  • Terminating suspended NSTask.

    Hi, If I terminate (or interrupt) a suspended NSTask, then it still shows up in activity monitor. It isn't running because the CPU is 0% but it's still taking up memory. Is there a work around?

    Vista's Resource Monitor includes a reading for "Hard Faults/sec". Is there an equivalent performance counter I can use in C# to get this reading? I've tried the "Page Faults/sec" under the memory category, but that appears to be something different.

  • How can i display a MFC CHtmlView inside a dialog?

    I found a lot of links on the internet for this question but i don't understand their (partial) solutions. One of the main problems seems that i'm builing all dialogs by hand without dialog resource files or the Visual Studio Application Wizards. So i would need pure C++ code that i can type into my Editor. There is also some reference to a "CWebBrowser2" control, but a grep on the VC directory does not give me any results, so where can i find this?

    Hi guys, I'm trying to create a bandwidth monitor - I've done most of it, but I want to have a notifyicon that changes dependent on the bandwidth. The same as when you open task manager and then minimise it, there is a little animated bar graph by the clock showing CPU usage... How do I do that??? Any help would be appreciated.

  • Java / Tomcat memory leak in RedHat Linux?

    Hi, I've got a Red Hat box with 6G memory running Tomcat and I'm trying to figure out how much memory I have left on the box. Problem is, top & jconsole is showing one figure (around 200M), and system monitor is showing a different figure (around 2G). Does anybody know what the difference is? I'm not sure if there is a memory leak happenning here, but the highest memory consumer is a tomcat process that's taking 2.2G of memory. Screenshots below:

    This is probably a nub question, but I don't understand why this works: <script type="text/javascript"> alert(foo); function foo() { } </script> This alerts "function foo() { }", but I expected the alert to be evaluated before the function foo was defined. The first environment is Spring 2.x based while the other has no spring at all. For example: /App_GlobalResources/someresources/myfile.resx /App_GlobalResources/someresources/myfile.fr-fr.resx /App_GlobalResources/othereresources/otherfile.resx /App_GlobalResources/othereresources/otherfile.fr-fr.resx Or, are all the .resx files placed directly inside App_GlobalResources?
