I have next access list: [groups] @foo = user1, user2 [/] * = r [dir/repo:/] @foo = rw The last string doesn't work in any combination I tried

  • Why did File::Find finish short of completely traversing a large directory?

    A directory exists with a total of 2,153,425 items (according to Windows folder Properties). It contains .jpg and .gif image files located within a few subdirectories. The task was to move the images into a different location while querying each file's name to retrieve some relevant info and store it elsewhere. The script that used File::Find finished at 20462 files. Out of curiosity I wrote a tiny recursive function to count the items which returned a count of 1,734,802. I suppose the difference can be accounted for by the fact that it didn't count folders, only files that passed the -f test. The problem itself can be solved differently by querying for file names first instead of traversing the directory. I'm just wondering what could've caused File::Find to finish at a small fraction of all files. The data is stored on an NTFS file system.   • Is there a way to find a specific file and then change into the directory containing it in one go?

    I'm looking for a way to find what I know will be a unique file, and then change into the directory containing that file. Something along the lines of: find . -name 'Subscription.java' | xargs cd Or: find . -name 'Subscription.java' -exec cd {} \; I know this won't work because it's both trying to cd supplying the entire absolute path, which contains the file, and also because xargs can't do any built in shell commands...but you get the point of what I want to accomplish.

  • How do I move my git repo down level in the directory tree?

    I'm currently writing an app in C# using using Visual Studio. As such, VS2010 created a Solution directory with my project directories inside. So my Hierarchy is like this: Solution .git project1 project2 What I'd like to do is make it like this: Solution Project 1 .git Project 2 As of right now the files in the solution are tracked, except for the project 2 (so stuff like project.sln for example). Is there a way I can do this without rewriting the history? Thanks in advance.

But i can see those TTButton.h,TTStyle.h... are inside the Three20 Folder. Please Help me, thanks in advance.

    Hi fellas, A) Are there any FOSS programs out there that can manage to hashchange all files in a directory tree? B) Failing that, what methods could be used to develop this capability in a (crappy) self-written program without requiring the program to be sophisticated and content-aware? Is there any (roughly) universally safe location within a file (for example, around EOF?) where on could one simply append/add psuedorandom data so the resulting hash is different?   • Can I push my working directory without first committing it?

    I have my web server set up as a remote git repo, so I can type "git push staging" and my last commit goes live on the server. I used this tutorial to set this up. A lot of the time, I'm testing a new feature, and I want to test several iterations of it on the staging server, before it's ready to quality as a commit. Is there a way to push my working directory to the server without having to commit it first?
