  • gwt get array button value

    - by graybow
    My gwt project have flexTable show data of image and button on each row and coll. But my button won't work properly. this is my current code: private Button[] b = new Button[]{new Button("a"),...,new Button("j")}; private int z=0; ... public void UpdateTabelGallery(JsArray str){ for(int i=0; i str.length(); i++){ b[i].setText(str.gettitle()); UpdateTabelGallery(str.get(i)); } } public void UpdateTabelGallery(GalleryData str){ Image img = new Image(); img.setUrl(str.getthumburl()); HTML himage= new HTML("a href="+str.geturl()+""+ img +"/a" + b[z] ); TabelGaleri.setWidget(y, x, himage); //is here th right place? b[z].addClickHandler(new ClickHandler(){ @Override public void onClick(ClickEvent event) { Window.alert("I wan to show the clicked button text" + b[z].getText()); } }); z++; } I'm still confuse where I should put my button handler. With this current code seems the clickhandler didn't work inside a looping. And if I put it outside loop its not working because I need to know which button clicked. I need to get my index button.but how? Is there any option than array button? thanks

  • Secure to store an ID in an ASP.NET control ID?

    - by Curtis White
    I'm auto-generating a form in my ASP.NET page. This is already tested and working. I want to know if: If there are any security problems with storing the database ID as part of my controls ID? I can see think of 2 issues: the id will be visible in page source (not really important in this case), and the possibility someone could change the name of the control somehow? This second possibility is more serious. Is this a potential problem and how to void it? If there would be a better preferred way to associate a unique data with any type of control? Is it possible to store a custom item in the viewstate for the control?

  • c# Wrapper to native c++ code, wrapping a parameter which is a pointer to an array

    - by mb300dturbo
    Hi, I have the following simple DLL in c++ un-managed code; extern "C" __declspec(dllexport) void ArrayMultiplier(float (*pointerArray)[3], int scalar, int length); void ArrayMultiplier(float (*pointerArray)[3], int scalar, int length) { for (int i = 0 ; i < length ; length++) { for (int j = 0; j < 3; j++) { pointerArray[i][j] = pointerArray[i][j] * scalar; } } } I have tried writing the following wrapper function for the above in c#: [DllImport("sample.dll")] public static extern void ArrayMultiplier(ref float elements, int scalar, int length); where elements is a 2 dimentional 3x3 array: public float[][] elements = { new float[] {2,5,3}, new float [] {4,8,6}, new float [] {5,28,3} }; The code given above compiles, but the program crashes when the wrapper function is called: Wrapper.ArrayMultiplier(ref elements, scalar, length); Please help me here, and tell me whats wrong with the code above, or how a wrapper can be written for a simple c++ function: void SimpleFunction(float (*pointerToArray)[3]); Thank you all in advance

  • Practicing inserting data into an array by using binary search, few problems

    - by HelpNeeder
    I'm trying to create a method which inserts and then sort elements in form of binary form. The problem I am experiencing that my code doesn't insert data correctly which means that output does not appear to be in order at all. The list is not organized, and data is added in order that is being inserted. Now, 2 questions, what am I doing wrong here? And how to fix this? public void insertBinarySearch(long value) // put element into array { int j = 0; int lower = 0; int upper = elems-1; int cur = 0; while (cur < elems) { curIn = (lower + upper ) / 2; if(a[cur] < value) { j = cur + 1; break; } else if(a[cur] > value) { j = cur; break; } else { if(a[cur] < value) lower = cur + 1; else upper = cur - 1; } } for(int k = elems; k > j; k--) a[k] = a[k-1]; a[j] = value; elems++; }

  • Sort ranges in an array in google apps script

    - by user1637113
    I have a timesheet spreadsheet for our company and I need to sort the employees by each timesheet block (15 rows by 20 columns). I have the following code which I had help with, but the array quits sorting once it comes to a block without an employee name (I would like these to be shuffled to the bottom). Another complication I am having is there are numerous formulas in these cells and when I run it as is, it removes them. I would like to keep these intact if at all possible. Here's the code: function sortSections() { var activeSheet = SpreadsheetApp.getActiveSheet(); //SETTINGS var sheetName = activeSheet.getSheetName(); //name of sheet to be sorted var headerRows = 53; //number of header rows var pageHeaderRows = 5; //page totals to top of next emp section var sortColumn = 11; //index of column to be sorted by; 1 = column A var pageSize = 65; var sectionSize = 15; //number of rows in each section var col = sortColumn-1; var sheet = SpreadsheetApp.getActive().getSheetByName(sheetName); var data = sheet.getRange(headerRows+1, 1, sheet.getMaxRows()-headerRows, sheet.getLastColumn()).getValues(); var data3d = []; var dataLength = data.length/sectionSize; for (var i = 0; i < dataLength; i++) { data3d[i] = data.splice(0, sectionSize); } data3d.sort(function(a,b){return(((a[0][col]<b[0][col])&&a[0][col])?-1:((a[0][col]>b[0][col])?1:0))}); var sortedData = []; for (var k in data3d) { for (var l in data3d[k]) { sortedData.push(data3d[k][l]); } } sheet.getRange(headerRows+1, 1, sortedData.length, sortedData[0].length).setValues(sortedData);

  • Does video tag (HTML 5) injection via JavaScript work in any browsers?

    - by JoshNaro
    I'm trying to dynamically spawn a video element on a page using JavaScript. JavaScript <script type="text/javascript"> $(document).ready(function() { var video = $(document.createElement('video')) .attr('id', 'VideoElement') .attr('controls', 'controls') .attr('src', 'videopath.mp4') // Changed 'href' attribute to 'src' .css({ width: 640, height: 360 }); $('#VideoContainer').append(video); }); HTML <body> <div id="VideoContainer"></div> </body> In Firefox I get the video harness, but the actual video doesn't load. In IE8 the video harness doesn't even appear. Is HTML 5 just not supported enough to accomplish this yet? Edit: Got this to work with Artiom's fix. Looks like this works fine with Chrome and Safari. I'm using a codec Firefox doesn't support, so it doesn't work there; although I suspect it will work with a supported codec. IE8 sure enough doesn't work (high five IE).

  • Constructors for C++ objects

    - by sasquatch
    I have class Person as following : class Person { char* name; int age; }; Now I need to add two contructors. One taking no arguments, that inserts field values to dynamically allocated resources. Second taking (char*, int) arguments initialized by initialization list. Last part is to define a destructor showing information about destroying objects and deallocating dynamically allocated resources. How to perform this task ? That's what I already have : class Person { char* name; int age; public: Person(){ this->name = new *char; this->age = new int; } Person(char* c, int i){ } };

    I have this struct: struct foo { char *a; char *b; char *c; char *d; }; it's possible allocate space for struct itself and its members instead of e.g, struct foo f; f.a = malloc(); f.b = malloc(); f.c = malloc(); f.d = malloc(); strcpy(f.a, "a"); strcpy(f.b, "b"); //.. something like this(of couse that it doesn't works): struct foo f = malloc(sizeof(struct f)); strpcy(f.a, "a"); //etc

  • Dynamically assembling SQL queries in Java

    - by kd
    What is the best way to assemble an SQL query with join conditions dynamically? I don't want to hard code the query for each different condition on a webpage or a set of webpages. Is it even feasible? I got as far as being able to assemble simple queries but i got stumped when i needed to insert join conditions, i.e. how to figure out dependencies for joins etc.

  • Using Variables for Class Names in Python?

    - by Sam McAfee
    I want to know how to use variables for objects and function names in Python. In PHP, you can do this: $className = "MyClass"; $newObject = new $className(); How do you do this sort of thing in Python? Or, am I totally not appreciating some fundamental difference with Python, and if so, what is it?

  • ASP.NET DynamicData: Whats happening during an update?

    - by Jens A.
    I am using ASP.NET DynamicData (based on LINQ to SQL) on my site for basic scaffolding. On one table I have added additional properties, that are not stored in the table, but are retrieved from somewhere else. (Profile information for a user account, in this case). They are displayed just fine, but when editing these values and pressing "Update", they are not changed. Here's what the properties look like, the table is the standard aspnet_Users table: public String Address { get { UserProfile profile = UserProfile.GetUserProfile(UserName); return profile.Address; } set { UserProfile profile = UserProfile.GetUserProfile(UserName); profile.Address = value; profile.Save(); } } When I fired up the debugger, I've noticed that for each update the set accessor is called three times. Once with the new value, but on a newly created instance of user, then once with the old value, again on an new instance, and finally with the old value on the existing instance. Wondering a bit, I checked with the properties created by the designer, and they, too, are called three times in (almost) the same fashion. The only difference is, that the last call contains the new value for the property. I am a bit stumped here. Why three times, and why are my new properties behaving differently? I'd be grateful for any help on that matter! =)

  • How to determine 2D unsigned short pointers array length in c++

    - by tuman
    Hello, I am finding it difficult to determine the length of the columns in a 2D unsigned short pointer array. I have done memory allocation correctly as far as I know. and can print them correctly. plz see the following code segment: int number_of_array_index_required_for_pointer_abc=3; char A[3][16]; strcpy(A[0],"Hello"); strcpy(A[1],"World"); strcpy(A[2],"Tumanicko"); cout<<number_of_array_index_required_for_pointer_abc*sizeof(unsigned short)<<endl; unsigned short ** pqr=(unsigned short **)malloc(number_of_array_index_required_for_pointer_abc*sizeof(unsigned short)); for(int i=0;i<number_of_array_index_required_for_pointer_abc;i++) { int ajira = strlen(A[i])*sizeof(unsigned short); cout<<i<<" = "<<ajira<<endl; pqr[i]=(unsigned short *)malloc(ajira); cout<<"alocated pqr[i]= "<<sizeof pqr<<endl; int j=0; for(j=0;j<strlen(A[i]);j++) { pqr[i][j]=(unsigned short)A[i][j]; } pqr[i][j]='\0'; } for(int i=0;i<number_of_array_index_required_for_pointer_abc;i++) { //ln= (sizeof pqr[i])/(sizeof pqr[0]); //cout<<"Size of pqr["<<i<<"]= "<<ln<<endl; // I want to know the size of the columns i.e. pqr[i]'s length instead of finding '\0' for(int k=0;(char)pqr[i][k]!='\0';k++) cout<<(char)pqr[i][k]; cout<<endl; }

  • Resizing iframe height using javascript issue

    - by Camran
    I have an iframe which content is a php-file, and that php-file displays some mysql records. The more records, the larger the iframe height should get, otherwise it wont show all of the information in the iframe. Here is a code I have for dynamically setting the iframe height, from the iframes content (the php file): var x = document.body.scrollHeight; x = x + 20 + 'px'; window.parent.document.getElementById("iframe001").style.height=x; iframe001 is the iframe I am referring to above. I am adding 20px of height extra because of borders etc... Now, sometimes this resizing works, sometimes it doesn't. Does anybody know why it works sometimes. If I alert the 'x' variable, it shows different values sometimes, but most times it works. Any other ways you know of setting the iframes height from the content of the iframe? Thanks

  • Class lookup structure array in C++

    - by wyatt
    I'm trying to create a structure array which links input strings to classes as follows: struct {string command; CommandPath cPath;} cPathLookup[] = { {"set an alarm", AlarmCommandPath}, {"send an email", EmailCommandPath}, {"", NULL} }; which will be used as follows: CommandPath *cPath = NULL; string input; getline(cin, input); for(int i = 0; cPathLookup[i] != ""; i++) { if(cPathLookup[i].command == input) cPath = new cPathLookup[i].cPath; } Obviously, this code is meaningless, but I think my intention is apparent - depending on input, I'd like cPath to be initialized as either a new AlarmCommandPath or a new EmailCommandPath. I could handle it with a function returning an instance depending on input, but a whole sequence of ifs just seems inelegant. I should also note that, in case it's not apparent and important, that AlarmCommandPath and EmailCommandPath are derived from CommandPath, and CommandPath is an abstract class. Thanks for any help you can offer. EDIT: I just noticed that, in spite of CommandPath being abstract, I have a declaration: CommandPath *cPath = NULL; in working code. Why does that compile?
