    Hello. I'm trying to find some information regarding the available GPU (for OpenGL) memory on the T-Mobile G1. This phone has a MSM7200 Qualcomm chip inside with ATI Imageon GPU. Unfortunately I am not able to dig any info regarding the specifics of GPU memory usage. How much memory is available in total for the textures? Is the memory shared with the CPU memory?     I have a RichTextBox and need to serialize its content to my database purely for storage purposes. It would appear that I have a choice between serializing as XAML or as RTF, and am wondering if there are any advantages to serializing to XAML over RTF, which I would consider as more "standard". In particular, am I losing any capability by serializing to RTF instead of XAML? I understand XAML supports custom classes inside the FlowDocument, but I'm not currently using any custom classes (though the potential for extensibility might be enough reason to use XAML).

  • Is there a way to change the map data for the Android Google Map API?

    I need to use a different datasource inside a map in Android than the google provided data. Is there a way to change the datasource to a tile based service (openstreetmap.org for example)? Or are there other Android map APIs which are OpenSource and can be adapted (except Ericcson Mobile Maps - this doesn't work for me because of the licence)? It doesent have to have a server side part - a rich function library would be enough.

  • Make a jqGrid moveable

    As it appears that jqGrid is based on the jQuery dialog, is it possible to make it movable (like a dialog)? I've been able to put it inside of a dialog but it looks odd with two title bars and such. I'd "think" that the necessary class could be added to it to make it movable but I'm still fairly new at both jQuery and jqGrid.

    Hi, some short and probably stupid questions about PBS: 1- I submit jobs using qsub job_file is it possible to submit a (sub)job inside a job file? 2- I have the following script: qsub job_a qsub job_b For launching job_b, it would be great to have before the results of job_a finished. Is it possible to put some kind of barrier or some otehr workaround so job_b is not launched until job_a finished? Thanks

We're using IronPython, so we can't statically bind the event in the xaml (plus we use the grid for many different views - so we dynamically generate the xaml).   • How do I use the Windows API Code Pack in VB.net 2010 Express?

    Hi all, I recently downloaded the Windows API code pack for .net, and seeing there was VB.net examples inside there, I opened them up. Upon building I get a warning that the referenced components 'Core' and 'Shell' could not be found. Looking in the code pack folder I see there are no DLLs at all, but instead a whole load of C# sources. Do I have to download C# Express (which I want to avoid) to use the code pack or are there precompiled DLLs somewhere?

Does anybody know a JavaScript Widget of some sort that can do syntax highlighting for HTML within a Textarea or similar, while still staying a plain text editor (no WYSIWYG or advanced functions)?

  • NSManagedObject relationship undo

    I have a NSManagedObject ObjA that has a many-to-many relationship with another NSManagedObject ObjB. I initialize it with [NSEntityDescription insertNewObjectForEntityForName:@"ObjA" inManagedObjectContext:app.context]; When I perform undo without performing save - the object is not added to the persistent store. But - when I add an item to the collection inside ObjA and then perform undo - the ObjA is not added, but ObjB is not, it's still lingering in the persisten store for some reason. Any ideas what am I doing wrong?

    Hello, I'm using a slightly customized version of jwysiwyg for a website. I'm trying to change CSS values inside the textarea replacement (the iFrame where the text gets written) - but I just can't seem to figure out how. Do I have to create a new style sheet to apply to the iFrame? Specifically, I want to change the iframe's :active and font: css settings. Thanks, Walker

    Is it good practice to have a Factory method to retrieve injected objects or is it OK to just use the factory method from the DI framework? I'm using structure map, should I just use ObjectFactory.GetInstance();, or should I create factory class and inside this class call ObjectFactory.GetInstance();? because if I call ObjectFactory.GetInstance(); in my classes I would be creating coupling to the DI framework? sorry if I'm being ignorant, I'm new to this concepts.
