• Autohotkey to map F5 to Shift+Home and then F5 - eventually executing a single line query in sql server?

  Reading the syntax from autohotkey, I am trying to achieve this. But the first step of selecting the entire line is not working:- F5:: send {Shift Home} return I have tried few others too, but its not working. This is not sending Shift+Home combination on pressing F5 key. Please tell me what's wrong with this? Also if possible, what to do next?, as if I will write send {F5} I believe, it will recursively fire this script again and again..

  I am looking for a way to move all files and subfolders within a given directory to somewhere else and after the movement delete the original folder. For example, suppose in current path, there is a folder called FOLDERA, I am trying to move all files and subfolders from FOLDERA to the current path and then remove FOLDERA, but I need to do this with a command line. I try MOVE command but I find that it can only move the files. Anyway to do that? Thanks.

See UTL_CALL_STACK for all of the details.

  I would like to select every column of a table, but want to have distinct values on a single attribute of my rows (City in the example). I don't want extra columns like counts or anything, just a limited number of results, and it seems like it is not possible to directly LIMIT results in a JPQL query. In two steps, I'd like to : Be sure that the particular user has logged in to Windows with some user entry. For the Active Directory access, the LDAP would probably be the choise? I'm not totally sure if I'm asking the right questions but hopefully somebody has some ideas to forward me on.

  Hi, we have a system where we collect data every second on user activity on multiple web sites. we dump that data into a database X (say MS SQL Server). we now need to fetch data from this single table from daatbase X and insert into database Y (say mySql). we want to fetch time based data from database X through multiple threads so that we fetch as fast as we can. Once fetched and stored in database Y, we will delete data from database X. Are there any best practices on this sort of design? any specific things to take care on table design like sharing or something?   A co-worker posed this question to me, and I told them, "No, you'll need to write a sproc for that". But I thought I'd give them a chance and put this out to the community. Essentially, they have a table with keys mapping to multiple values. For a report, they want to aggregate on the key and "mash" all of the values into a single field. Here's a visual: --- ------- Key Value --- ------- 1 A 1 B 1 C 2 X 2 Y The result would be as follows: --- ------- Key Value --- ------- 1 A,B,C 2 X,Y They need this in SQLServer 2005. Again, I think they need to write a stored procedure, but if anyone knows a magic out-of-the-box function that does this, I'd be impressed.

  Hi, I am creating a lightweight, single-file database administration tool and I would like to bundle some small icons with it. What is the best way to embed images in a HTML/PHP file? I know a method using PHP where I would call the same file with a GET parameter that would output hardcoded binary data with the correct header, but that seems a bit complicated. Can I use something to pass the image directly in a CSS background-image declaration? This would allow me to utilize the CSS sprite technique. Browser support isn't an issue here, so more exotic methods are welcome also. EDIT Does someone have a link/example to how to generate Data URL's properly with PHP? I'd figure echo 'data:image/png;base64,'.base64_encode(file_get_contents('image.png')) would suffice but I could be wrong.

  Looking at some of the changes coming to WebForms in ASP.NET 4.0 I can see many improvements that give developers even more control over the output. Some of these improvement have been a long time coming, and for some time it seemed that it wasn't even possible. It made me wonder if the current model with the single form element that runs on the server is really the only possible way. Why couldn't the ASPNET WebForm architecture work with multiple forms that all run on the server? Imagine if you could architect this change. How would it impact the way we write codebehind today? Would it introduce extra complexity? Would it change the way event handlers work, or validation, or ASP.NET Ajax with the ScriptManager and UpdatePanel controls?

What are some of the details of the specific job? (research, q&a, challenges, etc) What languages did you use to get the job done? Assuming you bill your work at an hourly rate, what was the rate? How long did the job actually take you to complete? (from start to deployment, how many weeks, months, years?)

As well as doing this, I'd like to register a handler with something like this: ResourceSpace.Has.ResourcesOfType<Customers>() .AtUri("/someotherthing/*") ... // and so on In this imaginary syntax, the asterisk would mean "take the rest of the path, including slashes, to be a single string parameter to pass to the handling method". And so if the user hits: http://server/someotherthing/how/about/this?that=other Then my handler method receives a string parameter: how/about/this?that=other Is such a thing possible in OpenRasta? In Sinatra (Ruby) I'd use a regular expression to do exactly this.
