    I have a controller method with the following signature: [AcceptVerbs(HttpVerbs.Post)] public ActionResult UpdateValues(int id, MyViewModel[] array) { } The id is normally picked up as part of the Url on other GET controller methods (I have a working route that does this) I am successfully passing the array1 from the form in my view to the controller method, but how do I also put the id onto my Url so that when the user clicks the Submit button, the controller method will pick up the ID?

  • AJAX/JSONP Question. Access id denied using IE while requesting corss domain.

    Ok, Here we go. I have already searched the Stack for the answer i have found some useful info but i want to clear up some more things. I also search the net for the answer but no real help. I have worked with some api (yelp, ouside.in). In yelp i use to inject the script to head with the url request to the api with a callback funcion. I worked fine in all browsers. But while using outside.in api when i call the url the callback in not working. In yelp they have a url field can be used like that callback=callbackfuncion so the callback will automatically called. But in outside.in there is not such field available. Is there are any standard command for callback function which will work regardless of any server/api? I also tried a standard ajax request using jQuery $.ajax() function. It worked for my local pc for both IE and other browser but did not working in IE showing the error: access denied, other borwser seems ok. Firebug in my FF also don't notice any errors.     Hi, I 've this little doubt but I couldn't find information about it, probably because I'm not searching the correct thing. When a browser ask for "www.mydomain.com", the DNS server returns an IP Address, then the browser go there... but what does happen then? I mean, that IP address could be a shared hosting that contains hundreds of web pages and domains, so how does it knows where it have to go? Is something that the web server does? is it something that I could implement in a web application? I mean, for example I have a web application that contains accounts, and each account has a default web page. You could access that page passing the account namne, for example "www.mydomain.com/myaccount", but now I want to register "www.myaccount.com" and then it will get the "www.mydomain.com/myaccount" content.     Well, very simple question. So that's good news for you, I guess. More thorough explanation: I have a PHP script allowing me to add urls to a database. I want the script to resolve the url to an IP address as well, to store that, too. However, some of the URLs are like this: http://111.111.111.111/~example/index.php So it also needs to work with that. I'm not SURE that this is possible, but it only makes sense it would be. So: Is it possible, and if so, how?

    I am having issues trying to get the pageControl sample code to work with rotation. I managed to get it to rotate but it does not visually load correctly until I start to scroll (then it works fine). Any Idea on how I can fix this problem?     I have lately been delving into F# and the new DSL stuff as in the Microsoft SQL Server Modelling CTP, and have some concerns. Will this new idea that will come about be bad for skilled programmers? Is code going to be dumbed down? I know I sound like a luddite, but this does worry me, after spending years of time practising in my craft, and now might be scuttled by genius from within. I am afraid, very afraid. Will I be now trapped in a job that only programs against a DSL and therefore every job that I work on, I have to learn a whole new DSL based on top of a Framework (.net Java), that I will only be allowed to touch certain parts of. I don't think the world is ready for DSL, but the sales pitch is deafening!

    I have a subdomain m.example.com that I want to point to the same location as example.com/mobile running on an apache2/django1.3 installation. example.com is the landing page, and I have the urls.py configured such that urls that match /^mobile$/ will be served the mobile version of the page. I looked into <VirtualHost>, but I think it requires a physical location for me to point m.example.com at and with the django urls there is no physical location except for the root of the project directory. I am unsure if the configuration change is made on the apache side or the django side. I've also looked into the mod_rewrite module for Apache, but I would prefer if I didnt have to redirect m.example.com to example.com/mobile

I tried putting :checked = true in the index.html.haml on the check_box_tag but that makes the checkboxes checked everytime the page is refreshed.   • High CPU usage with Team Speak 3.0.0-rc2

    The CPU usage is always around 40 percent. I use push-to-talk and I had uninstalled pulseaudio. Now I use Alsa. I don't even have to connect to a Server. By simply starting TS the cpu usage goes up 40 percent and stays there. The CPU usage of 3.0.0-rc1 [Build: 14468] is constantly 14 percent. UPDATE: Thanks to nickguletskii's link I googled for "alsa cpu usage" (without quotes) and it brought me to a forum. A user wrote that by directly selecting the hardware with "plughw:x.x" won't impact the performance of the system. I have selected it in the TS 3 configuration and it worked. But this solution is not optimal because now no other program can access the sound output. If you need any further information or my question is unclear than please tell me.

  • Problem Disabling Roaming Profiles on Grouped Users

    I'm having some serious issues getting a group of users to stop using roaming profiles. As expected, I have roaming profiles enabled accross the domain. - But am doing GPO filtering, limiting the scope. I originally had it set to authenticated users for Roaming, but as the domain has branched out to multiple locations, I've limited the scope to only people that are near the central office. The GPO that I have linked filtered to a group I have created that include users that I don't want to have roaming profiles. This GPO is sitting at the root of the domain, with the "Forced" setting enabled, so it should override any setting below it. *On a side note, it is the ONLY GPO that I have set to "Forced" right now. I know the GPO is working, since I can see the original registy settings on a user that logged in under roaming profiles - and then that same user logging in after I made the Group Policy changes, the registry reflects a local profile. But unfortunately, even after making those settings - the user is given a roaming profile on one of the servers. A gpresult of that same user account (after the updated gpo) is listed in the code block below. You can see right at the top of that output, that it is infact dealing with a roaming profile. - And sure enough, on the server that's hosting the file share for roaming profiles, it creates a folder for the user once they log in. For testing purposes, I've deleted all copies of the user's profile, roaming and local. But the problem is still here. - So I'm aparently missing something in the group policy settings on a wider scale.
