    Heya, I'm fetching a page using ajax (jquery) and appending certain data to the Requests query string to let the server know it shouldn't render the entire Page, just the view in question to the output buffer. I'm having no luck though, I can detect when the page needs to be rendered partially, but everything I've tried so far (including stuff like return PartialView()) isn't working. Any ideas? It periodically takes screenshots to the specified area. When you start recording, it hides (decativates) the window. On a Mac, when you give an application focus, any hidden windows will activate. It's not too hard to detect the rollover in calling code, but it adds some complexity, and (worse) requires keeping a state. Is there some replacement for timeGetTime that would not have this wrap-around problem (probably by returning a 64-bit value), and have roughly the same precision and cost?
