  The Django documentation gives en example like so: b = Blog.objects.get(id=1) b.entry_set.all() Which from what I understand results in 2 queries. What if I wanted to get the blog, the blog entries and all the comments associated with that entry in a number of queries that does not depend on the number of entries? Or do I have to drop down to SQL to do that?

• Is it a bad programming practice to have "Public" members inside an "Internal" class?

  I mean, won;t it be more specific and appropriate if i "only" keep "protected","internal" and "private" members (field,method,property,event) in a class which is declared as "internal" ? I have seen this practice ( having "public" members in an "internal" class) in various code so just wanted to know is it a bad practice or does it has some benefit or advantage. I'm doing an educational project in which 1) I record voice commands on a separate device and after appropriate processing etc... 2) I send 16-bit samples encapsulated in UDP packets over Ethernet to the PC. • How do I bring a processes window to the foreground on X Windows? (C++)

  I have the PID for the process (and the name), I want to bring it to the front on linux (ubuntu). On mac I would simply do SetFrontProcess(pid), on windows I'd enumerate the windows pick out the one I wanted and call SetWindowPos(hwnd, HWND_TOPMOST, 0, 0, 0, 0, SWP_NOMOVE | SWP_NOSIZE); but I'm at a loss of what to do on linux. I've looked at X Lib a bit, but most/all of those functions seem to operate on windows inside your process. Thanks in advanced.
