• Option to save project files for later use in Dreamweaver?

  Does anyone know of an extension or other way to allow me to save a set of files in a project for later use? Example: - Working on site A, opened html files A1-A15 (15 files) Received a request to work on site B, new files (number unimportant). I would like DW to remember that I was working on files A1-A15. Close the site A files and focus on just files from site B. Complete site B work. Reopen site A files altogether. Suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks!

  I was searching for a book to learn C#, but now i'm kinda stuck. I found many people asking the same question, and many people gave answers, but there are so many books about C# that it is really hard to decide which one to take. Now i reduced my choice on two books, but I just can't decide between them. Namely, there are: Programming C# 4.0 and C# 4.0 In A Nutshell The first thing I want to know, are these good choices? I'm not completely new to programming, but I just didn't find the right language until know, but i think C# is the one I was searching for. I know all the bassic stuff from Delphi/Java/Python so I think i'm not a complete beginner in programming. Is there anyone out there that read both books and can cleary explain whats the difference between them? I haven't found many reviews and sort of, so I just don't know which one to chose. Or is there any book that is better suiting me?

• Spurious resets on Ubuntu

  I have a PC running Ubuntu 13.04 64bit, and I do weekly updates, so everything should be up-to-date. Everything is running fine, but sometimes, once-twice a week a complete reset happens. I think it must be software or hardware (perhaps Videocard) related, but I can't figure out what could be wrong. Can anybody suggest some ways, log files, where I could continue to search? By looking just at dmesg/dmesg.0 and Xorg.0.log I got nowhere. I cant find even a user application segfault. Any help is really appreciated.

• Multi-module maven build : different result from parent and from module

  I am migrating an application from ant build to maven 3 build. This app is composed by : A parent project specifying all the modules to build A project generating classes with jaxb and building a jar with them A project building an ejb project 3 projects building war modules 1 project building an ear Here is an extract from my parent pom : <groupId>com.test</groupId> <artifactId>P</artifactId> <packaging>pom</packaging> <version>04.01.00</version> <modules> <module>../PValidationJaxb</module> <-- jar <module>../PValidation</module> <-- ejb <module>../PImport</module> <-- war <module>../PTerminal</module> <-- war <module>../PWebService</module> <-- war <module>../PEAR</module> <-- ear </modules> I have several problems which I think have the same origin, probably a dependency management issue that I cannot figure out : The generated modules are different depending on if I build from the parent pom or a single module. Typically if I build PImport only, the generated war is similar to what I had with my ant build and if I build from the parent pom, my war took 20MB, a lot of dependencies from other modules had been added. Both wars are running well. My project PWebService has unit tests to be executed during the build. It is using mock-ejb which has cglib as dependency. Having a problem of ClassNotFound with this one, I had to exclude it and add a dependency to cglib-nodep (see last pom extract). If I then build only this module, it is working well. But if I build from the parent project, it fails because other dependencies in other modules also had an implicit dependency on cglib. I had to exclude it in every modules pom and add the dependency to cglib-nodep everywhere to make it run. Do I miss something important in my configuration ? • C# creating a queue to handle jobs triggered by FileSystemWatcher

  I have built a small tray app that will watch a folder and when a new file is added it runs a job. The job is to watch for video files and convert them to .mp4 using handBrakeCli. I have all this logic worked out. The problem I run into is that if there is more than one file I want it to queue the job til the prior one is complete. I am fairly new to c# and I am not sure of the best way to handle this. one idea is to create a queue somehow, a file to store the commands in order maybe, then execute the next one after the process is complete. We are dealing with large movie files here so it can take a while. • Cant turn off Redirected Access on Cluster Shared Volumes 2008r2 Failover clustering

  I read up on LH Mode and am still boggled what it is and what it does. I pass all validation on the Failover cluster wizard but in the Event Viewer I get erros for Event ID 5121 and 1034 related to one of the disks that is in the CSV for my hyper v machines. We have two disks in the CSV for our hyper V farm. Everything seems to work just fine but im worried about the even viewer errors. I have also read that people are having problems like I turning off Redirected access.

  I'm trying to load Exchange Management Shell and it gives me a big 'ol red error that says: Import-Module : There were errors in loading the format data file: Microsoft.PowerShell, , %APPDATA%\Roaming\Microsoft\Exchange\RemotePowerShell\DOMAINNAME.format.ps1xml : File skipped because of the following validation exception: File %APPDATA%\Roaming\Microsoft\Exchange\RemotePowerShell\DOMAINNAME.format.ps1xml cannot be loaded. The file %APPDATA%\Roaming\Microsoft\ExchangeRemotePowerShell\DOMAINNAME\DOMAINNAME.format.ps1xml is not digitally signed. The script will not execute on the system. Please see "get-help about_signing" for more details... The %APPDATA% is stored on an external server on my network (that I can ping to without problems). I am missing a ton of PS cmdlets too, which I'm presuming are stored in '*.format.ps1xml' Can someone tell me where to start?

• Validating SSL clients using a list of authorised certificates instead of a Certificate Authority

  Is it possible to configure Apache (or any other SSL-aware server) to only accept connections from clients presenting a certificate from a pre-defined list? These certificates may be signed by any CA (and may be self-signed). A while back I tried to get client certificate validation working in the EPP system of the domain registry I work for. The EPP protocol spec mandates use of "mutual strong client-server authentication". In practice, this means that both the client and the server must validate the certificate of the other peer in the session. We created a private certificate authority and asked registrars to submit CSRs, which we then signed. This seemed to us to be the simplest solution, but many of our registrars objected: they were used to obtaining a client certificate from a CA, and submitting that certificate to the registry. So we had to scrap the system. I have been trying to find a way of implementing this system in our server, which is based on the mod_epp module for Apache.

• Multi-step Workflows: make Workflow A depend on results of Workflow B and/or Workflow C

  I have been tasked with creating a Software Installation Approval section for our Intranet. When a person requests that a particular piece of software be installed on their workstation, we need to get IT approval and then business approval. Once those are obtained, it is to be installed. I am using Sharepoint Designer to do this. I have List A, where the user enters the information on the requested software. Workflow A then creates a Task in List B, which is then assigned to the IT approver. Workflow B works on List B on item creation, setting the due dates, titles, and other fields, and then pauses until the due date. The IT approver works with the business side and completes the task. Once List B task is complete, the item in List A should be marked as complete -- I have everything up to this point working fine. I want to make this more robust in 2 ways. As the only real option is to mark List B task as "completed", which essentially means "Approved", we have no way of really denying a request. What I want to add is the option to approve or deny a request through the task on List B -- if it is approved, I want the item in List A to continue to show "In Progress" with a custom status of "Approved", and I want to create a new task for software installation; once the installation task is marked as completed, then I want List A to show "Completed" with a status of "Installed". If it is denied, I want the item in List A to show as "Completed", with a status of "Denied". The problem is, I'm not even sure where to start making these modifications. Creating and modifying the custom status fields isn't that big of an issue -- I have messed around with this and I'm fairly confident I can do this easily. My main concern is that I know I will need a Workflow C, but I don't know where or how to trigger this to get the results I need. I've managed to get Workflows A and B working fine, but anything beyond this is really pushing the limit of my knowledge. It's probably obvious that I am rather new to Sharepoint workflows. I was very much thrust into this position and I am still feeling my way around. Thanks in advance for any help!
