  Hi, I am trying to learn how to use different views, for this sample test app, i have a login page, upon successful logon, the user is redirected to a table view and then upon selection of an item in the table view, the user is directed to a third page showing details of the item. the first page works just fine, but the problem occurs when i go to the second page, the table shown doesn't have title and i cannot add title or toolbar or anything other than the content of the tables themselves. and when i click on the item, needless to say nothing happens. no errors as well. i am fairly new to programming and have always worked on Java but never on C(although i have some basic knowledge of C) and Objective C is new to me. I have two groups, upbeat.nexus (private) and public.nexus (public). I've set up the associated repositories in Nexus already. I'm having a bit of difficulty tracking down the error and can't seem to figure out why it's happening. In summary, the first problem was the program being unable to open a connection due to missing methods or libraries due to using vanilla kSOAP2 rather than a modified library for Android (kSOAP2-Android). The second issue was a settings issue. • Microsoft.Web.Administration.ServerManager can't read config sections containing encrypted passwords

  I have some sites in IIS7 that are configured to run as domain users (MYDOMAIN\someuser). Any tips on how I can either allow ServerManager to decrypt this, or just tell IIS to store the passwords in plain text? This is on IIS7 under Windows 7 RC, by the way.

It it almost completed, please follow simple steps to see where my problem dwells: step1: click on any continent highlighted on world map; step2: click on any city marked on continent map; step3: enter quantity ranging from 1 to 6 into the upper-right table; step4 : there you go, in the table below, once row is equal or greater than 3, then the size of table starts to "overlap" on top of the footer section and continues to grow, which is not what I want. I want to achieve the effect that the table size has a limited max-height, so once actual height exceeds the threshold, then I can have a vertical scroll bar so to "stack up" my table and not to break the overall structure. It turns out that my lazy initial design now gets myself stuck in a problem... Any suggestion and hint on how to get this?

  Are there any decent examples of the following available: Looking through the WIF SDK, there are examples of using WIF in conjunction with ASP.NET using the WSFederationAuthenticationModule (FAM) to redirect to an ASP.NET site thin skin on top of a Security Token Service (STS) that user uses to authenticate (via supplying a username and password). If I understand WIF and claims-based access correctly, I would like my application to provide its own login screen where users provide their username and password and let this delegate to an STS for authentication, sending the login details to an endpoint via a security standard (WS-*), and expecting a SAML token to be returned. Ideally, the SessionAuthenticationModule would work as per the examples using FAM in conjunction with SessionAuthenticationModule i.e. be responsible for reconstructing the IClaimsPrincipal from the session security chunked cookie and redirecting to my application login page when the security session expires. Is what I describe possible using FAM and SessionAuthenticationModule with appropriate web.config settings, or do I need to think about writing a HttpModule myself to handle this? Alternatively, is redirecting to a thin web site STS where users log in the de facto approach in a passive requestor scenario?

• Windows 7 won't boot past starting windows screen / stuck on Classpnp.sys in safe mode....

  I'm having trouble with my Windows 7 machine It was fine, until this morning, when, for no reason what so ever, it decided not to boot past the "Starting Windows" screen No hardware has been installed / removed. I tried to boot into Safe mode, but it got stuck on classpnp.sys I tried to do a recovery - by booting on to the windows 7 dvd... This did not work either. Any ideas?

  I am trying to call an https web service (RESTful) using basic authentication. It works fine if I put the credentials in the url itself but I would rather add it to the request so that the password does not appear, for instance in an exception. • Can't get gitosis and ssh to play nice on cygwin

  I have followed this guide to setting up gitosis on a windows 2003 server via cygwin. I have now got to a point where it largely works. I can clone, pull and push. The problem I am having is that I think I have not got the ssh bit right at all. When I connect via msysgit from machines and accounts where I have not created or uploaded ssh keys it works. Every time I clone, pull or push I get a password challenge for the 'git' user running on the server but basically I can execute git commands. Update 1: When I try to clone a non-existant repo, I get the same error message, co-incidence? Update 2: Wierd, I've got one machine and one login working. It seems to be something to do with the syntax for addressing git over ssh. This now works on one machine for one login: git clone git@servername:cris.git The same command fails for a user on another machine without an uploaded ssh key. But this command works (after being challanged for git@servername's password) git clone git@servername:/home/git/repositories/cris.git neither command works on a 2nd login whose ssh key has been uploaded

• WatiN LogonDialogHandlers not working correctly in Windows 7

  I have recently updated to Windows 7, VS2010 and IE8. We have an automation suite running tests against IE using WatiN. These tests require the logon dialog handler to be used in order to log different AD Users into the IE Browser. This works perfectly when using Windows XP and IE8, but now using Windows 7 has resulted in the Windows Security dialog box no longer being recognised, the dialogue box is just being ignored. • Accessing Google Spreadsheets with C# using Google Data API fails with Mono

  I'm trying to access my Google spreadsheets using the GData API. I have followed the example which looks like: var service = new SpreadsheetsService("myTest"); service.setUserCredentials(username, password); var query = new SpreadsheetQuery(); var feed = service.Query(query); This should return a feed with a list of spreadsheets. However this fails with: Google.GData.Client.GDataRequestException: Execution of request failed: http://spreadsheets.google.com/feeds/spreadsheets/private/full --- System.Net.WebException: The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found. When I try the above link directly in my browser I'm able to download the feed, as long as I'm logged in into my Google account. Some further information: I'm not behind a firewall I have checked my username (maurits.rijk at gmail.com) and password several times I am using Mandriva in VirtualBox on a MacBook All my code is compiled with Mono I tried the same functionality in Java on OS-X. That code runs as expected.

• Cannot access MOSS site from within MOSS server

  I am trying to access my MOSS site through the browser on the web server itself. I am using the same URL that is used for external access to the site. When I hit it from outside the server, I can see most of the site, which has anonymous access, and can use a domain account to get into secure areas. When I hit it from within the server, I get prompted for a password, but no matter what I enter it seems to reject it and just presents another password dialog. Has anyone seen anything like this?
