  • Modifying y-axis label in pdf Diagram

    Hi all, I have mislabelled the y-axis in my pdf graph that I generated from an Matlab file. Unfortuantely, I cant find anymore the data that I used to generate the graph. So I am wondering if there is an free tool that allows me to rename the y-axis in my pdf diagram? Are there any free tools available that could be helpful or is this something "impossible" to do?     i've just solved the blue screen problem after "preparing your desktop" on windows 2008 server with your help (http://serverfault.com/questions/410570/server-2008-blue-screen-after-login-no-desktop) but unfortuneletly for me i did many things before that through gpedit.msc specifically to restrict user access to windows programs, control panel, regedit, msconfig ... but when i finally can log on even with administrator i cant open anything at all... and the message at title always came up.. please help me i cant open anything, regedit, mmc, any administrative tools ....

  • How do I locate the app generating this network traffic?

    I don't know what this process is doing on my computer. I run Windows 7 Professional w/ all its updates running current non-free antivirus. I only see it in Resource Monitor, where you can see the Network Service process connected to bitum.nnov.ru. When my PC's network traffic generating apps are idle, this process is using the most of all the idle processes using the network.   • Where is the script editor in google spreadsheet?

    Hello I just stumbled upon this link and wanted to try it out. Yet, if I open a google spreadsheet, I have no scripts submenu under the tools menu. This was with firefox 3.0.15 and IE 7. Unfortunately, I didn't find anything that indicated why there wouldn't be such menus with my spreadsheets. Does someone know more about this? Thanks / Rene

    Are there any good web server log analysis tools that can provide me with daily statistics on individual URLs? I guess I'm looking at something that can drill down into particular URLs and on particular days rather than just a monthly summary report. The following don't seem to meet my needs as they don't offer drilling down to get more detailed info: awstats analog webalizer (I'm running an nginx frontend into Apache with nginx outputting 'combined' format logfiles if it makes any difference.)

    I have SQL Agent job that is automated that a non SQL Admin user may need to occasionaly run. I know I can trigger a SQL Agent Job via sp_execute_job. Can anyone tell me where to find what I need installed on a (Non SQL Server box) client PC in order to run one of - SQLCmd, OSQL or ISQL - commands please, so I can execute the above SQL? Or is there are simpler way perhaps with out calling TSQL or without installing any SQL client tools.

  • Blue screen of death while installing any Adobe Air application

    Whenever I try to install an Air application I get a Blue Screen and then my system restarts. I cannot even take a screenshot of it. This happens with every air application I try to install. I also searched for the same on Adobe forums and found the same problem being faced by someone else. His problem was resolved by uninstalling a software named "Folder Lock". I searched my hard disk for this software and found one, so I deleted that software (shift+delete) and removed all it's traces from registry too but that still doesn't solved the problem. I also tried disabling the antivirus software and then install the air application but this also didn't helped. Here is the screenshot of the BSOD. I was able to install air applications earlier, but now I can't. Anybody having same sort of problem. One colleague of mine is also having the same problem. Please help me out. My system's config is as follows: Windows XP Home sp3 Flash Builder 4, with SDK 4.1, 3.5 installed in it. Adobe Air v 2.5 1.5 GB RAM 1.66 MHz processor Thanks

    Hi all, I just booted up my Samsung N120 netbook (with Windows XP Home SP3) and a dialog box came up with a command prompt window behind it. The dialog box is titled 16 bit MS-DOS Subsystem and the message is as follows: C:\DOCUME~1\SAMSUNG\csrss.exe The NTVDM CPU has encountered an illegal instruction. CS:0544 IP:0117 OP:63 00 64 00 34 Choose 'Close' to terminate the application. This only started on my most recent boot-up. One thing to note is that when I downloaded the Dropbox installer and opened it up, Panda Cloud Antivirus detected a suspicious file, which was csrss.exe and "neutralized it." However, an actual virus or trojan was not detected immediately before the file was detected and neutralized. Just under two weeks ago, a trojan and two viruses were detected for some odd reason. (I only went to website I knew and I do not torrent or browse adult sites.) Anyhow, the two viruses came up in temporary files and the trojan was "neutralized." Anyways, the main question is: How can I repair the csrss.exe file such that Windows XP starts up properly? A screenshot could be posted upon request. Thanks in advance!

I've looked at: FBexport which can be used to dump the data as insert statements, but it's mainly written to export/import from one firebird db to another, not as a migration tool. There's also: Firebird to PostgreSQL Win32 tool, but it's only for win32 systems. Is there any good tool to do this? Or should I just roll my own?

  • Unable to stop chrome.exe *32

    So I was installing roboform today and was unable to stop the process chrome.exe *32... Even when I uninstalled chrome. This is the error I got: I used lockhunter and it said it was located in %appdata%\Local\Google\Chrome. However, it was unable to unlock, delete or rename. When I use explorer to delete or rename that folder, it says it's being used by Chrome. Even after restarting my computer it still does this. I've tried using the built in chrome task manager (Wrench View Background Pages) and I can't seem to find a process there that has the same amount of memory. I have run many, many virus scans, by: Microsoft security essentials AVG (Free version) Malwarebytes (Pro version) Norton 360 (Pro version) McAfee (Pro Version) Avira (Free version) Avast! Antivirus (Free version) None of which returned with any viruses.     I've tried to setup an EasyPHP in local and make it visible from the Web via DynDNS, which I've already successed many times before, but now this just doesn't work, maybe I've forgotten something... *The "server" is a common workstation.   • How do I fix "ORA-01033: ORACLE initialization or shutdown in progress" error?

    I have an Oracle 9.2 database. The server has crashed. After rebooting any attempt to connect to the Oracle server returns error ORA-01033 (as in title). I've tried stopping and starting the Oracle services (from Control Panel - Administrative Tools - Services). Also, I have waited half an hour, so I don't think the Oracle server is legitimately still starting up. My feeling is that more likely something is corrupted.
