  I've a nice situation, I think at beginning this a usual query but I'm having some problem trying to solve this, the situation is: I've a list of "Houses", and each house have a list of "Windows". And I want to filter for a catalog only the Houses witch have a Blue windows, so my extension method of House is something like: public static List<House> FilterByWindow (this IEnumerable<House> houses, Window blueOne){ houses.Select(p=>p.Windows.Where(q=>q.Color == blueOne.Color)); return houses.ToList(); } Is this correct or I'm losing something? Some better suggestion?

  BACKGROUND-IMAGE: url(../images/feedback_trans_tab.png); _background-image: url(../images/feedback_tab_ie6.png) I've seen code like this in a css file feedback_tab_ie6.png is 886 bytes and feedback_trans_tab.png has 1.64Kb Both pics have transparent backgrounds so that you can apply your own background color. Both look the same. yet in IE6 if I comment this line: _background-image: url(../images/feedback_tab_ie6.png) this appears: and if I don't this appears: DOes anyone have any idea why this is?   Hi, I have created a script which is surprisingly working. (I do not do much JavaScript) What I have is a load of images listed within a div. These images are hidden. JQuery gets the properties of the images and puts them into an array. When the body is clicked, the background image of the page changes. This works nicely. However, I now have a problem. There are several elements which I shouldn't change the background when they are clicked. Namely, navigation, footer and caption. How do I create a selector which makes the body clickable, yet ignores clicks on the above 3 div's?

  Hi, I'm looking for a way to do the following in mysql. INSERT INTO category (cat_id,sku,description,color) VALUES ('$cat_id','$sku','$description','$color') ON DUPLICATE KEY UPDATE description=$description" this works fine... but I want something further to happen if there is a duplicate key. I want to copy a row from the 'product' table to the 'categorized_products'... AND INSERT categorized_products (a,b,c) SELECT a,b,c FROM products WHERE products.cat = '$cat_id' is there a way to do the INSERT...SELECT as part of the first query or do I need to evaluate the above with mysql_affected_rows ( 1 is updated and == 1 is inserted) and then run my second query. Obviously the above will work but means another query and more LOC. Thanks!

  How to get rid of uneven illumination from images, that contain text data, usually printed but may be handwritten? It can have some spots of lights because the light reflected while making picture. I've seen the Halcon program's segment_characters function that is doing this work perfectly, but it is not open source. I wish to convert an image to the image that has a constant illumination at background and more dark colored regions of text. So that binarization will be easy and without noise. The text is assumed to be dark colored than it's background. Any ideas?

  Hi, I am having a problem with my CSS whereby the right hand column in a 2 column layout is extending beyond the footer. I have tried playing with the clear: both; property but I cannot get it to work.. the second column has the id column2 both columns use the class column. The footer html has the id footerWrapper Both columns and footer are div tags. • Hide jQuery Accordion while loading

  I am testing a site build with a slow connection and I noticed the jQuery Accordion stays expanded for a long time, until the rest of the site is loaded, and then finally collapses. Not very pretty. I was wondering how I could keep it collapsed through the loading process and only expand when clicked. I am working with the standalone 1.6 version of the accordion plugin.   Hi everyone, I have a UITableViewController that populates a UITableView with some data that I pull off the net. The data for each cell consists also of an image used as background, which I'm downloading in a separated NSOperation added to a NSOperationQueue with a MaxConcurrentOperationCount set to 4. As long as the image is not downloaded I'm showing a generic placeholder which I would like to replace (fading out/fading in) with the downloaded image once it's being successfully downloaded. I'm using the following code placed inside the cellForRowAtIndexPath of the UITableViewController. [UIView beginAnimations:@"fade" context:nil]; [UIView setAnimationBeginsFromCurrentState:YES]; [UIView setAnimationDuration:3.0]; [UIView setAnimationCurve:UIViewAnimationCurveEaseInOut]; cell.placeholderUIImage.alpha = 0.0; cell.backgroundUIImage.alpha = 1.0; [UIView commitAnimations]; This is unfortunately just working randomly for a couple of rows, since for the most the background image is set instantly, as if the animation started on one cell would have been "overwritten" by the next call of beginAnimations.

• Why would GDI+ colours vary based off whether a tooltip is visible?

  I'm displaying a bitmap using GDI+. After loading the bitmap from a DLL resource I set the background colour (blue - #0000FF) to transparent using TransparentBlt. On Windows Vista and later this works as expected. However, on a Windows XP system we're testing on this only works when any tooltip (e.g. the "title" property in IE, or Windows Explorer's tooltip shown when hovering the mouse over a file, etc) is displayed. The rest of the time the background colour is still blue. Has anyone encountered this before, or know of a way to stop this occurring and for the blue to be properly made transparent?

Here is what I am trying to do in pesudo code. Each Bubble has a Column and Row Property. If The bubble subtracts one from its Column property and finds the same Color bubble, it should Select it then Subtract -1 and see if two bubbles away there is also a same color bubble. If there is then subtract -2 and so on. So What I am trying to do is var test= _theBubbles.TakeWhile((i, s) => i.BubbleColor== bubble.BubbleColor)//Then somehow tell it to do bubble.Column-s and then Subtract s from bubble.Column So the Idea is to keep looking down the column till the bubble isnt the same

  I'm displaying an animated gif in my application by creating a QLabel, and setting the movie as a QMovie. The problem I'm having is that when the gif is displayed, any part of the image that stays a constant color throughout the animation shows up as the background color. I hope I'm explaining that clearly. When im implement this in my page, in chrome all still looks ok, but ie as usually messed it up. Background appears under the text and pop up appears under the background. It's propably issue with css, but im not have css skills to fix it up. Plus with same css on example site all looks all right, im a lil bit confuse, help me please.
