• Where can I find a list of Microsoft Paradox ODBC driver error codes?

  I am currently using a Microsoft ODBC driver to connect a .NET application to a Paradox Database. Periodically I get errors like ERROR [HY000] [Microsoft][ODBC Paradox Driver] Reserved error (-3034); there is no message for this error. I would like to find a list of error codes that can translate -3034 into something that means something. Any ideas where to look?

• Sorting/grouping when there are multiple values in one cell

  I have an Excel 2007 spreadsheet, where each row of the dataset describes a feature of a piece of software. One of the columns in the spreadsheet is Relevant Users, which describes which users of the software the feature is of interest to. There may be a couple of different users interested in a feature, in which case I've been filling in the cell with the two user types separated by a colon, e.g. 'Usertype A; Usertype D'. Occassionally, I'd like to sort my data by the Relevant Users column. However, the way I'm populating the column means the sorting isn't very smart. If I have a feature where 'Relevant Users' is 'Usertype A; Usertype D', and then I sort by Relevant Users, that feature will be grouped at the end of all the other features of relevant to Usertype A, as it's just sorting alphabetically. But I want it to be listed in the two separate groups of Usertype A and Usertype D. Or, if I have a pivot table that groups the features together under the heading of Relevant User, I'll get all the features for 'Usertype A', then 'Usertype B', then 'Usertype C', then 'Usertype D', then 'Usertype A; Usertype D', etc. Whereas I really want a feature with Relevant Users as 'Usertype A; Usertype D' to show up in both the Usertype A group and the Usertype D group. I guess if this information was in a database I might have a many-to-many table linking Relevant Users to features. But is there a way to go about having this kind of many-to-many relationship in Excel?

  Greetings, I have a custom validation in my exemplary Movie model: class Movie < ActiveRecord::Base validate :it, :on => :create private def it self.errors.add 'foo', 'bar' end end This works on movie creation but also on updating an existing movie. :on => :update will also work for both. • Making a COM dll to be invoked from c#, HRESULT error handling?

  I'm making a COM interface that c# will be using, however i am wondering how i am to check for errors and exception handling on the c# end as at the moment i am just returning a HRESTULT or bool for most methods. But several things can go wrong in some of these methods and returning a E_FAIL just doesn't cut it. What can i do in order to return more information? Can i make a HRESULT of my own?

• Duplicate System.Web.UI.AsyncPostBackTrigger Controls keep getting inserted automatically, causing P

  I have an update panel with a number of [asp:AsyncPostBackTrigger...] controls, and everything was working fine. But now, something keeps inserting duplicate AsyncTriggers, and instead of simply being [asp:AsyncPostBackTrigger...] controls they're [System.Web.UI.AsyncPostBackTrigger...] controls, and I get parser errors as a result. So I delete the duplicate triggers, and they get re-inserted within a few minutes, seemingly randomly. Anyone know whats going on here?

• Speed Problem with Wireless Connectivity on Cisco 877w

  Having a bit of a weird one with my local LAN setup. I recently installed a Cisco 877W router on my DSL2+ connection and all is working really well.. Upgraded the IOS to 12.4 and my wired clients are streaming connectivity superfast at 1.3mb/s. However, there seems to be an issue with my wireless clients - I can't seem to stream any data across the local wireless connection (LAN) and using the Internet, whilst responsive enough isn't really comparable with the wired connection speed.   Hi I found out that my application causes some errors which are logged in an Event log. It states: NET Runtime 2.0 Error EventType clr20r3, P1 *****.exe, P2 1.0.0.0, P3 4b2a572f, P4 system.web.services, P5 2.0.0.0, P6 4889df18, P7 bc, P8 65, P9 system.net.webexception, P10 NIL. How can I find out what's going on? I've tried that app locally and everything works fine.

• Problem with Xcode organizer screen capture

  I'm currently running Xcode 3.2.2 on Snow Leopard. When opening Organizer Screenshots I see a list of screenshots I did before. But when I click the Capture button, nothing's happening. • gcc compiling error on Solaris 10

  I want to compile a source code, but there are some compiling errors about __sync_xxx functions (__sync_bool_compare_and_swap etc.) GCC version on machine is 3.4.3 (it must be gcc 4.1 or over for supporting atomic builtins), so I have downloaded GCC v4.6, copied it to another directory (I didn't remove v3.4.3) then change the $PATH path for GCC but it doesn't work (the same error occurs). I want to ask that is only changing gcc path with export PATH=... enough for compiling with new GCC?
