  • RuntimeException: Could not start Selenium session: Internal Server Error

    I am trying to detect a midair collision problem (simultaneous editin) using selenium.   • Controling virtualbox internet access?

    I am finally going through the process of moving my XP into a vbox (host linux). The thing is that I am migrating a virtually clean install. So aside from the occasional antivirus scan, I want to make sure that my XP is not sending malware data (keystoke.logs, spam etc. ) out silently ( and thus having picked up some virus ). To that end I want to limit XP to contacting my LAN and a few internet sites. ( mainly sites that require proprietary windows only software to access, AV sites and Windows update ). I want XP to only access preapproved addresses. If it is trying to contact a nonapproved address, I want it somehow logged and access restricted until I allow access. I also don't want to have to decide whether to allow access to a site at my leisure. To keeps things clear let me give an example: I start my vbox/XP ( which I call MYXP) running on my linux box ( called MYLINUX connecting to the net through a linksys wrt54g ) and connects via samba to my LAN ( since my LAN seems to be possessed of every evil thing, it's address is 192.168.666. ). At the moment my configuration is set so that I allow MYXP to access 192.168.666 and www.MYANTIVIRUS_UPDATES.com and www.MS_UPDATES.com. Then on the VM I start a program which tries to make a connection to www.playmygame.com . www.playmygame.com is on my preapproved list so the connection goes through. Later I check attempted accesses and discover that it also tried to connect to www.mygame_high_scores.com I figure this is OK so I add www.mygame_high_scores.com to my approved list. Later, I again check address and discover that my VM/XP tried to access www.mygame_steals_your_identity.com. I do some checking and discover the address is registered to someone in Kiev, Nigeria. Since this doesn't sound kosher to me, I replace the MYXP VM with one that was backed up before I installed mygame. I remove www.playmygame.com and www.mygame_high_scores.com from my access list for MYXP. It should acomplish this with little overheard. When I am not running the VM ideally it should not have any overhead. Suggestions?

  • Why do I get Detached Entity exception when upgrading Spring Boot 1.1.4 to 1.1.5

    On updating Spring Boot from 1.1.4 to 1.1.5 a simple web application started generating detached entity exceptions. Specifically, a post authentication inteceptor that bumped number of visits was causing the problem. A quick check of loaded dependencies showed that Spring Data has been updated from 1.6.1 to 1.6.2 and a further check of the change log shows a couple of issues relating to optimistic locking, version fields and JPA issues that have been fixed. Well I am using a version field and it starts out as Null following recommendation to not set in the specification. I have produced a very simple test scenario where I get detached entity exceptions if the version field starts as null or zero. If I create an entity with version 1 however then I do not get these exceptions. Is this expected behaviour or is there still something amiss? Below is the test scenario I have for this condition. In the scenario the service layer that has been annotated @Transactional. Each test case makes multiple calls to the service layer - the tests are working with detached entities as this is the scenario I am working with in the full blown application. The test case comprises four tests: Test 1 - versionNullCausesAnExceptionOnUpdate() In this test the version field in the detached object is Null. This is how I would usually create the object prior to passing to the service. This test fails with a Detached Entity exception. I would have expected this test to pass. If there is a flaw in the test then the rest of the scenario is probably moot. Test 2 - versionZeroCausesExceptionOnUpdate() In this test I have set the version to value Long(0L). This is an edge case test and included because I found reference to Zero values being used for version field in the Spring Data change log. This test fails with a Detached Entity exception. Of interest simply because the following two tests pass leaving this as an anomaly. Test 3 - versionOneDoesNotCausesExceptionOnUpdate() In this test the version field is set to value Long(1L). Not something I would usually do, but considering the notes in the Spring Data change log I decided to give it a go. This test passes. Would not usually set the version field, but this looks like a work-around until I figure out why the first test is failing. Test 4 - versionOneDoesNotCausesExceptionWithMultipleUpdates() Encouraged by the result of test 3 I pushed the scenario a step further and perform multiple updates on the entity that started life with a version of Long(1L). This test passes. Reinforcement that this may be a useable work-around. I have multiple subfolders (http://www.site.com/es and http://www.site.com/de) that each have a respective .htaccess file. When accessing these folders, the .htaccess file does this to "silently" redirect the user and add the appropriate php variable: ------- Options +FollowSymlinks RewriteEngine on RewriteOptions MaxRedirects=10 rewriterule ^http://www.site.com/es/$ http://www.site.com/?l=es [P,R=301] rewriterule ^(.*)$ http://www.site.com/$1?l=es [P,R=301] ------- When someone accesses the root directory: http://www.site.com, I want to add a ?l=en suffix "silently" to the url.   • How to setup .htaccess to rewrite to different folder

    I'm moving my site to a new host but I need to have my current server continue to handle requests (not all files can be moved to the new server). So I added a parked domain to my old server (old.mydomain.com) and I want all requests to it to be written to the files from the old site. My old site (mydomain.com) was hosted internally in a folder (/public_html/mydomain/) and I want all requests to old.mydomain.com to be rewritten to the same folder. So if mydomain.com/blog was internally at /public_html/mydomain/blog I now want old.mydomain.com/blog also to reach /public_html/mydomain/blog. Here is the .htaccess that I'm trying to use: RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^old\.mydomain\.com/* RewriteRule ^(.*)$ mydomain/$1 [NC,L] but for some reason as soon as I add the $1 in the rewrite rule I get an internal error. Any ideas?

    I'm working on a cross-platform app for Windows and Mac OS X, and I have a problem with two standard C library functions: strtod() (string-to-double conversion) ? sprintf (when used for outputting double-precision floating point numbers) -- their GCC and MSVC versions return different results. I'm looking for a well-tested cross-platform open-source implementation of those functions, or just for a pair of functions that would correctly and consistently convert double to string and back. I've already tried the clib GCC implementation, but the code is too long and too dependent on other source files, so I expect the adaptation to be difficult. What implementations of string-to-double and double-to-string functions would you recommend?

    Hi, I have a website A.com and a domain at B.com with a widget inside an iframe getting data from A.com. I want to allow x-domain cookies to be passed from a.com to inside the iframe using ASP.NET My understanding is that - I can do this in IE using P3P Headers - such that the A.com cookie is passed to the iframe and session | cookie data is preserved. The P3P headers have to be sent from the A.com and from the iframe. Is this correct ? In dev, my understanding is if I "accept all cookies" in IE - then P3P headers won't matter anyway and so this should all just work. If I put on Medium Security then P3P is required.

I think file_get_contents() is bringing back data that isn't XML, maybe some Javascript files judging by the iPhone parts in the errors. Is there any way to just get back the XML from that page?     I've been cap deploying my app all throughout it development, and this last time I tried to deploy it, it didn't work. I don't get why that command would have tried to do anything with FactoryGirl, though. Any ideas?

    Is there any good library for lossless image encoding/decoding that has compression rate more or less similar to PNG but decoding to raw RGB bitmap data would be much faster than PNG? Also alpha transparency is needed, but not essential because, alpha channel could be taken from separate image. Original problem lies in slowness of reading and decoding PNG files on iPhone using standard libraries. Obvious and the simples solution would have been storing raw RGB bitmap data, but then size of unpacked ipa is too large - 4 times larger than PNG files. So, I am trying to find some compromise solution.

  • Actionscript can't call javasript from locally-saved html

    I try to perform calling of a javascript function from actionscript 3.0 thru ExternalInterface.call(). I've seen a lot of online examples where the method works perfectly. But all downloaded copies of the examples don't work. Flash player can't call javasript due to the swf-html container security problems. I've already tried to set allowScriptAccess value from "sameDomain" to "always". It haven't solved the problem.

  • Linux - Create ftp account with read/write access to only 1 folder

I have never worked on linux and dont plan on working on it either - The only command I probably know is "ls" :) I am hosting my website on Eapps and use their cpanel to setup everything so never worked with linux. Now I have this one time case - where I need to provide access to a contractor to fix the CSS issues on my website. He basically needs FTP (read/write) access to certain folders. At a high level - this is my code structure /home/webadmin/example.com/html/images /css /js /login.php /facebook.php /home/webadmin/example.com/application/library /views /models /controllers /config /bootstrap.php /home/webadmin/example.com/cgi-bin I want the new user to be able to have access to only these folders /home/webadmin/example.com/html/js /home/webadmin/example.com/html/css /home/webadmin/example.com/application/views He should not be able to view even the content of other folders including files like bootstrap.php or login.php etc If any sys admins can help me set this account up - will really appreciate it.   • arbitrary typed data in django model

    I have a model, say, Item. I want to store arbitrary amount of attributes on it, like title, description, release_date. And i want them to be not just strings but have python type, so string, boolean, datetime etc. What are my options here? EAV pattern with separate name-value table won't work because of the same DB type across all values. JSONField can probably help, but it doesn't know about datetime, for example. Also i was looking at PickeField, it fits perfectly, but i'm a bit concerned about performance.
