  • Creating a server of an xp computer?

    Hey, I want to create a server for my website since what I'm going to have on the website is far more than I can store web hotel. So I have this xp computer I'd like to use as a server. I did have a guide of this but unfortunately the link broke. But what i understood was that I'd be in need of a windows 2000 disc for this to work. Do you have any good tutorials/guides about how I can remake my xp computer to a server? The computer is running windows xp home edition Service Pack 2 Thank you in advance!

  • How to link data in different worksheets

    I tried consolidation but I can not get the following to work as it keeps saying no data consolidated. Can somebody try this dummy application and if they figure out how to do the following below can give me a step by step guide so I can attempt myself to learn. I'm not sure if I need to use any coding for this: In the dummy application I have 2 worksheets. One known as "1st", the other "Cases". In the "1st" worksheet you can insert and delete records for the "Case" table at the bottom, what I want to do is insert a row into the Case Table in worksheet "1st" and enter in the data for that row. What should happen is that data should be automatically be updated in the table in the "Cases" worksheet. But I can't seem to get this to work. Also if I delete a row from the table in Worksheet "1st" it should automatically remove that record from the "Cases" worksheet table. Please help. Below is the spreadsheet: http://ge.tt/8sjdkVx/v/0

  • Running IPv4 program in IPv6 network

    I have an IPv4 windows client program and IPv4 Linux server. What I need is to run them in pure IPv6 network, although machines have dual stack. At the beginning I thought it's not a problem: I'll use 4in6 protocol (rfc2473) and that's all. I found a simple guide for Linux configuration here, but when I started to configuring windows 7, I couldn't find how to do it. There are plenty of info on how to tunnel IPv6 over IPv4 (6in4, Teredo) but not an opposite. Does anyone know how to do it? Thank you.

    Let's say I have two hosts. One acts as the server where gmetad and a local gmond resides. It also has the web interface. I then have a client that only has gmond configure as follows. Anyways, everything works fine if i remove the mcast_join line from the udp_recv_channel If I leave it as is the UI doesn't show any hosts. I'm following the quick start guide found here In my gmond.conf file i have the following. udp_send_channel { mcast_join = host1 port = 8661 ttl = 1 } udp_recv_channel { port = 8661 retry_bind = true mcast_join = host1 bind = host1 } In my gmetad.conf file i have. data_source "Infrastructure" host1:8661 host2:8661

  • Installing Bugzilla on Ubuntu 9.04 and Plesk

    Hey guys. I'm trying to install the latest Bugzilla version on my ubuntu server. (Want to use a subdomain like bugs.domain.com) I already installed all necessary perl modules and check_modules.pl doesn't show any errors. But when I'm running the testserver.pl script I get the following: TEST-OK Webserver is running under group id in $webservergroup TEST-FAILED Fetch of images/padlock.png failed I'm also not able to visit ANY file within the bugzilla folder from the browser. I'm always getting a 404 error. The bugzilla folder and all containing files are set to apache as the owner. I tried to enter the apache configuration form the installation guide in the http.include file of the domain and in the vhosts.conf file of the subdomain as well. I don't know what to do... Playing with plesks' suexecgroup doesn't bring any solution... I hope you can help me! Thanks in advance!

  • Configuring IIS site to use HTTPS

    I am working on a REST API which I have currently deployed on a Win XP Professional SP2 development machine running IIS 5.1. The site is currently being hosted on port 81 and being accessed via HTTP. I would now like to configure the site to stop using HTTP and use HTTPS only. I have developed a self-signed certificate using the SelfSSL.exe tool from the 6.0 Resource Kit Tools and set the Common Name to be the IP of my server (as it's a local development machine it has no domain name). I have also already configured the site to use SSL using the How To Set Up an HTTPS Service in IIS tutorial as my guide. However, whenever I try to access a resource in the API via HTTPS I get a 404. Any ideas?

    i have say, richTextBox1, and here is the contents: line one from my textbox is this, and i want this to be normal, arial, 8 point non-bold font line two, i want everything after the | to be bolded... | this is bold line three: everything in brackets i (want) to be the color (Red) line 4 is "this line is going to be /slanted/ or with italics and so on, basically if i know how to do what i mentioned above, ill know everything i need to know to complete my project. code examples would be very very much appricaited! :)

    Recently, my PCI assessor informed me that my servers are vulnerable to BEAST and failed me. I did my homework and I want to change our webservers to prefer RC4 ciphers over CBC. I followed every guide I could find... I changed my reg keys for my weaker than 128bit encryption to Enabled = 0. completely removed the reg keys for the weaker encryptions. I downloaded IISCrypto and unchecked everything but RC4 128 ciphers and triple DES 168. My webserver still prefers AES-256SHA. Is there a trick in IIS 6.0 to get your webservers to prefer RC4 ciphers that I am not figuring out? It seems like in IIS 7 they made this very easy to fix but that doesn't help me now!

I have tried the following two: munkres hungarian However, in my case, I have to deal with non-complete graph (i.e., there might not be an edge between two nodes), and therefore, there might not be a match if the node has no edge.     So we are venturing out into the world of SharePoint and it seems that I have to install SharePoint Server directly on each developer's box. Is this correct? I have SharePoint up and running on a separate sever so it seems redundant to have to install it on each box. Not to mention installing SharePoint on Windows 7 is a pain in the ars. I'm just trying to clarify how to correctly set the environment up.     For historical reasons, one of the machines that I manage has a Redhat Enterprise 4 boot disk (among others). Every now and then, we have to boot into RHEL4 to bring up some of the legacy software that we support and connect to. Since it's a fringe system, the Redhat support has long since lapsed and I can't convince myself that it would be worth paying just to get RPMs that I can go and get for myself. That said, the default RHEL tools are heavily biased against letting you do exactly that. I would like to install yum and use that as my package discovery and installation. So, is there an installation guide to integrating yum with an older RHEL 4 system?

  • Setting Rails up on a Linode - Nginx Issue

    I am extremely new to this so please don't shoot me down: I have set up a Linode running Ubuntu, It is all sort of working except Nginx. I am following this guide: http://rubysource.com/deploying-a-rails-application/ And this for nginx: http://library.linode.com/web-servers/nginx/installation/ubuntu-10.04-lucid When I go to my IP, I get a 500 internal server error.   • Has anyboy been able to install Pantograph for Blender on Windows?

    I am specially interested on if somebody is actually doing/maintaining an installer for Windows, as there are quite several issues when installing all dependencies, etc. (for example, there might be someone already doing a Installbuilder installer for it and am just not aware of the matter) If not, at least if someone got it working and has some key tip to share. I am never able to fully get it all up and running. I'd love to have a not super complex way to install each new build of this great vector rendering module for Blender.   • Post raid5 setup reboot shows single hard drive failure on ubuntu 12.10?

    I just set up raid 5 on linux using three HDDs as per a guide. It all went fine until when I rebooted I got the following text: http://i.stack.imgur.com/Zsfjk.jpg. Does this mean one of my HDDs has failed? How do I check if any of them are failing? I tried using smartctl and didn't see any issues. Or is it nothing to do with failure and something else altogether? I would like to get the raid 5 working again but I'm not sure where to go from here. I'm using ubuntu 12.10 and the three raid disks each have a gpt partition with a single full size partition of filesystem type ext4. Note I only got an error on reboot not while I was creating the raid array which went fine. Thanks.
