  • Use WPF DLL Assembly in ASP.NET problem

    Hello, I have C++ project that compiles as DLL Assembly in .NET 3.5 SP1 Project is used for Image rendering processing by using WPF (it loads 2 images from local folder, applies one image on another and saves the output file in the same folder). I want to use that that project as a reference in ASP.NET project to the rendering on the website. So I created simple Web Project in ASP.NET C# that uses C++ project as a Reference. Everything works great in ASP.NET Web Development Server (built-in Web server in VS2008). But once I publish this project to IIS on the same Machine or use IIS for debug instead of built-in Web server Image rendering it's not working anymore. I'm not getting any exceptions or error messages, it just output image is not processes as it supposed to be. If anyone know what could cause that I would really appreciate your insight!

  • Problem Linking Boost Filesystem Library in Microsoft Visual C++

    Hello. I am having trouble getting my project to link to the Boost (version 1.37.0) Filesystem lib file in Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 Express Edition. The Filesystem library is not a header-only library. I have been following the Getting Started on Windows guide posted on the official boost web page. Here are the steps I have taken: I used bjam to build the complete set of lib files using: bjam --build-dir="C:\Program Files\boost\build-boost" --toolset=msvc --build-type=complete I copied the /libs directory (located in C:\Program Files\boost\build-boost\boost\bin.v2) to C:\Program Files\boost\boost_1_37_0\libs. In Visual C++, under Project Properties Additional Library Directories I added these paths: C:\Program Files\boost\boost_1_37_0\libs C:\Program Files\boost\boost_1_37_0\libs\filesystem\build\msvc-9.0express\debug\link-static\threading-multi I added the second one out of desperation. It is the exact directory where libboost_system-vc90-mt-gd-1_37.lib resides. In Configuration Properties C/C++ General Additional Include Directories I added the following path: C:\Program Files\boost\boost_1_37_0 Then, to put the icing on the cake, under Tools Options VC++ Directories Library files, I added the same directories mentioned in step 3. Despite all this, when I build my project I get the following error: fatal error LNK1104: cannot open file 'libboost_system-vc90-mt-gd-1_37.lib' Additionally, here is the code that I am attempting to compile as well as a screen shot of the aformentioned directory where the (assumedly correct) lib file resides: #include "boost/filesystem.hpp" // includes all needed Boost.Filesystem declarations #include <iostream> // for std::cout using boost::filesystem; // for ease of tutorial presentation; // a namespace alias is preferred practice in real code using namespace std; int main() { cout << "Hello, world!" << endl; return 0; } Can anyone help me out?     Hi, I developed a simple application for iPAD. I want to test the app how it works on the device. I have paid developer licence, and i have added the device id and created the app id and i have downloaded the provisioning profile using both. The same way how we will build the app for iphone i have done for ipad. i have sent the provisioning profile and .ipa file to my friend to load on to the ipad device(same device which i have added in the developer.apple.com). when he tried to drag n drop the provisioning file on to the device from iTunes it is giving below error. "abc.mobileprovision" was not copied on to the iPAD, because it cannot be palyed on this iPAD I am not able to understand what the exact error is. Can anyone please let me know how to dump the applicatio on to the ipad device?

    Hi, im using linux with gedit which has the wonderful habit of creating a temp file with a tilde at the end for every file I edit. im trying to move all of these files at once to a different folder using the following: find . -iname “*.php~” -exec mv {} /mydir \; However, its now giving me syntax errors, as if it were searching through each file and trying to move the piece of text. I just want to move all of the files ending in .php~ to another directory. Any idea how I do that? Cheers Ke

    I'm new to MVC, so please bear with me. :-) I've got a strongly typed "Story" View. This View (story) can have Comments. I've created two Views (not partials) for my Comments controller "ListStoryComments" and "CreateStoryComment", which do what their names imply. These Views are included in the Story View using RenderAction, e.g.: <!-- List comments --> <h2>All Comments</h2> <% Html.RenderAction("ListStoryComments", "Comments", new { id = Model.Story.Id }); %> <!-- Create new comment --> <% Html.RenderAction("CreateStoryComment", "Comments", new { id = Model.Story.Id }); %> (I pass in the Story id in order to list related comments). All works as I hoped, except, when I post a new comment using the form, it returns the current (parent) View, but the Comments form field is still showing the last content I typed in and the ListStoryComments View isn’t updated to show the new story. Basically, the page is being loaded from cache, as if I had pressed the browser’s back button. If I press f5 it will try to repost the form. If I reload the page manually (reenter the URL in the browser's address bar), and then press f5, I will see my new content and the empty form field, which is my desired result.     There are 2 JTree: JTree1 and JTree2. Note that the nodes (country, city, colors, blue ...) all will be implemented as JCheckboxes so that user can select particular colors for each city or for the whole country by selecting their corresponding checkboxes. Problems: Q1. I want that each country or city can have its own colors selected. Means if a user wants city1.1 to have colors blue and violet and city2.1 to have colors red, then he first have to select the city1.1 checkbox and then select blue and violet, and after that when he selects city2.1, then the checkboxes blue and violet are deselected automatically so that user can select the colors for city2.1. But when the user selects the city1.1 again, then the JTree2should show the selected colors (bule and violet) for city1.1. So for this purpose, Is the JTree (with its nodes as checkboxes) correct option to implement or I should use some other JComponent? If JTree is a correct option, then how can I remember the colors of each city?

But when I requested localhost:8888 I got a (huge) stack trace originating from an ImportError: <type 'exceptions.ImportError'>: No module named mysite I can import the module from the interpreter, and if i just execute index.rpy as a python script, I don't get the import error. The documentation on this subject is a bit vague, it just says "However, it is often a better idea to define Resource subclasses in Python modules. In order for changes in modules to be visible, you must either restart the Python process, or reload the module:" (from here). Does anyone know the proper way to do this?

    Calling the ajax called URL works well without ajax eg. http://localhost/ci/controller/method/param_value. But using ajax it doesnt work.
