• Titanium won't run iPhone/Android Emulator

  I just installed Titanium SDK (1.5.1) and all the Android SDKs. Also, I already have iPhone SDK 4.2 installed. I downloaded KitchenSink and imported it into Titanium but whenever I try to run it on iPhone Emulator, I get this error: [INFO] One moment, building ...   I have a custom checkbox with these attributes: android:id="@+id/map_toolbar_details" android:layout_width="80px" android:layout_height="106px" android:scaleType="center" macro:selectedResource="@drawable/map_toolbar_details_selected" android:button="@drawable/map_toolbar_details" When I load it up, the image gets stretched, even though it's set to scaleType center. If I set a background, I do not have this problem.

• CSS: Aligning problem with rounded corners in IE 6/7 but ok in IE8/ Firefox etc

  Hi there, can anyone help? I have a problem aligning rounded corners in IE6/7. Basically everything seems to work in Firefox / IE8 but in IE6/7 the left / center / and right divs get misaligned. This basically shows exactly what i am refering to. here is the example in IE8 and everything works ok http://es.drop.io/ern0fye/asset/ie8-jpg And here is the problem (this example is running in IE8 with compat mode set to IE7) http://es.drop.io/ern0fye/asset/ie7-jpg I seem to remember there being a bug in IE6/7 with lineheight or similar but i don't recall exactly. Basically there is a left div that holds the left corner image and center div which has a background of RED which is the same as the corner images and finally a right div which holds the right corner image. I would appreciate any input anyone has. Thanks in advance.   Hi all, I've got the following regular expression that works fine on my testing server, but just returns an empty string on my hosted server. $text = preg_replace('~[^\\pL\d]+~u', $use, $text); Now I'm pretty sure this comes down to the hosting server version of PCRE not being compiled with Unicode property support enabled. The differences in the two versions are as follows: My server: PCRE version 7.8 2008-09-05 Compiled with UTF-8 support Unicode properties support Newline sequence is LF \R matches all Unicode newlines Internal link size = 2 POSIX malloc threshold = 10 Default match limit = 10000000 Default recursion depth limit = 10000000 Match recursion uses stack Hosting server: PCRE version 4.5 01-December-2003 Compiled with UTF-8 support Newline character is LF Internal link size = 2 POSIX malloc threshold = 10 Default match limit = 10000000 Match recursion uses stack Also note that the version on the hosting server (the same version PHP is compiled against) is pretty old. What confuses me though, is that pcretest fails on both servers from the command line with re> ~[^\\pL\d]+~u ** Unknown option 'u' although this regexp works fine when run from PHP on my server. So, I guess my questions are does the regular expression fail on the hosting server because of the lack of Unicode properties? Or is there something else that I'm missing? Thanks all, Gaz.

• Titanium Appcelerator - After enabling cloud services I get UnicodeDecodeError when compiling for Android

  I've got an app that has a UTF8 name (hebrew). I use the platform/android/AndroidManifest.xml file for this. I've managed to narrow it down to the Ti.cloudpush module. only when I enable this module I get the error. • How to change the coordinate origin in Flash's stage with Actionscript?

  I think I did this before but can't find the code. Flash as many other graphical frameworks use the top-left corner as the coordinate origin (0,0) because it's how the underlying memory model is by convention. But it would be really simpler for my calculations if the origin was in the center of the stage, because all the game revolves around the center and uses a lot of trigonometry, angles, etc. Is there some built-in method like Stage::setOrigin( uint, uint ); or something like that?

What I would like to know is the following: I have taken exam 70-526 a couple of years ago and I still have the training kit laying around. Now my boss wants me to prepare for the upgrade exam 70-505. Do you know if both exams are similar or otherwise put: do you think I have to get the new training kit to prepare for this exam or will the old one do?   Hi, (On behalf of a collegue) In one of our functionality we have some date fields for inline edit where we have enabled manual input. If in rich:calendar component, we manually enter improper date or junk data it will not even call the action method. As per our requirement we need to display an error message for date validation for these kind of fields. Is there any way to track that the date entered in the calendar field is improper with this component. • Position of builtInZoomControls in WebView and MapView

  I noticed that the position of the builtInZoomControls in WebView (bottom, horizontal right) is not consistent with the default position in the MapView (bottom, horizontal center). 1) Why is that not consistent? (Probably a question to be asked to Google) 2) Is there a way to horizontal center the builtInZoomControls of the WebView without applying custom Zoom controls? Or is that the only way?

• Draw Lines Over a Circle

  There's a line A-B and C at the center between A and B. It forms a circle as in the figure. If we assume A-B line as a diameter of the circle and then C is it's center. My problem is I have no idea how to draw another three lines (in blue) each 45 degree away from AC or AB.
