Error checking tool under windows help in any way?
I use Ubuntu 9.10, and the MiniSD card shows as having the space used as if there were files.
Baobab (the disk usage analyzer) shows that the card only has 118 MB used (of the 401 Ubuntu claims there are).
Of course, I already tried the obvious (rebooting the phone, adding and removing files, etc.), but I don't want to format my card, because I still have some files on it, the transfer to my computer is slow, and because I use an old wire it fails often.
What I am trying to do is create two-step verification to logon to my mac, one being that you would need to input a SD card (formated with special format or something) and then also have a password. Is there any software out there that could do this or any way of programming it so that once it reads the SD Card it makes the password bar visible for logon. Would it be easier to do it with Linux since it is open source? Any help in the right direction is appreciated. Thanks
Hello, I have Windows 7 installed and some certificate in .pfx format.
I succeed installing it to local store and store of domain user with administrator privileges,
but when I connect with local administrator and try to install it I get error:
The import failed because the store was read-only, the store was full, or the store did not open correctly.
Any ideas?
Thank you for ahead.
I've used The Dude to map my network, but I can only export the network map as a graphics file. I've also used Dia and Vision to manually diagram portions of my network.
Does anyone out there have a solution where I can do automatic network mapping using a tool like "The Dude", then pull that file over to a manually editable format for cleaning up and/or enhancing in Visio or Dia?
I have successfully setup DKIM with dkimproxy with a self-signed certificate. Now I want to use an existing X.509 certificate. The script that comes with dkimproxy on Ubuntu to generate the DNS records results in the following broken information (only the start):
postfix._domainkey IN TXT "k=rsa; p=-----BEGIN CERTIFICATE----- MIIHCDCCBfCgAwIBAgICP4AwDQYJKoZIhvcNAQEFBQAwgYwxCzAJBgNVBAYTAklM MRYwFAYDVQQKEw1TdGFydENvbSBMdG
This seems broken to me but I haven't found:
what's the format the public.key should be for dkimproxy?
how to extract that information from the certificate file?
How can I sort a text according to hashtag on Windows-7?
I have a long text (.txt format) which looks something like this:
Blah blah #Test
123123 #Really
Blah bluh #Really
klfdmngl #Test
I would like to conveniently, quickly and automatically be able to sort the text so that it looks like this:
Blah blah #Test
klfdmngl #Test
123123 #Really
Blah bluh #Really
I have to do this on a daily basis so I would like to be able to do it in as few steps as possible.
When explicitly specifying identity file to ssh:
ssh -i ./id_rsa ...
I have these lines in ssh debug trace:
debug1: Offering public key: ./id_rsa
debug3: send_pubkey_test
debug2: we sent a publickey packet, wait for reply
Does it mean ssh-generated id_rsa contains public RSA exponent as well, or ssh is sending out my private key? (which, of course, does not make sense). id_rsa format seems to be rather explicit that it contains private key with its "BEGIN PRIVATE KEY" block.
I can't open my hard disk drive. The error box says
"RUnDLL, there was a problem starting ~$WCFLPM.FAT32 The specified
module could not be found".
My HDD has a virus before. My hard disk contains a shortcut and the shortcut contains all files. I don't want to format it just yet because it contains quite many files. I tried troubleshooting it but none of the solutions in the internet helped.

I am writing sql reports to an oracle database, spooling them to a file and emailing them with mailx. I use the syntax below. The reports do not format properly, unless I use the Courier New font. How do I set this with mailx?
mailx -s "MY REPORT, date +'%D %r " -r "REPORTING SYSTEM" [email protected]< /mydir/mysql.log /dev/null
I am looking for a (free) blog engine (Wordpress...) that handles sections of code well, that is, I could just markup a portion of my entry as code and it would indent/format appropriately, much like SF does right below:
static void Build()
{
Indexer.BuildIndex();
}
I've got a Clariion San and a Solaris 10 server with an emulex HBA. The Thin LUNS are visible in Solaris and I can happily format the raw devices. Unfortunately that's all I can do. All other operations result in I/O errors. I'm running current versions of PowerPath and Solaris is patched as high as it'll go. Anyone have any similar experiences?
Is is possible to format a cell based on one component of the RGB value inside of it. For example, let's say I have 3 cells - A1, A2, A3. In A1, I want the cell color to be the shade of red anywhere between 0 and 255 of the number in the cell (so if it is 128, it should be like half red). For that given cell, the other values will just be 0, 0 (so in this case, zero green and zero blue).
Is this possible?
I've got a word document I'm trying to save to an uneditable, unselectable PDF file. Essentially, I'd like it to look like a JPEG, but in PDF format. I'm trying to avoid "printing to tiff, THEN printing to PDF." I'd prefer to go directly from Word to PDF.
Additionally, I don't want to add a Password or anything.
Does an option exist for this? Thanks!
Hi,
Similar to the print to pdf option, where we can choose PDF to be the output format in the print dialog box when printing something from a browser or other applications, I am searching for something which can print to a Power Point file. Is there any such plugin or tool? Also link to a relilable print to pdf tool would be helpful. This essentially would eliminate the export to power point option that the users are asking for in my Silverlight application.
Thanks...
