    Hi, I have 3 models Recommendation Job Qualification Recommendation model has two fields as work_type and work_id(foreign key for job/qualification based on work_type as "J"/"Q") I am facing problem in using counter_cache I have done this in recommendation.rb belongs_to :job , :counter_cache = true, :foreign_key = "work_id" belongs_to :qualification , :counter_cache = true, :foreign_key = "work_id" and in job and qualification model files has_many :recommendations , :conditions = {:work_type = "J"} has_many :recommendations , :conditions = {:work_type = "Q"} Both Job and Qualification Models have a column as recommendations_count The problem is every time an object of recommendation is created count is increased in the both the models Please help me with this Thanks

  • Orientation change event in Browser on Palm webOS

    I'm working on a web application where I'm trying to capture when the user rotates the screen. Fundamentally, I want to know if the user is browsing in portrait mode or landscape mode. The iPhone/iPad and Android browsers send a resize event when the screen orientation changes. Unfortunately, the browser in webOS doesn't seem to send that notification. Any advice on how to detect in the browser any changes in orientation on Palm webOS? Thanks.

    Hi all, I have been working around in UIImagePickerController and am struck with a problem where I need to get the precise moment when the camera shutter opens in UIImagePickerController when the source type is set to camera (UIImagePickerControllerSourceTypeCamera). I have done some googling around and have realized that no one had such strange requirement! I looked around the docs of UIImagePickerController and UIImagePickerControllerDelegate hoping to get some delegate method / callback indicating the camera shutter open event, but did not find any.     I need to copy and paste the data from one Excel spreadsheet to another based on column name. For example, one shreadsheet has columns named like Asset, Asset owner. Another spreadsheet has column named like Application, Application Owner. Now I want "Asset" column data to copy and paste into the "Application" column in another spreadsheet. The same way "Asset owner" column data should copy and paste into the "Application Owner" column in the other spreadsheet.

    Hi, I am using cakephp 1.1. for my project.I used ajax-form for form creation.In one form, form submitted using onchange event of selectTag taking submit button and giving submit.click for that button.But it peroperly not redirect to view file gives error "cake/libs/model/datasources/dbo_source.php" and submit that form,but I am not getting to which view it is submitting(submittied form to itself).

    Does anyone have a sample post build event for Babel Obfuscator I can just copy and paste into my .net assembly release build configuration? The documentation for Babel is 54 pages long, and unfortunately doesn't come with any real world samples on how to use it with Visual Studio integration. Failing that , is there a free obfuscator out there that integrates well with VS 2008 post build, so that it will obfuscate the release DLL during each new build. I was using Eazfuscator which broke since they released version 2.8. Thank you
