    Just any old GSM compatible SIM card (bonus for 3G USIM). I presume I need some hardware? Can anyone recommend something cheap for hobbyist, and something more professional? I presume that there will be full docs of an API with the h/w, so maybe this should be tagged "no-programming-related"? Sorry, if so. Any good URLs or books (I am conversant with the 3GPP standards). I'm not (black hat) hacking, don't worry, just not pleased with the likes of SIM Card Secretary, Data Doctor Recovery, etc, so would like to code my own, but might turn it commercial, or offer SIM card programming services (data recover from damaged card, etc) as a sideline.

  • bing api 2.0 sdk json samples got syntax error in Firefox browser

    I just downloaded the Bing API 2.0 SDK. There are several html files in Bing API 2.0 SDK\Samples\JSON directory. I replaced the AppId in the JavaScript with my new AppId. These pages run fine in IE but I got 'syntax error' in Firefox, Firebug console. Does anyone have similar issues? What is in the page that is causing the 'syntax error'? Thank you very much. Jazure

    Hi Im trying to add a app.config file to my dll, but all attempts have failed. According to MusicGenesis in 'Putting configuration information in a DLL' this should not be a problem. So obviously im doing something wrong... The following code should return my connectionstring from my dll : return ConfigurationManager.AppSettings["ConnectionString"]; However, when I copy the app.config file to my console application, it works fine. Any ideas?

    We are building a comprehensive integration test framework in C# for our application which exists on top of HTTP using IIS7 to host our applications. As part of our integration tests we want to test incoming requests which will result in EndOfStreamExceptions ("Unable to read beyond end of stream") that occur when a client sends up a HTTP header indicating a larger body size than it actually transmits as part of the body. We want to test our error recovery code for this condition so we need to simulate these sorts of requests. I am looking for a .NET Fx-based socket library or custom HttpWebRequest replacement that specifically allows developers to simulate such conditions to add to our integration test suite. Does anyone know of any such libraries? A scriptable solution would work as well.

    I'm running this query: SELECT FROM com.Data WHERE entryDate DATE('2010-3-16') I get this error: org.datanucleus.store.appengine.query.DatastoreQuery$UnsupportedDatastoreFeatureException: Problem with query DATE('2010-3-16'): Unsupported method while parsing expression: InvokeExpression{[null].DATE(Literal{2010-3-16})} The same query works when I use it on the admin console. But it does not work for code (java), either locally or when deployed. Any ideas?

How can I create a SQL script from the command prompt or Powershell that will let me insert the files into a simple table with the following schema: XMLDataFiles ( xmlFileName varchar(255) , content xml ) All I need is for something to generate a script with a bunch of insert statements.     I've coded an experimental function which makes passed objects chainable by using high order functions. It's name is "chain" for now, and here is a usage example; chain("Hello World") (print) // evaluates print function by passing "Hello World" object. (console.log,"Optional","Parameters") (returnfrom) // returns "Hello World" It looks lispy but behaves very different since it's coded in a C based language, I don't know if there is a name for this idiom and I couldn't any name more suitable than "chain". Any ideas, suggestions?

    Hi, I have a war file and when deploying it thro the admin console in websphere i am getting the following error after specifying the war file location and the context-root. The EAR file might be corrupt or incomplete. org.eclipse.jst.j2ee.commonarchivecore.internal.exception.DeploymentDescriptorLoadException: WEB-INF/web.xml Any suggesstions to resolve this issue? I also unpacked the war file and checked that the web.xml file is present in the web-inf folder. Cheers, Deena
