  I want to uninstall my application on button click. For this I am using following code. Uri packageURI = Uri.parse("package:"+packageName); Intent uninstallIntent = new Intent(Intent.ACTION_DELETE, packageURI); startActivity(uninstallIntent); It gives me result, but I want to delete directly without click on "Ok" button of dialog with message "This application will be Uninstalled". I just want uninstalling application directly.

  When I run my grails application using embedded jetty server(tomcat for grails 1.2), I can make changes to my controllers, services and other java files on-the-fly at runtime without restarting the application. How can I achieve the same functionality on my application deployed on Tomcat(or any server) for that matter. I have observed the exploded war folder under webapps has gsp files but not the groovy files.

  I'm just learning about creating custom ribbons in Access 2010, but I'm running into an issue. The Access application I'm working with is connected to a SQL Server backend (connected, not just linked tables). As I understand it, the USysRibbons table needs to exist in the Access application itself, and not in a connected SQL Server. How does one go about creating a table in an Access application that is already linked to a SQL Server? I tried creating the table in a blank database and then importing it into the Access application without any luck.

• iOS Downloading Videos and saving in Application Support folder

  In my application, i've to download videos around 10 to my application and play accordingly. Each video is around 50 MB. I'm using following code and then after downloading the video, i'm saving it to Application support folder to avoid icloud sync. But the problem is that when downloading the videos its crashing. [NSURLConnection sendAsynchronousRequest:req queue:[[NSOperationQueue alloc] init] completionHandler:^(NSURLResponse *response, NSData *rcvdDat, NSError * err) { . . . } What I'm thinking is that, while downloading the video, it resides in memory and so the total memory occupying by the app is increasing. Finally iOS is making the app to close. I would like to download the video and when ever a stream of data received, write to temp file and when completes move it to application support folder. Can some one help me on how to write it to file and save it at the end? I cannot use 3rd party libraries (unless its small) due to legal issues.

  I'm using WinXP and here is my question: I run an application, such as Chrome, there would be one app in the task bar, and it's fine. Suppose a new window of Chrome opened(so there would be 2 window and 2 in the task bar), and when I close that,the 2nd one, the whole application just shutdown. And so does chrome, firefox, evernote, Becky!(the email client), even TortoiseSVN. So I think there should be a generic problem cause these applications shutdown, such as the platform - WinXP. Please give me some advice or hint, anything comes to your mind would be helpful!

For example: I have a NewsController and action Details inside. And two model classes News and Comments. I want show all comments belongs to this News record and textarea for adding new comments. I wand display all this content in /News/Details/ How can i do it? I tried use PartialViews in Details View: one for Adding Comment and another for Comment list. I have passed comment object thorough ViewData["Comment"]. But i have problems with my models (think I cant use two models in View) Again.   I am trying to get a folder path in my C drive that I did not want to hard code with my program. I know that I can use string path = System.AppDomain.CurrentDomain.BaseDirectory; However its give me : C:\FACE\Camera\Camera\bin\Debug . Which I want to only have C:\FACE\ as I want to initialise something in the FACE folder but outside of my Camera folder. I do not wish to hardcode the file path. Is it possible to do it? • Accessing Application Server directly by public IP in citrix Farm

  I have an citrix application server in SiteB and I have a Farm in SiteA. We want to add this server into that Farm in SiteB, and access it from the internet via web interface. SiteA and SiteB are connected via VPN. But we would like to do that in a way the ICA traffic goes directly to the application server public IP (behind NAT) in siteB without using siteA and the VPN to route this traffic. Do you know if this is posible? Maybe there is a way to change the host in the ica file for this server in the webinterface (without editing manually each time)? We are using Citrix 4.5.   I know that #pragma once is non-standard, however it is supported by most compilers. So on my Mac I can compile C++ code with headers that use #pragma once on the command line using clang++. The strange thing however is that it does not seem to work within Xcode. I get Invalid preprocessing directive when I try to use #pragma once. I am using the newest version of OSX (10.8.2) and Xcode (Version 4.5.1 (4G1004)).

• iPhone: InterfaceBuilder nibs disconnected from my project

  Since upgrading to XCode 3.2, InterfaceBuilder doesn't play nice. All of my image links are broken in IB but they'll show fine when I compile. When I go to the combo box to select an image for my UIImageView, it doesn't have the image files I've added to my app. I also can't create a new .nib and associate it with a class I've written. Like images, my custom viewcontrollers aren't available to pick from. I'm going to try a reinstall but I was curious if anyone's dealt with this?

This doesn't have to be terribly hard - I did the language that must not be named - but it will force you to learn a lot of the important parts of C. If you don't want to write a lexer and/or parser yourself, you can use lex/flex and yacc/bison, but if you plan on that you might want to start with a somewhat smaller project. I was kinda intrigued about the implementing a programming language answer and I'm wondering how do I go about starting this? I've gone through the whole K&R book and I've done some of the exercises as well. I also have a bit of experience in C++ and Java if that matters. Any tips? Thanks!

The problem I have is that whenever I re-compile my application it changes the folder to which the application is installed. Is there any way I can specify which folder it should build to, so that any path information stored during it's last run will still be valid?

I determine what libraries or frameworks I will be using, what languages, the basic architecture of how the site will flow, etc. I've also heard of other design processes such as hanging styrofoam balls to show where classes are and how they relate, which is a process I've never heard of nor do I know how it works. Is there any software that helps with this process? Are there any guidelines or steps or do you have a recommended set of steps or guidelines that you follow when designing a new project?

  I'm fairly well read in the benefits and processes of Scrum. I get the ideas on the backlog, burndown charts, iterations, using user stories, and other various concepts of the Scrum "framework". With that said... I work for a web development firm that manages multiple projects at one time, with six team members that make up the "production team". How does Scrum work with having multiple projects? Do you still just schedule an iteration for a single project in a certain amount of time and the entire team works on it, and then you move on to the next project with a new iteration when that iteration is completed? Or is there an "agile" way in managing multiple projects with their own iterations with only one team at the same time?

  We have an HTML 5.0 web application that we ported to Android. It's our intention to run this in a Native Wrapper. Our application uses the ApplicationCache to run offline. This works find when running under the browser. While being hosted in a WebView within a native application, after the last file is downloaded and stored in the ApplicationCache from the manifest the application is terminated and does a core dump. This appears to be a documented bug. http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=7939 Has anyone doing anything similar found a work around for this issue?
