    I want to copy tcp traffic. i want to use these commands " iptables -A PREROUTING -t mangle -p tcp --dport 7 -j ROUTE --gw 1.2.3.4 --tee iptables -A POSTROUTING -t mangle -p tcp --sport 7 -j ROUTE --gw 1.2.3.4 --tee" like stated here http://stackoverflow.com/questions/7247668/duplicate-tcp-traffic-with-a-proxy but iptables keeps telling me "iptables v1.4.8: unknown option '--gw'" What can I do to fix this?   • Windows 7 forgets my default settings

    Hi All I recently bought a new computer and Windows 7 Home Premium. I only have one small problem though. I have the option "Show Window Contents While Dragging" enabled, but everytime I restart the computer, it reverts back to DISabled. The only thing i could think of is the system requirements etc. But this is not the case as my computer more than meets the full requirements. Can somebody help me please? Thank you

    I've followed the steps in http://learn.iis.net/page.aspx/303/adding-ftp-to-a-web-site/ However, when I get to the part where it says to click "add ftp publishing to website", the option is not visible in the IIS management console. I've verified that the "FTP Publishing Service" is installed in the server manager, and I can see it running in the services applet and via netstat -a. Suggestions?

But I am very surprised I can not find a download URL from search.   • Nginx returning 444 for PUT and DELETE

    I'm trying to build a REST API through Nginx and everything works fine except when I the requests are PUT or DELETE. In these cases, Nginx returns 444 (no response). I did some research and all I could find was something about Nginx being configured with the "--with-http_dav_module" option. I've checked that with nginx -V and and it seems that it was configured with this. So, any idea what else could it be?

    I could do this easily with TextPad, then I got irritated with Textpad once I'd played with Notepad++. Now that I've removed Textpad: I want Notepad++ to take over the right-click Edit option in Explorer, and I want Notepad++ to come up when I type notepad in the command prompt. I know that Notepad++ has a shell extension that allows one to do right-click Edit in Notepad++. But my old right-click Edit link remains, and I keep finding myself clicking on it, only to be rewarded with an error.

    I wish to connect to a remote Windows 7 PC that has a microphone, and use that local microphone (on the destination PC) in recording applications. Unfortunately whenever I connect on Remote Desktop, the remote PC's local microphones become hidden and disabled. Remote Desktop seems to force using the source computer's microphone with redirection, without an option to use the remote PC's microphone Isn't there a way to enable using the remote PC's microphone? I don't get why this should be so hard.

I know somethings (mostly through trial and error) but for example how do I know that: /usr/bin/ls [-aAbcCdeEfFghHilLmnopqrRstuvVx1@] [file]... Means that you can include more than one option. Ie: ls -la Can someone point me to some documentation on what the usage syntax is.

Is there a way to add PHP support to a current Xcode version (3.2.2 or later)? Currently I use NetBeans for PHP development and I've tried some other IDEs.     Hi, I installed Windows XP with VMware Fusion on my MacBook and while internet works, Windows can ping the Mac, etc. from the Mac or any other machine in the network we can not see the Virtual Machine. In between, I use bridged option and obtain the the VM's IP dynamically; tried also static assignment from the free addresses but the problem persisted. Any ideas what is wrong?

    If a wireless modem router has the option Allow multicast from Broadband Network, what does this mean exactly? What risks are there to leaving it enabled and why would you have it enabled? I understand that a broadcast is sending a packet to every device on the network and a multicast is send a packet to a specified set of addresses. A multicast packet can cross routers whereas a broadcast cannot although I don't quite understand how these "set of addresses are specified"

  • Linux Mint networking not enabled in VMWare

    Hi, I installed Linux Mint in VMware, and I do not understand how to enable networking. My VMware settings use a bridged connection. My other linux distros run fine in vmware - networking works for them. But Linux Mint is the only one that isn't obtaining an ip address. Furthermore, I do not see an option in the administrative menu of Mint to enable networking... Please help. Thanks, Igor

    I've install SCCM 2012 on a server and have successfully used the Remote Control option to take control of a system I've setup to be managed by SCCM. Now, I don't want to have to log in to a server every time I want to access this client...is there a way to run the Remote Control Viewer client on my desktop OS so I can take remote control of systems rather than having to remote in from the server? This seems like very basic functionality...but I haven't been able to figure it out thus far.
