  • How to install Reddit Open Source on a web server

    I have been playing around with the Reddit open source software and have been getting no where fast. I was wondering if anybody can instruct me on how to install the software on a web server. I know how to install normal php scripts etc, but I've never installed a software such as a python or rails script before. I'm not very good with commands but I know how to run them.   • Exchange not delivering the mail

    I'm having an issue where my Exchange Edge Transport server receives mail (found in logs) and then it vanishes, never ending up in the users mailbox, I have a edge subscription setup between it and the main Exchange server, how can I go about tracing the message to figure out what is broken? I also have found records of the message in the logs on the main Exchange server. Thanks a ton for any help Edit: If I change port 25 on my main router to point to the main exchange server as opposed to the Edge Transport, email comes through fine form external domains and delivered in the correct mailbox

  • Show & Hide hidden files on demand in Windows

    A little while ago I discovered that on Ubuntu linux one can display or conceal hidden files on demand at run-time by pressing [Ctrl-H]. This is really handy. Is there anyway this can be had on windows? I'm guessing Windows Explorer is not amenable to this, so I'm open to 3rd party file managers provided they're open source, freeware, or cheap (in order of preference). thanks

  • Some problems I have on my iphone 5s

    I have some problems with my iphone 5s that would like to state here hope to get the sultions for them: 1- My iOS version was 7.0.2 and I installed some good apps on it, then I updated my iOS to version 7.0.3. After that when I tap some of my apps, first page of them appear and immediately vanish and don't go to the app. Does anybody know how to solve it? 2- At what percentage I should recharge the buttery?     Hi, I have a small home network with the router capable of running OpenWRT, is there some utility or firewall rule, which can be used to Wake On LAN on request. What I think - if I want to access my media centre (using for example SSH or HTTP) and it is suspended, is it possible to catch the ICMP packet (saying the machine is offline) and send the WOL packet to wakeup the machine and resend the SSH or HTTP request?     I have installed web application behind IIS which access the files/directory located on the another machine. Now while developing the application using the Visual Studio 2008 then Developer Web Server it provides when build the site was able to access the location. However when the site is deployed on the IIS its saying Unable to access the file because of insufficient permissions. Can some one please help regarding what could be the issue ? any idea or pointers could be helpful. Thanks,

    I downloaded the program named speedFan(for measuring the temperature of the hardware), and I have parameters like these GPU: 60C HDO: 38C Temp1: 50C Core 0: 44C Core 1: 44C Core: 59C Ambient: 0C I know that it shows me temperature of the different parts of my hardware, but I have no idea which ones, can You please explain it and also, is it something wrong with my laptop (because temperature of GPU is 60C) thanks in advance

    I am asked to type some math formulas that can work in Microsoft Office and MathType equation editor. But I only have access to Ubuntu 12.04 near me, there is LibreOffice available under Ubuntu as well, but I am used to type math formulas in LaTex. So I wonder how to provide math formulas that will work in Microsoft Office and MathType, if I work under Ubuntu, preferably with LaTex but LibreOffice being also acceptable since it is still under Ubuntu?     I'm trying to write an install script and i need to change the sendmail line in php.ini but I want to do this automatically at the moment I'm doing this manually: sudo nano /etc/php5/apache2/php.ini finding the line containing sendmail_path = then editing it to be sendmail_path = /usr/bin/msmtp -t then saving the file.     I recently started using Linux and was floored by the ease with which windows can be moved and resized with simple keyboard combinations using Compiz. If I want to move a terminal to top-right of the screen a simple CTRL+ALT+Numpad9 does the trick for me, and it resizes the window at the same time. I'm sure you guys know what I'm talking about.     Hi I've installed docutils on my Mac OS system following the docutils instructions. I've also done: $ sudo cp tools/buildhtml.py tools/rst2html.py /usr/local/bin However, if I open a command line and type rst2html, I get 'command not found'. If I type rst2html.py, there's no problem, so the Python file itself is on my path. How do I get my system to recognize rst2html as a valid command? Thanks!

  • Can't connect my 3G to home router umbrella

    I can't connect my 3G iphone to my home router. I added my MAC wifi address (followed those directions to locate it) to the filter of the router. My iphone wifi address appears on the allowed list. However, when I try to connect using my iphone, it shows wi-fi not connected, and the umbrella corporation comes up still locked and asks for a password. We don't have a password set up for our router access at home. I'm not real tech-y so speak plainly...thanks
