• How do I merge cells of the same column in LyX?

  I have 3 subfigures I want to arrange so that 1 will be in the left and 2 will be in the right (one above the other): Figure 1 | Figure 2 Figure 1 | Figure 3 Figure 1 should appear only once of course - across the entire column. I thought I should use 2x2 table to arrange them, but I can't find a way to merge the two cells in the same column to one cell in order to put figure 1 there. How can I merge the two cells in the same column?

  How do I write an openssl server that on a single port has two different active RSA private keys? The openssl documentation seems to implies there can only be one rsa private key active at time with in a context.   Hi I have a joomla installation with a contacts form. Specifically, there are two contacts with position, email, name, phone. However, joomla seems to insist on having two empty columns "Mobile phone" and "Fax" that I can't seem to get rid of. It has the following three components: common data structures text writer (depends on 1) binary writer (depends on 1) The obvious way to distribute this is as 3 .jar files, so that users can include only what they need. However, the "common data structures" component is really just two small classes so I'm considering creating only two .jar files and including the common .class files in both. My question: What are the potential problems with doing this?

  hi! given a 3D grid, a 3d point as sphere center and a radius, i'd like to quickly calculate all cells contained or intersected by the sphere. Currently i take the the (gridaligned) boundingbox of the sphere and calculate the two cells for the min anx max point of this boundingbox. then, for each cell between those two cells, i do a box-sphere intersection test. would be great if there was something more efficient thanks!

  I have a JPanel that encapsulates two JPanels, one on top of the other. The first holds two JLabels which hold the playing cards. The second holds the player's text (name and score). However, when I remove the player's cards, the lower JPanel moves up to the top, which i would prefer that it not do. Is there a way to keep it in place regardless of whether the top JPanel is occupied or not? Thanks

The problem sequence is: user logs into application A, opens new tab in a browser logs into application B, his login in application A is signed out and vice versa.   I have an initial migration that sets up two tables (users and projects), with a relationship (innoDB). $table->foreign('user_id')->references('id')->on('users'); I have two Eloquent models set up, blank except for the relationship: return $this->has_many('Project'); Do i definitely need to tell eloquent about the relationship in the models and the database?   Using Sun Glassfish Enterprise server v2.1.1 I am using "alternatedocroot" via sun-web.xml for my web application to abstract out static content from actual deploy-able code (EAR/WAR) What I have is a cluster of two server instances distributed across two physical hosts - HOST1 and HOST2. "alternatedocroot" points to /data/static-content/ on both HOST1 and HOST2. Would DAS (Domain application server )take care of syncing /data/static-content between HOST1 and HOST2 if I use syncinstances=true option while starting up the cluster? Thanks!

  Does merge sort work by; taking a list of values splitting it in to two take the first element of each list, the lowest value one goes in to a new list(and i guess removed from the original). comare the next two numbers - do this until one list is empty, then place the rest of the other list at the end ofthe nw list?   For example, these are valid math expressions: a * b + c -a * (b / 1.50) (apple + (-0.5)) * (boy - 1) And these are invalid math expressions: --a *+ b @ 1.5.0 // two consecutive signs, two consecutive operators, invalid operator, invalid number -a * b + 1) // unmatched parentheses a) * (b + c) / (d // unmatched parentheses I have no problem with matching float numbers, but have difficulty with parentheses matching. Any idea? If there is better solution than regular expression, I'll accept as well. But regex is preferred.

• Jquery add elipse (...) and truncate text based on height not width.

  I have found many ways to measure width and to truncate text using jquery, but I can't find one based on height. I am limited to two lines of text or it will knock my design out of canter. So does anyone know a method of limiting a paragraph to two lines high, tuncating it and adding an elipse ?
