• how do you control the width of a jquery ui autocomplete combobox

  i am using this jquery ui combobox autocomplete control out of the box off the jquery ui website: my issue is that i have multiple comboboxes on a page and i want them to have different widths for each one. i can change the width for ALL of them by adding this css: .ui-autocomplete-input { width:300px; } but i can't figure out a way to change the width on just one of them

• Custom error page configured in IIS for code 400 (bad request) is ignored

  For my website I configured some custom error pages. If I generate a 404, the redirect works fine. When hitting a 400, the "bad request" text shows up instead of the configured URl. As a test I copied the URL from 404 to 400. No change. Then I changed the redirect to a file. No change. Any ideas?

  I have a viewController that presents a modalViewController when a UINavigationBarItem is touched. After the user is done with the modal view, the modalViewController is dismissed. At this point I want to change/remove the NavigationBarItem -- how would I accomplish this? I was thinking of using viewWillAppear: but I only want the change to happen when the modalViewController is dismissed.

  i am using pcap library to sniff some packets, change their tcp data , and then inject my packet on the network. my question is: if i changed in the tcp data, should i recalculate the length field in the tcp header? should i also change the checksum? i read in a page on how to create raw sockets that if you set the tcp_checksum to 0, the kernel will automatically calculate it and fill it, is this true for windows machines also?

Any ideas? There was another question on here and the only answer was to use html styling but you can't change a font size in html without using css (or the deprecated font tag). There must be a better way of setting the pixel size of the font used on buttons?

• Emulate disk IO speeds in Android SDK

  I don't have a physical Android device to work with, so all I can use is the emulator. I'm wondering if there's something I could use to make the IO speeds more realistic - How do I slow down disk access to the speed it would be on a physical device? Also, this may be unrelated, but when I change the speed and latency options in Eclipse ADT DDMS view, I don't notice any change in internet speed on the emulator. Is this a bug?

  Hello, I have designed a trading application that handles customers stocks investment portfolio. I am using two datastore kinds: Stocks - Contains unique stock name and its daily percent change. UserTransactions - Contains information regarding a specific purchase of a stock made by a user : the value of the purchase along with a reference to Stock for the current purchase. db.Model python modules: class Stocks (db.Model): stockname = db.StringProperty(multiline=True) dailyPercentChange=db.FloatProperty(default=1.0) class UserTransactions (db.Model): buyer = db.UserProperty() value=db.FloatProperty() stockref = db.ReferenceProperty(Stocks) Once an hour I need to update the database: update the daily percent change in Stocks and then update the value of all entities in UserTransactions that refer to that stock. In the dashboard, I see that the task.py takes around 65% of the CPU (Stock.py takes around 20%-30%) and I am using almost all of the 6.5 free CPU hours given to me by app engine. I have no problem to enable billing and pay for additional CPU, but the problem is the scaling of the system… Using 6.5 CPU hours for 100 stocks is very poor. I was wondering, given the requirements of the system as mentioned above, if there is a better and more efficient implementation (or just a small change that can help with the current implemntation) than the one presented here.   hello all, I am working with images and changing their sizes dynamically from the input I get from the user. when I change the size of the image first time it doesnot reflect the changes when I click the refresh the page using the browser button the change gets reflected and after that tere is no need to click the refresh button Please tell how shall I do it so that there is no need to click the refresh button of the browser ,the changes but get reflected at one shot.
