    I am trying to reproduce a working HelloGoogleMaps app in Open Street Maps - but I have trouble including the itemized overlay in OSMdroid. I have looked at several resources but I cannot figure out how to fix the error on OsmItemizedOverlay - I guess I am constructing OsmItemizedOverlay wrongly or have a mixup with OsmItemizedOverlay and ItemizedOverlay? But everything I tried to change just raised more errors... "Implicit super constructor ItemizedOverlay() is undefined.   • Not able to get data from Json completely

    i am getting JSON data from http://abinet.org/?json=1 and displaying the titles in a ListView. the code is working fine but the problem is, it is skipping few titles in my ListView and one title is being repeated. You can see the json data from url given above by copy paste it in JSON editor online http://www.jsoneditoronline.org/ i want titles in the "posts" array to be displayed in ListView, however it is being displayed like this: if you see the JSON data from the link above, its missing like 3 titles (they should come between the first and second title) and 5th title is being repeated. Dont know why this is happening. What minor adjustments i need to do?   • rails, activerecord callbacks not saving

    I have a model with a callback that runs after_update: after_update :set_state protected def set_state if self.valid? self.state = 'complete' else self.state = 'in_progress' end end But it doesn't actually save those values, why not? Regardless of if the model is valid or not it won't even write anything, even if i remove the if self.valid? condition, I can't seem to save the state. Um, this might sound dumb, do I need to run save on it?

    I recently built a site using Asp.Net. The way I chose to implement user login is through a base 'UserAwareController' class, that all controllers extend. It contained a reference to the UserRepository, and exposed a protected GetCurrentUser() method that concrete controllers could query. The whole process felt a bit wishy-washy to me. Is Action Filters a good alternative? What are its benefits? Is there something else I might be missing?

    I'm trying to deploy a Yii webapp into Heroku but, it keep throwing at me a weird error: Application runtime path "/app/www/protected/runtime" is not valid. Please make sure it is a directory writable by the Web server process. Makes no sense and I know is something to do with Heroku because in my local machine it works fine.
