It's strange because this issue doesn't happen with the update() or delete() method, just with save().   In the logcat viewer in Eclipse, if it is set to filter messages coming from the application I am currently debugging, the list flickers annoyingly. My guess that it reloads the list every time a log message arrives from my device, even if it is not displayed because of the filter. However, it makes reading log messages very hard. Is there any way to counter this bug? Or is there an alternate logcat viewer for Android?

  I'm trying to use GData to retrieve the email address, real name, and profile URL of the user that just authorized my site using Google OAuth. We know how to request it using Google's OpenID flow, but the OpenID flow has the severe limitation that we have to ask for a Google Apps user's domain before we know where to send them to log in. At least using OAuth (or even AuthSub), the user gets prompted for which of their Google accounts to log in.

• RNDC fails: permission denied

  Named works great. It creates a pid in /var/run/named/named.pid as expected. It is listening on port 953 as shown by the log: Apr 20 14:42:38 guchuko named[9115]: command channel listening on 127.0.0.1#953 But whenever I try to run "rndc reload" I get: rndc: 'reload' failed: permission denied What file is it being denied permission to ? It doesn't log anything so I don't know why it's not working.
