  • How to reduce virtual memory by optimising my PHP code?

    My current code (see below) uses 147MB of virtual memory! My provider has allocated 100MB by default and the process is killed once run, causing an internal error. The code is utilising curl multi and must be able to loop with more than 150 iterations whilst still minimizing the virtual memory. The code below is only set at 150 iterations and still causes the internal server error. At 90 iterations the issue does not occur. How can I adjust my code to lower the resource use / virtual memory?     Program a SCHEME function sat that takes one argument, a CNF formula represented as above. If we had evaluated (define cnf '((a (not b) c) (a (not b) (not d)) (b d))) then evaluating (sat cnf) would return #t, whereas (sat '((a) (not a))) would return (). You should have following two functions to work: (define comp (lambda (lit) ; This function takes a literal as argument and returns the complement literal as the returning value. Examples: (comp 'a) = (not a), and (comp '(not b)) = b. (define consistent (lambda (lit path) This function takes a literal and a list of literals as arguments, and returns #t whenever the complement of the first argument is not a member of the list represented by the 2nd argument; () otherwise. . Now for the sat function. The real searching involves the list of clauses (the CNF formula) and the path that has currently been developed. The sat function should merely invoke the real "workhorse" function, which will have 2 arguments, the current path and the clause list. In the initial call, the current path is of course empty.   • Draw Circle on the Map once the application gets loaded

    Background:- In my application what is happening currently- Whenever I am opening the application, In the top half of the android screen, it draws a Map and in the bottom half of the android screen it show's a list view. And then as soon as the location gets changed, it draw's a Circle with the current location as the center of the circle and show's an image at the current location(center of circle). Everything is working fine till here- Problem Statement:- What I want is when the user opens my application, circle should get draw immediately on the Google Map (this is currently not happening, it draw's circle only on the location changed), without waiting for the location to get changed and without any image on the center of circle and then if the location get's changed, take the current location as the center of circle and draw the circle with an image at the center of circle. And this is my below code which fulfills the scenario that I mentioned in my Background- How can I make this code to work the way I wanted to? hope I am clear enough in my question.     Hi, I run a LVM setup on a raid1 created by mdadm. md2 is based on sda6 (major:minor 8:6) and sdb6 (8:22). md2 is partition 9:2. The VG on top of md2 has 4 LVs, var, home, usr, tmp. First the problem: While booting it seems as if the device mapper takes the wrong partition for the mapping!     My MacBook Pro runs slower the longer it's on. I am getting kernel warnings. Some, but not all, resets correlate with AC power connects and disconnects. I don't think the warnings do. (How do I tell?) What are these errors? What causes them? Can this damage the drive or corrupt data? (How do I tell?) What are these errors? What causes them? Can this damage the drive or corrupt data?   • Application pool crashing regularly (8007006d) (Service Unavailable)

    I have a basic web form site running. Nothing out of the ordinary. It is frequently crashing the application pool. The error code I got from the logs is '8007006d'. Googling this does not come up with the usual bevy of results.... I do get a few people with a similar problem. Any the advise seems to be that the error is related to registry permissions. Can anyone confirm / disconfirm this theory. That if I get error 8007006d it is definately a reg permissions problem? Here is the code from my page.   • Random pauses with "Key dispatching timed out sending to <null>" when closing Android SurfaceView

    When I close an Android SurfaceView Activity, the app sometimes pauses and almost gets an ANR (Application Not Responding) message. Looking at LogCat, it appears to be timing out trying to send keys to it. I tried modifying the code to setFocusable(false) when in the onKeyDown handler for the SurfaceView, but that doesn't seem to affect this. Any other ideas on what might be causing this?   • Abcpdf throwing System.ExecutionEngineException

    I have the binary for several pdf files stored in a collection of Byte arrays. My goal is to concatenate them into a single .pdf file using abcpdf, then stream that newly created file to the Response object on a page of an ASP.Net website. Had been doing it like this: BEGIN LOOP ... 'Create a new Doc Dim doc As Doc = New Doc 'Read the binary of the current PDF doc.Read(bytes) 'Append to the master merged PDF doc _mergedPDFDoc.Append(Doc) END LOOP Which was working fine 95% of the time. Every now and then however, creating a new Doc object would throw a System.ExecutionEngineException and crash the CLR. It didn't seem to be related to a large number of pdfs (sometimes would happen w/ only 2), or with large sized pdfs. It seemed almost completely random. This is a known bug in abcpdf described (not very well) here Item 6.24. I came across a helpful SO post which suggested using a Using block for the abcpdf Doc object. So now I'm doing this: Using doc As New Doc 'Read the binary of the current PDF doc.Read(bytes) 'Append to the master merged PDF doc _mergedPDFDoc.Append(doc) End Using And I haven't seen the problem occur again yet, and have been pounding on a test version as best as I can to get it to. Has anyone had any similar experience with this error? Did this fix it?

  • Interpret Objective C scripts at runtime on iPhone?

    Is there anyway to load an objective c script at runtime, and run it against the classes/methods/objects/functions in the current iPhone app? The reason i ask is that I've been playing around with iPhone wax, a lua interpreter that can be embedded in an iPhone app, and it works very nicely, in the sense that any object/method/function that's publically available in your Objective C code is automatically bridged, and available in lua. This allows you to rapidly prototype applications by simply making the core of your app be lua files that are in the users documents directory. Just reload the app, and you can test out changes to your lua files without needing to rebuild the app in XCode - a big time saver! But, with Apples recent 3.1.3 SDK stuff, it got me thinking that the safest approach for doing this type of rapid prototypeing would be if you could use Objective C as the interpreted code... That way, worst case scenario, you could just compile it into your app before your release, instead. I have heard that the lua source can be compiled to byte code, and linked in at build time, but I think the ultimate safe thing would be if the scripted source was in objective c, not lua. This leads me to wondering (i've searched, but come up with nothing) if there are any examples on how to embed an Objective C Interpreter in an iPhone app? This would allow you to rapidly prototype your app against the current classes that are built into your binary, and, when your about to deploy your app, instead of running the classes through the in app interpreter, you compile them in instead.

Yet when trying to add a loaded ResourceDictionary to the mergeddictionaries I get an InvalidOperationException saying "The calling thread cannot access this object because a different thread owns it." at a point where I am not even using multiple threads. The application contains a usercontrol which loads the xaml file through a background worker, adding the loaded ResourceDictionaries to an Observablecollection. And its accesable untill trying to use the ResourceDictionary. This makes me confused, and not very aware of how to proceed, any help is appreciated.

I think that both the number of objects in my data source or context and the number of rows in my table view should be 1. However, I got an exception in the event of tabView:numberOfRowsInSection: Invalid update: invalid number of rows in section 0. The number of rows contained in an existing section after the update (0) must be equal to the number of rows contained in that section before the update (0), plus or minus the number of rows inserted or deleted from that section (1 inserted, 0 deleted).     I have a left-positioned navigation that shows/hides content on the right. Currently, when you click a link, it fades in the corresponding content on the right and adds an active class to that link. My problem is that if you click the active link again, the content on the right keeps on fading in again. I would like to unbind that click while the link is active, and if you click on another navigation link (subsequently removing the class from the previous link and adding it to the current one) rebind the click event to all inactive links.     I've read Vimdiff and Viewing differences with Vimdiff plus doing various google searches using things like "vimdiff multiple", "vimdiff git", "vimdiff commands" etc. When using do or diffg I get the error "More than two buffers in diff mode, don't know which one to use". When using diffg v:fname_in I get "No matching buffer for v:fname_in". From the vimdiff documentation: :[range]diffg[et] [bufspec] Modify the current buffer to undo difference with another buffer. If [bufspec] is given, that buffer is used. If [bufspec] refers to the current buffer then nothing happens. Otherwise this only works if there is one other buffer in diff mode. and more: When 'diffexpr' is not empty, Vim evaluates to obtain a diff file in the format mentioned. These variables are set to the file names used: v:fname_in original file v:fname_new new version of the same file v:fname_out resulting diff file So, I need to get the name of bufspec, but the default variables (fname_in, fname_new, and fname_out) aren't set. I ran the command git mergetool on a linux box through a terminal.

  • CUDA linking error - Visual Express 2008 - nvcc fatal due to (null) configuration file

    Hi, I've been searching extensively for a possible solution to my error for the past 2 weeks. I have successfully installed the Cuda 64-bit compiler (tools) and SDK as well as the 64-bit version of Visual Studio Express 2008 and Windows 7 SDK with Framework 3.5. I'm using windows XP 64-bit. I have confirmed that VSE is able to compile in 64-bit as I have all of the 64-bit options available to me using the steps on the following website: (since Visual Express does not inherently include the 64-bit packages) http://jenshuebel.wordpress.com/2009/02/12/visual-c-2008-express-edition-and-64-bit-targets/ I have confirmed the 64-bit compile ability since the "x64" is available from the pull-down menu under "Tools-Options-VC++ Directories" and compiling in 64-bit does not result in the entire project being "skipped". I have included all the needed directories for 64-bit cuda tools, 64 SDK and Visual Express (\VC\bin\amd64).   • C++ Profiling: KiFastSystemCallRet

    I searched for this after seeing it's the top rated item when profiling using Very Sleepy, and it seems everyone gets the answer "it's a system function, ignore it". But Sleepy's hint for the function says: Hint: KiFastSystemCallRet often means the thread was waiting for something else to finish. Possible causes might be disk I/O, waiting for an event, or maybe just calling Sleep(). Now, my app is absolutely thrashing the CPU and so it's a bit weird 33% of the time is spent waiting for something to happen. Do I really just ignore it? EDIT: apparently, 77% of the calls to this come from QueryOglResource (?) which is in module nvd3dnum. I think that might be nvidia Direct3D stuff, i.e rendering.

This is my current status of the stylesheet. Is there a way to inherit the default ListView Row background within that buttons?
