• Customized listfield with image displaying from a url

  I am displaying a customized list field with text on the right side and image on the left side.The image comes from a URL dynamically.Initially i am placing a blank image on the left of the list field,then call URLBitmapField class's setURL method,which actually does the processing and places the processed image on top of the blank image.The image gets displayed on the list field,but to see that processed image i need to press any key or click on the list field items.I want the processed image to be displayed automatically in the list field after the processing.Can anyone tell me where i am getting wrong?   I am confused to why I have different information based on where I try to retrieve it from. I have 3 Windows 2012 servers (G0, G1, and G2) running Hyper-V. The Hyper-V Manager application shows the same list as the PowerShell does. For the VPN network, i would like to use the 10.0.0.0/24 range.   I am using VirtualBox 4.1.18 and had a virtual machine running Windows 8 RC with a single VHD, which was initially sized at 25GB (too small!). • Is it possible to extract contents of a ThinApp container?

  Is there possible to extract such packages made by somebody else. Ok, so if there is no general way of extracting such archives, which can be a huge exe file or tiny exe starter with huge packed *.bin file with main files of an app that is to be run in portable way - is there a way to set an option in compilation *.ini file or other way to make such package able to be extracted. I remember I read somewhere that somebody created a tiny program (in was mentioned in vmware forums as far as I can remember, it was a crude thing coded for private use and I never managed to download it) to sit with main portable application and if such application has an open/save file dialog, it is possible to navigate to that program which virtually sits in the program files alongside main app from within the main app, and such program would scan all files that it can see and somehow is able to distiguish a real file from virtual one, and save all virtual files in a structure that is similar to the initial compilation folder from which portable app was created. I know that it is a very round-about way of doing things, but maybe the only one feasible. Nevertheless any news on this front ? Do antiviruses can somehow unpack these things ?   I execute a command line program from a VM (VMware 7.1.1) with Windows XP. The executable file is located on the host machine. If i start a command line in the VM, using a drive mounted as .host\SharedFolders i see the following: D:\projects\myProgram\WinRel>dir myProgram.exe 02.09.2010 21:15 245.760 myProgram.exe D:\projects\myProgram\WinRel>myProgram.exe Processing BuildFeb 26 2009 This is wrong! The whole execution of the program behaves like the version that is outdated more than one year! • Stop squid caching 302 and 307 with deny_info

  TLDR: 302, 307 and Error pages are being cached. Need to force a refresh of the content. Long version: I've setup a very minimal squid instance running on a gateway which shouldn't not cache ANYTHING but needs to be solely used as a domain based web filter. I'm using another application which redirects un-authenticated users to the proxy which then uses the deny_info option redirects any non-whitelisted request to the login page. After the user has authenticated the firewall rule gets placed so they no longer get sent to the proxy. The problem is that when a user hits a website (xkcd.com) they are unauthenticated so they get redirected via the firewall: iptables -A unknown-user -t nat -p tcp --dport 80 -j REDIRECT --to-port 39135 to the proxy at this point squid redirects the user to the login page using a 302 (i've also tried 307, and i've also make sure the headers are set to no-cache and/or no-store for Cache-Control and Pragma). Then when the user logs into the system they get firewall rule which no longer directs them to the squid proxy. But if they go to xkcd.com again they will have the original redirection page cached and will once again get the login page. Any idea how to force these redirects to NOT be cached by the browser? Perhaps this is a problem w/ the browsers and not squid, but not sure how to get around it. "Git Create repository here" "TortoiseGit" in Explorer context menu. When I try to clone, I get "git have not installed" [sic]. I have tried setting the MSysGit path, in the TortioseGit settings, to everything imaginable. Nothing works. Neither C:\Program Files or C:\Program Files (x86) have a Git folder. The git command gives "command not found" from both cmd.exe and bash (that msysgit installed) I don't not see msysgit in - Control Panel - Programs - Program Features, but I do see TortioseGit in there. I would like a procedure for verifying that msysgit is properly installed. A procedure for uninstalling msysgit would be an added bonus. I would like a procedure for getting TortoiseGit to work. I am running Windows 7 on a MacBook Pro.

  There is a keyboard input problem using Ubuntu 10.04 as a guest in VMWare. I found a website here that explained howto get around this problem in Kubuntu (which uses the KDM login manager. How can I accomplish the same using regular Ubuntu 10.04 (which uses the GDM login manager)?

• What parameter in perfmon shows disk cache size?

  I need the same value as shown in Task Manager under the name "Cached". I tried "Memory/Cache Bytes", but it only shows 50 MBytes, while task manager shows 738 MBytes cached. And it doesn't grow up, when I copy files. So this counter is something different. Any ideas?
