  • Google Analytics - Unable to get GA Tracking

    We've been using GA for a few years with no probs. About 2-3 weeks ago we tried to clean up some of our tracking and on one of our profiles, it's not working anymore (since oct 10.) First, some context then some GA Debugging code. 1. Context. We have the following setup: different root domains AND different sub-domains on one of the root domains. www.website.com www.website.com.au www.anotherWebsite.com foo.website.com baa.website.com So what we're doing is the following: each root domain and each sub-domain get their own tracking code. This way we can allow separate people (from outside our company) to access only their own data. Eg. a manager for foo.website.com can only see data related to that domain .. and see data on the other domains. Have a last account which is the SUM of all the domains. this is for us. so we can see total numbers. So to do this, we have two trackers that fire off, on the page. the individual accounts all work fine - they seem to be tracking data ok. the 'global' account is not working and this gives us the = Tracking Not Installed error. This has been going on since oct 10. So the wait 24/48/72 hours thing is waaaaay over. 2. GA Debug code. Installing GA Debug chrome extension gives the following output. I've tried to hide anything that could be considered secret. UA-XXXXX34-1 == Global account (which isn't working any more).   • windows server 2008 instance on KVM stuck in 'Pause' mode

    I have a windows Server 2008 instance as a guest on KVM. When I tried to run it via virtual machine manager, the process got frozen after few seconds and trying to resume the process lead to this error from virt-manager: Error unpausing domain: internal error unable to execute QEMU command 'cont': Resetting the Virtual Machine is required I tried to Reboot it without any success. Any help will be highly appreciated.

  • AVCam memory low warning

    This is less a question and more a record of what I've found around the AVCam sample code provided by Apple for iOS4 and 5 camera manipulation. The symptoms of the problem for me were that my app would crash on launching the AVCamViewController after taking around 5-10 photos. I ran the app through the memory leak profiler and there were no apparent leaks but on inspection with the Activity Monitor I discovered that something called mediaserverd was increasing by 17Mb every time the camera was launched and when it reached ~100Mb the app crashed with multiple low memory warnings.

  • BoundsChecker shows incorrect memory leak message

    Hello All, I'm using BoundsChecker9.1 with visual c++. I have a class class Sample{ public: vector(AnotherClass) x; }. When I run my program the BoundsChecker tool reports all push_back() calls such as S.x.push_back(AnotherClass()) as memory leak.. Wouldn't all the elements in vector x will always be deallocated when the Sample class goes out of scope? If so, any idea about why BoundsChecker is showing them as memory leak?

But when I click "Win7PE" or "Win7 Installation", usb boots "Windows 7 installation" sreen. Is there any tool for wim boot menu?

  • Best thing to do about projects supporting multiple versions of Visual Studio?

    I have an open source project that works on .Net 2.0 and up. The thing is though that I prefer to use Visual Studio 2012, which forces the solution and project files to only work with VS2010/2012. What exactly should I do? I don't want for my users to have to create a solution from scratch if they don't have access to VS2010, but yet, I also don't want to attempt to keep 3 different project files in sync(VS2005, VS2008, and VS2010/2012) What is the usual solution for this?

Error: HR_51118_HRPROC_ERR_ON_ASG ASGNO 1115 APP-PAY-51118: Error was encountered when processing assignment 1115 HR_51119_HRPROC_ERR_OCC_ON_ET ETNAME: Garnishment 3 APP-PAY-51119: Error was encountered when processing Element Type Garnishment 3 HR_6881_HRPROC_ORA_ERR SQLERRMC ORA-01403: No data found SQL_NO 520 TABLE_NAME pay_input_values_f APP-PAY-06881:Error ORA-01403: no data found has occured in table pay_input_values_f at location 520 This issue was logged in Bug 14679161 - QUICK PAY ERROR AFTER RUP (2012) AND WAGE ATTACHMENT UPGRADE APP-PAY-06881.   • Regular Expression Transformation

    The regular expression transformation exposes the power of regular expression matching within the pipeline. One or more columns can be selected, and for each column an individual expression can be applied. The way multiple columns are handled can be set on the options page. The AND option means all columns must match, whilst the OR option means only one column has to match. If rows pass their tests then rows are passed down the successful match output. Rows that fail are directed down the alternate output. This transformation is ideal for validating data through the use of regular expressions. You can enter any expression you like, or select a pre-configured expression within the editor. You can expand the list of pre-configured expressions yourself. These are stored in a Xml file, %ProgramFiles%\Microsoft SQL Server\nnn\DTS\PipelineComponents\RegExTransform.xml, where nnn represents the folder version, 90 for 2005, 100 for 2008 and 110 for 2012. If you want to use regular expressions to manipulate data, rather than just validating it, try the RegexClean Transformation. The component is provided as an MSI file, however for 2005/200 you will have to add the transformation to the Visual Studio toolbox by hand. This process has been described in detail in the related FAQ entry for How do I install a task or transform component?, just select Regular Expression Transformation in the Choose Toolbox Items window.     My configuration: Ubuntu 12.04 DHCP3-server eth0, eth1, eth2 Edit: removed br0&br1 eth0 is the external connection eth1 & eth2 are the internal network eth1 and eth2 are supposed to be seperate networks of student/teachers respectivly. What I would like to have is the internet from external device bridged to device 1 and 2, with the DHCP server controlling the two internal devices. Its already working with DHCP, the part I am stuck on is bridging for internet. I can get ip from the eth1 & eth2 devices, and my computer can see them, and them it, however, internet is not being passed through. If you need more information please just let me know.   • The path to MCSE:SharePoint. The Overview.

    There have been some changes to certifications recently.  And with that new challenges and requirements.  In the past we had MCTS and MCITP or MCPD on a specific product and that was it, now the story is somewhat different. You will need to not only know the product (yes, I am one that still focuses on knowing a product not the test) but also the environment on which it sits or lives (therefore Windows Server and supporting services). The requirements for MCSE: SharePoint now take you through the MCSA:Windows Server 2012.  Many have questioned this, I don’t. Why? I have seen plenty of “accidental SharePoint Farm Administrators” that have no background with the Server OS, much less with the services (like DNS and IIS).  Again, I am not saying this will guarantee knowledge but it does in some way require exposure to it. So, again, the next number of posts will be to provide guidance for the needed knowledge for the test requirements.  If you have seen the way I go about this, you then know I don’t focus on exam questions, but rather providing guidance to the TechNet and MSDN documentation to get to know the product.  I will also in this case go through the process to setup your virtual environment to play with the products and get to know them. Now, the requirements themselves are: MCSA: Windows Server 2012. Exam 70-410: Installing and Configuring Windows Server 2012 Exam 70-411: Administering Windows Server 2012 Exam 70-412: Configuring Advanced Windows Server 2012 Services SharePoint specific exams. Exam 70-331: Core Solutions of Microsoft SharePoint Server 2013 Exam 70-332: Advanced Solutions of Microsoft SharePoint Server 2013 Passing the 5 exams will grant you the MCSE: SharePoint credential.
