  • Are there any online database schema drawing tools?

    Hi folks, i wish to draw up some database schemas. Eg, table 1 has zero to many rows in table 2, etc. It's purely for visual purposes (eg. no sql code, etc). Are there any online tools / website that offer this? (please don't say: Use Sql Server Database Diagrams, print screen, upload to image hosting service). thanks :) EDIT: Please take note of the keyword - ONLINE. I don't want any desktop solutions (because I already have one of these).

  • Some frames are not showing in Frame Animation

    I am doing a frame to frame animation. My problem is I have given around 10 drawable images in my anim xml. But only first two and last two is showing not all the images. I am doing a translation also on this image.After translation only frame animation starts.Translation is happening and frame animation also happening but it is not showing all the frames.     Hi! I am trying to update data in a table view using a NSMutableArray. Quite simple :( What is happening is that I get my data from a NSURLConnection Callback, which I parse and store it in an array and call reload data on the table view. The problem is that when cellForRowAtIndexPath is called back by the framework. The array still shows the correct count of the elements but all string objects I had stored earlier are shown as invalid. Any pointers

    I have a single table called "Indexes", it contains one nvarchar and three ntext columns (all Full Text Indexes). Index is up to date. CONTAINSTABLE(Indexes, *), 'test', 5) //5 results No matter what I change the above keyword too, it only returns the first 3-5 results. It should roughly return 90-120 results, for the above query.   • Can't set default value of string property to "" in the Xcode CoreData model designer

    I have an entity in my datamodel with a string property that is currently optional, and I'd like to convert this property to a required property with a default value of the empty string. As others have discovered, leaving the default value blank results in validation errors (since the designer interprets this as NULL), but trying '', "", or @"" as the default value results in those literal characters being interpreted as the default, rather than the empty zero-length string, as desired. I did find this thread on Google, however, apart from the solution being really ugly (model definition split between the .xcdatamodel and objc source), it also doesn't work for lightweight migrations because those migrations are done solely based on the .xcdatamodel files and the objc logic from your entity implementations isn't loaded. Is there any way to achieve this in the data model designer?

  • Naming a typedef for a boost::shared_ptr<const Foo>

    Silly question, but say you have class Foo: class Foo { public: typedef boost::shared_ptr<Foo> RcPtr; void non_const_method() {} void const_method() const {} }; Having a const Foo::RcPtr doesn't prevent non-const methods from being invoked on the class, the following will compile: #include <boost/shared_ptr.hpp> int main() { const Foo::RcPtr const_foo_ptr(new Foo); const_foo_ptr->non_const_method(); const_foo_ptr->const_method(); return 0; } But naming a typedef ConstRcPtr implies, to me, that the typedef would be typedef const boost::shared_ptr<Foo> ConstRcPtr; which is not what I'm interested in. An odder name, but maybe more accurate, is RcPtrConst: typedef boost::shared_ptr<const Foo> RcPtrConst; However, Googling for RcPtrConst gets zero hits, so people don't use this as a typedef name :) Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Speed up of this version is 1.85x, overwhelming all the loop-unroll version. Here are the questions: In the inner-loop-unroll version, why does increment slow down if the unrolling factor increase, especially change the unrolling factor from 8 to 16, which does not effect the same when switch from 4 to 8? Does the result have some relationship with depth of the CPU pipeline? If the answer is yes, could the degrade of increment reflect pipeline length? What is the probable reason for the optimization of data-zone version? It seems that there is no too much essential difference from the original naive version. EDIT: My test environment is Intel Centrino Duo processor and the verion of gcc is 4.4 Any advice will be highly appreciated! Kind regards!

    Hi; sorry if I'm not clear, it's not really clear in my head too (especially after trying to find my way in other posts :p) What I'm willing to do is creating DataGrids in code, with zero to numerous columns containing a button, which will call one same function but with a "parameter" (different for each column). Here is what I got so far : DataGrid created in code DataTemplate defined in the xaml resources (with a button) DataGridTemplateColumn which uses the above DataTemplate Is it possible to bind the button's properties (in the DataTemplate), to the DataGridTemplateColumn properties (in my case, the column header would be ok), and how? Is there a way to get an access to the DataTemplate components (the button for example) in code, and modify their properties? Is it possible (and not hazardous) to create a DataTemplate in code? I declared mine in xaml because I found a post advising to do so instead of code. Thanks for your help.

    I have a schema that includes tables like the following (pseudo schema): TABLE ItemCollection { ItemCollectionId ...etc... } TABLE Item { ItemId, ItemCollectionId, ContributorId } I need to aggregate the number of distinct contributors per ItemCollectionId. This is possible with a query like: SELECT ItemCollectionId, COUNT(DISTINCT ContributorId) FROM Item GROUP BY ItemCollectionId I further want to pre-calculate this aggregation using an indexed (materialized) view. The DISTINCT prevents an index being placed on this view. Is there any way to reformulate this which will not violate SQL Server's indexed view constraints?

  • Querying current number of touches on screen without using events on iPhone

    I have an application that starts playing a sound when user touches the uiview and changing to different tones as the user slides the finger on the screen. The sound stops when the user lifts the finger. I am using the touchesBegan, Moved and Ended Events for this. My problem is touches Ended (and/or cancelled) is sometimes not fired properly and the sound keeps playing even after the finger is lifted from screen. So as a workaround I would like to implement a timer that would check for the number of touches on the screen and if it is zero it will check and stop the audioplayer if playing. I have been searching for some code that could get me the number of touches like UITouch *touches=[self getAllTouchesonScreen]; or something :)

Connection, command etc works fine (i can see exec command in the SQL Profiler), data headers are created for all 23 columns but i only get data for 6 column. Side Note: it's not prod level code, have missed out error handling on purpose, sp works fine in SQL management studio, ASP.Net, C# win form app, it is for Excel 2003 connecting to SQL 2008.
