  • Ubuntu doesn't detect drives conected to LSI "Host Bus Adapter"

    I purchased LSI SAS 9300-4i Host Bus Adapter, from card bios I can see that it detected all hard drives connected to it, but from ubuntu I can't see them.   • Driver for Ensoniq AudioPCI ES1370 on Windows 7

    KVM is a virtualisation package for running operating systems such as Windows on Linux. Windows XP works fine in this, but Windows 7 fails to recognise the sound card. According to the documentation, the soundcard is a Ensoniq AudioPCI ES1370. Does anyone know where I can find a driver for this, or a compatible driver that will run under 7. I've not tried this in Vista as yet.

  • Pairing Sony bluetooth headphones with my laptop

    Hi there, I have the Sony DR-BT50 wireless headphones. I've been able to successfully pair them to my iPhone and play music through them, but no such luck with my PC. I can add it to the bluetooth devices, but when the "Driver Software Installation" screen comes up, I get a red X and "No driver found". Any ideas how to fix this? (I have a bluetooth keyboard & mouse paired successfully, so it's not a problem with my laptop's bluetooth.)

    I had Windows Vista on my computer and wanted to upgrade to Windows 7 and thought that I would format my computer since it had been awhile. When I installed Windows 7 it wouldnt let me it would go through all the installation and then when my computer rebooted it would just be black screen with my mouse, I have tried mulitpule times now, and have just gone backs to Windows Vista, this no longer works and does the same thing as when I tried to insta I have a Nvidia GTX 275 video card, ASUS m2N-E SLI mother board,and a AMD 5200 Dual core processor

After I type my password at the logon screen, the blue background is supposed to fade away smoothly and show the desktop, but on my machine the transition is jerky. I have now two connections on my ATI graphic card: a VGA and newly added a DVI one. like this: Sine that, I need to start my computer with monitors powered ON, because if I do it after, thay does not "get up" and says that is "no video entry". Also, if I switch OFF my monitors when computer works, switching ON lets them in the sleep state... How can I fix this issue.

    i have a icy box ib mp3010hw media player i have it on wireless and have it connected to my tp link wr641g router and can access the radio on the net the problem i have is vista sp2 does not see it and i don't know how to go about making it find it. i ran the ping test i think it is by going through Firefox ip addy is 192.168.1.101 and it came up with a simple HTML+cgi example which im assuming means it working. i don't know wot else to do.

    Hi all, I'm running OpenSuse 11.2 and Wine 1.1.28. Even if audio is perfectly working fine for me (Skype, Banshee, etc), when I try to configure audio for Wine (to use Spotify) I cannot hear anything from the audio test. In the winecfg audio tab, ALSA is checked, but no devices are available. I tried to run alsaconf (it needs root permissions) but it returns: No supported PnP or PCI card found No legacy drivers available, either. Any idea?

    I happened to fire up Console.app today and found lots of these messages in the log: 13/12/2011 22:54:09.291 de.devolo.networkservice: [pktifc] write: Device not configured They are being generated 8 times every 5-second interval. My network is setup as shown in the attached diagram where there are two Devolo powerline network adapters connecting the wireless access point upstairs to my modem/wifi access point/dhcp server device downstairs. I want to know what these messages mean, whether they are a problem and if so, how to solve it.

    My screen flickers at 1280 x 1024, 75 hertz, 32 bit color, Dell Monitor e190s 19 inch square monitor. This problem only at the above mentioned resolution , it works fine with other resolutions. I just bought this Monitor 2 days back, do you think the Monitor is defective ? Why is this problem occurring , the system says this is the recommended resolution.     Can anyone recommend a good eSATA PCIe card for Windows Server 2008 (x64)? I bought a J-Micron JMB363 and it's recognized by the OS and I can install one of their reference drivers, but it's not picking up the drive I have attached to it. Basically, I want to be able to transfer exported Hyper-V machines quickly to an external drive, and it seems that using one of these eSATA cards is the way to go.
