    I need some help. I am trying to attach files to mail using, [mail addAttachmentData:attachmentData mimeType:@"image/png" fileName:fileName]; but the problem is that if i need to send a .jpeg image i need to repeat code just for setting mime type to "mimeType:@"image/jpeg". My question is that is there any general mimeType that can attach any kind of file irrespective of .doc,.ppt,.pdf or an audio or video file. is there any general mimeType: for an kind of attachment.   • Threadpool with pasistant worker instances

    So basically what im trying to do is queue up tasks in a thread pool to be executed as soon as a worker becomes free, i have found various examples of this but in all cases the examples have been setup to use a new Worker instance for each job, i want persistent workers. Im trying to make a ftp backup tool, i have it working but because of the limitations of a single connection it is slow. What i ideally want to do is have a single connection for scanning directories and building up a file list then four workers to download said files.   • C# 'could not found' existing method

    Greetings! I've been fooling around (a bit) with C# and its assemblies. And so i've found such an interesting feature as dynamic loading assemblies and invoking its class members. A bit of google and here i am, writing some kind of 'assembly explorer'. (i've used some portions of code from here, here and here and none of 'em gave any of expected results). But i've found a small bug: when i tried to invoke class method from assembly i've loaded, application raised MissingMethod exception. I'm sure DLL i'm loading contains class and method i'm tryin' to invoke (my app ensures me as well as RedGate's .NET Reflector): The main application code seems to be okay and i start thinking if i was wrong with my DLL... Ah, and i've put both of projects into one solution, but i don't think it may cause any troubles. And yes, DLL project has 'class library' target while the main application one has 'console applcation' target. So, the question is: what's wrong with 'em?   • Determine if e-mail message can be successfully sent

    Hello Everyone, I am working in a mailing application in C# and, basically, I need to be able to determine which recipients successfully received the message, which ones did not, no matter what was the failure reason. In summary, I need an exception to be thrown whenever the email address does not exist, for example. However, SmtpClient.Send does not throw an exception in this case, so I'd need to monitor the delivery failure replies and parse them, maybe. I know this is not a simple task, so I'd ask you experts some tips on how to handle the main issues with email sending. Thanks in advance!!

All I want to do is on specific reranging operations insert a new cell or delet the selected one! Sometimes I get a * Assertion failure in -[_UITableViewUpdateSupport _setupAnimationForReorderingRow], /SourceCache/UIKit/UIKit-963.10/UITableViewSupport.m:295 Attempt to create two animations for cell exception and when I want to reload my data by calling [self.tableView reloadData] I get a * Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSRangeException', reason: '* -[NSCFArray objectAtIndex:]: index (0) beyond bounds (0)' This is quiet anoying! Is there anybody out there who knows how to handle this problem? Please help me!

  • Class properties vs NSArray / NSDictionary

    I want a custom class object to hold data and have somehow the feeling that creating about 80 properties is not the best way of doing it. Most of the properties would be bool values, so i'm thinking about creating Arrays (keys / values) or (probably better) a NSDictionary attached to the object for holding the data. Does that make sense or should i stay with the properties? Extra: Are there general pros and cons for the different approaches? And what keywords / concepts do i have to search for to find discussions about that somehow general question? Thanks in advance

  • Using stored procedures to generate RDLC report in C#

    I'm making an application that generates reports for my client. I'm using his database that contains stored procedures which return the data needed for the reports. The problem is that I don't know how to execute them from the application (more specific the TableAdapter in my dataset). When I use the visual aid to create the TableAdapter, it shows the error "Invalid object named #table1". This is weird because there is a temporary table called #table1 in the stored procedure. When I try to do the whole job programmatically, I get the exception Incorrect syntax near '.'. An object or column name is missing or empty. For SELECT INTO statements, verify each column has a name. For other statements, look for empty alias names. Aliases defined as "" or [] are not allowed. Change the alias to a valid name. I created a DataTable that has identical structure as the result of the stored procedure, but I still get the same exception

    Hi guys, I have a website that has around 10 pages. Only one of those pages uses Zend (to integrate with Google gData). Right now, it's just all coded into that one page, but I'm wanting to learn how to use Zend Framework. How do you handle basic-relatively static php pages within Zend Framework? Do you just stick the whole individual pages into their own respective views and then have to common stuff in the layout, and not worry about a model and controller for those pages? in general, is MVC accepted and appropriate technology for general "web-design" work?

  • Can’t dup NilClass - how to trace to offender

    This exception occurs often and intermittently when in development mode, and appears to get triggered by model associations. Does There are lots of references found by google but none seem to help to trace the problem to an offending class. Does anyone have any insight into how to trace the occurrence of this exception to it's cause? I've seen the posts on adding "unloadable" but I'm not sure I buy it--unless there's a way to trace it somehow to its cause. I'm not in favor of indiscriminately adding such things to every class in hopes the problem might go away. Rails 2.3.5.

    I have a class based on database values. I'm using __set to automatically sync database values with the class properties. Set checks an array of database fields that it is allowed to update in the database. The field 'id' isn't in the list, so __set will throw an exception if you try to do $objDbRow->id = 5;. However, there is one time when I do want to set the id property of the object, and that's on instantiation. So in __constuct, I have $this->id = $id (where $id is passed to __construct). However, __set seems to be intercepting the setting here, because an exception is being thrown on construction. What's the way to get around this? I suppose I also have a boolean flag, like $instantiated, that __set() would check before it does it's field whitelist checking. But that feels inelegant.

  • Java - Loading dlls by a relative path and hide them inside a jar

    Hi guys, I am developing a Java application that should be release as a jar. This program depends on c++ external libraries called by JNI. To load them, I use the method System.load with an absolute path and this works fine. However, I really want to "hide" them inside the jar, so I have created a package to collect them. This forces me to load an relative path - the package path. By this approach, I let the user run the jar in any directory, without being worried about linking the dll's or bored with a previous installation process. This throws the expected exception: Exception in thread "main" java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: Expecting an absolute path of the library How can I get this working? Thanks for your help!
