  • Question about an AJAX link and the dev and prod enviroments

    Hi, i have this line below that shows a link to go the next page of a list. <a href="#" onclick="new Ajax.Updater('lista_miembros', '/frontend_dev.php/miembros/filtrar?page=2')">Next page</a> The problem: as expected, it only works in the development enviroment of the frontend (frontend_dev.php). My question: what should i to get it work on both enviroments (production and development)? Using if's and getting the environment being used is the only way, or is there any cooler way? Javi

  • Blank page shown in Mozilla Firefox

    I have a jsf page which works perfectly fine[Both in IE and Mozilla Firefox] when the application is deployed locally. But i deploy it at the client place and I try to access the page in mozilla FF i get a blank page but it shows up properly in IE. Now if i do a remote desktop connection to the system where the application is deployed and try to access the same page i get to see the page correctly in both mozilla ff & IE Is this due to some sort of network issue specific to mozilla?

Sadly my attempt does not work -- no window appears. What am I doing wrong?

  • Pound symbol not displaying on web page

    Hello I have a mysql database table to store country name and currency symbol - the CHARSET has correctly set to UTF8. This is example data inserted into the table insert into country ( country_name, currency_name, currency_code, currency_symbol) values ('UK','Pounds','GBP','£'); When I look in the database - the pound symbol appears fine - but when I retrieve it from the database and display it on the website - a weird square symbol shows up with a question mark inside instead of the pound symbol.     I am trying to reach methods and properties of ObjectFrame through vb.net. But when I declared this as Dim objOLEObject As ObjectFrame and then trying to instantiate it as ObjOLEObject = New ObjectFrame it shows error like: "429: Retriveing the COM class factory for component with CLSID {3806e95d-e47c-11-cd-8701-00aa003f0f7} failed due to the following error: 80040154" To resolve this we re-installed both MS-Office 2003 and VS-2005, but could not get the solution. Could anyone suggest me how to declare and use this in vb.net? Thanks.

  • Try-Catch equivalent in Objective-C / xcode

    I get an app crash in main.m in my app and have no idea why the error is happening because xcode doesn't show me where the crash occurs, it shows me that it crashes at return UIApplicationMain(argc, argv ...) which tells me nothing. Is there a way to have in xcode / Objective-C the equivalent of a try/catch in Visual Studio to see exactly where the error is occuring? I'm using latest xcode (4.6 I believe). Thanks in advance.

    Having no end of trouble including a large landscape pdf in a portrait .tex document (using pdflatex). When it does show up, only the leftmost end of the pdf shows up, now matter how small i make the scale. And i cant seem to get it to show in landscape mode at all...   • DB access denied with ASP.Net MVC application after switching to windows authentication mode

    I have a MVC application that I am now trying to add authentication and authorization to. I want to allow users to get to the site and be automatically authenticated. So I set authentication mode="Windows" in the web.config, and enabled NTLM in the project options. The site now shows my domain name in the top right when I run it, but when I hit a action than needs DB access, it tells me access is denied for my user-name? What step am I missing?
