  hi, I am using PHP 4, that is what the host has at the moment. How can I extract link from a string when given part of the link to find. Example $find_string = 'http://www.mysite.com/apple'; $string = 'Something and something else < a href="http://www.mysite.com/apple_banana"testlink< /a something else and so forth < a href="http://www.mysite.com/orange"orange< /a In this case I would like to extract only the links that has http:// www.mysite.com/apple in it so it would retrieve http://www.mysite.com/apple_bananan Any help would be greatly appreciated.

• How to post only a specific ASCX partial instead of the whole page

  I've got an ASPX page rendering a search ascx page which in turn will fill a grid on the main ASPX page. Aside that, I've also got an ascx page which uploads files, like this: <form method="post" action="<%= Url.Action("UploadFile") %>" enctype="multipart/form-data"> <fieldset> <input type="file" name="file" id="file" /> <%=Html.ButtonSubmit("Upload") %> </fieldset></form> Here's the problem: imagine I have searched for a single entry to be displayed on the grid. The grid displays this single entry and after wards, I upload a file and press the button "Upload". The whole page gets posted and the content in the grid is lost, now displaying all the results available. What could I do to prevent this from happening, maintaining the grid state (we're not using ViewState) or otherwise not posting back the whole page but only the ascx with the file upload? Note: I'm new to MVC.

  Hi, I want to implement inside boost multi-index two sets of keys with same search criteria but different eviction criteria. Say i have two sets of data with same search condition, but one set needs a MRU(Most Recently Used) list of 100 and the other set requires a MRU of 200. Say the entry is like this class Student { int student_no; char sex; std::string address; }; The search criteria is student_no, but for sex='m', we need MRU of 200 and for sex='f', we need a MRU of 100. Now i have a solution where in i introduce a new ordered index to maintain ordering. For example the IndexSpecifierList will be something like this typedef multi_index_container< Student, indexed_by< ordered_unique< member<Student, int, &Student::student_no> >, ordered_unique< composite_key< member<Student, char, &Student::sex>, member<Student, int, &Student::sex_specific_student_counter> > > > > student_set Now everytime, i am inserting a new one, i have to take a equal_range for that using index 2 and remove the oldest one and if something is getting re-used, i have to update it by incrementing the counter.   I've found boolean mode of MySQL full text search useful, however there are a couple of things I can't seem to figure out how to achieve. For instance imagine I have a full text column containing the words "Steve's Javascript Tutorial - Part One". I would like to match this for each of the following searches: "tutorials", "javascript tutorials", "java", "java script", "script" Imagine that each of those searches is simply assigned to a variable in whatever language may be being used (I always use PHP). How could I modify this to make sure that Steve's article is returned on each of those searches? MATCH (article_title) AGAINST ('"+$variable+"*' IN BOOLEAN MODE)

• C# Count registry keys existing using a partial value

  Microsoft.Win32.RegistryKey registryPath = Microsoft.Win32.Registry.LocalMachine.OpenSubKey(@"SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Testing"); Microsoft.Win32.RegistryKey entryKey = registryPath.OpenSubKey("Entry Point"); I have a lot of keys in Testing, in the format: "Entry Point 011", "Entry Point 123" - so Entry Point with random numbers after it. Would I be able to search the registryPath variable above and get a count of the number of keys containing the "Entry Point" keyword? Assuming that there are also other keys existing without this keyword.   Hello, I'm looking for a solution that allows me to get the parent page pathname from a partialView invoked. For example I have an Action baa and a controller boo so the javascript to obtain this will be window.location.pathname, and it returns /boo/baa. The thing is that I use a partial view, so when I try to retrieve the pathname via the URL helper, what I obtain is the PartialView one, and what I need is the pathname for the action that invokes it. I want to do this because I want to show certain things of the partial view depending on the pathname of the parent view that invokes it. Is there a way to do this with ASP.NET MVC?   Hello, I have an MVC project where I have a form with fields a user can enter and save. On that same page I have a table which shows a brief listing of information that the user just saved. The problem I am having is trying to update only the table after a save and not an entire page refresh. Is this possible in jquery or MVC? If so does anyone have an example. The code header: // Library.h #pragma once #include <string> using namespace System; namespace Library { public ref class MyClass { public: static void MyFoo(); static std::string Foo(); }; } The code implementation: #include "Library.h" using namespace Library; using namespace System; void MyClass::MyFoo() { Foo(); } std::string MyClass::Foo() { return std::string(); } I have a C# unit test, that calls MyClass.MyFoo(): [TestMethod] public void TestMethod1() { Library.MyClass.MyFoo(); } For some reason, I don't get a full code coverage for MyClass. The Foo() method has 3 uncovered blocks and 5 covered blocks. The closing curly brackets (}) are marked in orange - partially covered. I have no idea why is it partially covered instead of fully covered, and this is my question.

  Hi all. Long time reader, first time writer. Quick query i hope someone can help me with. I have a webpage (php, javascript) which has a small contact form for a user to fill in and email us. Not a problem in itself, i have a working form already. Nothing noteworthy, just a form posting to a php page which sends an email. <form id="myform" name="myform" method="post" action="Mailer.php"> So user fills in form, hits submit and the page changes to mailer.php and they find their way back to where they were. What I want instead is for the to stay on the same page when submit is pushed. The form div to update itself to just say 'message sent' or something. I just want to avoid a full page refresh. Much like how on say facebook, commenting on a status only updates that div. Hope that is phrased clearly enough. Cheers all,

The code works (as long as Base is not used directly) but the compiler chokes at the end of the implementation of Base with a warning: Incomplete implementation of class Base Is there a way to avoid this warning or, even better, a more proper way to obtain this partially implemented abstract base class behavior in Objc?

  I have the following: <asp:Button id="SubmitButton" Text="Submit" runat="server" OnClientClick="Do();" OnClick="SubmitButton_Click"/> When the page is first rendered, I go to the view source in my browser and see that the onclick="Do();" is not added to my submit button tag. But when I do a post back, and do the view source again, the onclick is added to the submit. Why would the onclick not be there on the first request?

  I have several sets of the same type [Y, M, D] and am trying to write a function to search these sets and return an array of the available sets that fit my parameters. ReturnedSets = return_matches(Y,M,D); I want the three parameters of the function return_matches to be optional. Which means any combination of values can be used to return the sets. For example, one could write - return_matches(13,null,2); - and the function would look for all sets that contain [13, anyValue, 2]; I'm writing this in PHP, to allow users to manage dated files on my website, but I'd like to be able to use this function again for other uses. Thanks! edit: (This, or variations of this, is all I can come up with so far... • Postback of delimited text from javascript and parsing on server side

  In my ASP.NET page, I have a Javascript object, like this: var args = new Object(); args.Data1 = document.getElementById("Data1").value; args.Data2 = document.getElementById("Data2").value; args.Data3 = document.getElementById("Data3").value; The object is populated on client side using user input data. I am passing the data to a C# method, through an Ajax request: someObj.AjaxRequest(argsData1 + "|" + argsData2 + "|" + argsData3) Finally, I need to obtain the data in my C# code: string data1 = [JS args.Data1] string data2 = [JS args.Data2] string data3 = [JS args.Data3] My question is what's the best solution for this? As i am concatenating bits of user input, I don't think it's best to use "|" as a delimiter. Also, it's not clear to me how to actually parse the data in my C# code to populate the three variables with the original data.

• postback __EVENTTARGET ID in Page.Request.Form has $ not _ in ASP.NET

  I am using the ToolkitScriptManager from the Ajax tool kit and I am having a problem finding my button's ID. My ID's on my controls come back with $ symbols instead of _ symbols, like the following: Grid$ctl06$insertButton This obviously causes problems when attempting to find the control from the Page.Request.Form keys. I cannot seem to find the determining factor that would cause this. Now, I know this is the name and in my source I see that the ID is with the _, so why is the Page.Request.Form showing up with the $ symbol instead? Anybody encounter this before?
